Very chill atmosphere on a Sunday. Happy hour is daily 12 to 6. We love an early happy hour. It is also a very long happy hour as well. 6 hour happy hour. Love the murals on the wall. Plenty of honor on the walls. Love all the contributions from my fellow veterans. I now feel compelled to add some of my Airborne stuff to the contributions.

Great discounts for locals and military. Happy hour prices are amazing $3.00 well and domestics. Heroes vodka is soo good! Bartender Morné is amazing! Stop by!

I have finally found my place. It has taken me almost 20 years to let my guard down. Fighting survivors' guilt and the things that I had to do. Along with my TBI and not understanding how to deal. I was able to just relax and live in the moment. Thank you for this. I can not wait to return next year.

Nice bar that serves vets, military, police, first responders, nurses, doctors and even discount to the locals. Great happy hour prices. Bartender was awesome. I even found one of my former patches of my unit that i was part of early in my Army career🥰

Great place. Small bar, but the atmosphere is amazing. Bruce was our bartender and he made us feel very welcome and talked to us the whole time; however, it wasn’t the bartender small-talk BS; he has a great story and really made feel like we sitting around just telling stories. A definite must-stop if your are visiting KW.

All the bartenders are great and they truly take care of the Hero’s that come in. They offer a nice discount to all military, veterans and 1st Responders!!

This place is unbelievable!!!!!! I will always come there when I’m in Key West. I hope we can move here. Pixie was our bartender and hell I’ll come here just for her great service. She knows her liquors, can tell you how it’s made if you need to know. Our glasses were never empty. Everything was cold and strong and good. This place is IT!!!!!!!!

Just off the main drag. It’s rough and ready, you’ll either like it or you won’t. More a place for a beer in your own than a marriage proposal. I like it! Cool staff and music.

My favorite bar in Key West!! A prior Coastie and retired Firefighter. Bring your patches to represent and enjoy the great bands they have here. Great talent! Also the staff is friendly and fun as hell!

This is an amazing place with amazing people and very talented musicians. It was the most fun I have ever had at fantasy fest. I will return. Highly recommended.

Pixie is the amazing kind of bartender who (I saw) treat ladies & men she met today, as if she knew them for years. After feeling so welcome myself, I asked another patron how long she knew Pixie. She replied "just met her today". Her creativity with throwing obscure but amazing cocktail creations together is another example of how seriously she takes her position of helping clients have a memorable experience in Key West.

Mama Jo is the best! All the staff is fantastic here. Delicious drinks. Great souvenirs! Fun vibe, multiple floors! Love to look at all of the patches on the beams, walls, ceiling! Can't wait till next year!

My girlfriend is a sheriff's deputy and was excited to check this place out. We were really bummed because the bartender hardly gave us the time of day. My girlfriend mentioned she was law enforcement and he gave a discount on our drinks but never cared to ask where we were from or anything engaging. He pretty much ignored us and chatted it up with a local patron that brought his dog in. The bar seemed cool but find some bartenders that actually enjoy being social!

Hero’s is such a hole in the wall place. But it will not let you down. Especially if Jeremy is working. I have never had better conversations with a bartender until I met Jeremy. And if you have had one too many (def not me) right across the street is MR Z and hero’s will let you eat inside. Such a wonderful vibe here. Will be back every time!!!!!!

Fantastic Place to visit, great atmosphere upstairs live music has some of the best truly local talented musicians, I'm a KW Conch native and this is just a short block off the Duval crawl but so much better place to hang out also military and firefighters local bartenders locals etc make this their watering hole. KW was known for great local artist and talent this is were you fins some of the best! This Friday night the performance was incredible, drinks and atmosphere best you will find.

Our first time visiting Florida and at the last minute decided to make the trip 3.5 hour trip to Key West. Parked at the old Firehouse parking lot and didn’t really know where to go first so… we figure, let’s grab a drink then figure it out! Heroes was our very first stop in the Keys. And that pretty much set the tone for our stay. So, they were surprised that Heoroes was our very first stop, especially having never been anywhere in Key West. Thought maybe we were local, loved that!! I cannot say enough about our bartender, Morné! He was informative, attentive, and chatted you up like you were his BFF! Wish we had the time to stop back in before we left but we were only there for the day and I was toast after we left Heroes (hats off the the bartender for that) 😂 We’re definitely coming back to Key West, Heroes Bar and to see you,Morné!!! Thanks for being the highlight of our trip! We didn’t do anything but eat and drink this time. Next time we’ll check out the sites and history, lol!! Cheers!!

Still a great spot to meet some awesome locals and have a quality beverage. The gentleman they had playing live music upstairs with unreal, such talent.

Little hole in the wall bar that is fast becoming one of my favorites. Great bartenders in Brandy, Chris and the Marine guy! Decent prices with military discount with good beer selection!

We met Mama Jo, Jabe, and Rhonda last weekend. This is truly an old school bar that loves the US. Owned by a veteran and respects our freedoms.

What a great place. Very friendly and just a great place to hangout and enjoy the view. Just a great place.

This place is definitely my top favorite bar to go to when I come down to Key West! The atmosphere is very cozy and the staff as well as customers are very friendly. Elaine is the BEST bartender! The upstairs area is a cool place to sit and watch football or listen to the live music! Elaine really made my time there fun and inviting and even came up with different drinks for me to try, she’s AMAZING!
