Of course, wouldn't we all like to give perfect reviews about every place we go? We did love this hotel for the convenience and the location. I met a wonderful woman that ran the front desk by the name of Rhonda and I am sad that I didn't have more time to chat with her because she was such a kind woman and a person that I would have never met if we would not have stayed at the hotel. As far as the rooms go, it's a standard room. A little old and dated. There's a wall air conditioner, but the biggest disappointment for us was lack of microwave. Sometimes, you want to just toss in a little snack or make something in the room that you don't want to walk to the lobby during the course of your day. We did get a lot of rain the one day, and our carpet seemed a little damp, but it could have been just from outdoor moisture and a window air conditioner. I wouldn't shy away from booking this hotel. Customer service from all of their desk staff was wonderful! They were all very kind! The ability just to walk down the street and pop into one of the shops or walk over to the steam train was a bonus! Be warned the smell of those steak bites are deadly! They waft fantastic garlic smell into your room, and it just makes you want to eat that every single day!

This is a great little hotel that provides really good service at a more than economic price. Anybody that remotely pretends that this is going to have the same quality of finishes or hotel linens as a $400 night Hilton need to quit posting reviews. Clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet.

Dated but clean room. Incredibly small parking spots and little parking. If you wish to maintain a dent free vehicle, park in the city lot if you can find a spot. There are about 10 TV stations. No night staff so you better get there by 8 or 9pm. Unbelievably, they wouldn't provide us with a key card for both of us. No towels brought to us or trash emptied on the second day. What you really need to know is that this place is 3 levels and no elevator. Heaven help the old or disabled. Better hire an attorney to read their listing because while some of this may be in the small print.... it is not up front.

Really not great, overpriced for a really mediocre room. Got a general unwelcome vibe unless you spend tons of money in the entire place. One room key, front desk leaves at night. AC barely worked. Main upside is you dont need to cross the road for food. MT Rushmoore is really boring, drive by take a picture and stay somewhere else in the black hills.

Location was the main reason for staying here...walkable to everywhere in Keystone! Both Boss's Pizza and Pub-n-Grub both have Thursday night NFL!

Great location, liked our sweet room, big suit for the price, friendly staff and good coffee. Deff better but not the worst.
