This is an OK over priced gym on steroids! Too many red flags about joining it: 1. They refuse to give you prices over phone and you have to visit them to do so 2. It’s super full and the trainers do not point out when someone is doing something wrong. They wait for you to go and ask and you won’t get an answer 3. Needs better ventilation 4. Bathrooms/showers/toilets are not super clean. Not to mention that there is no proper ladies bathroom and changing room in the mixed area, only a filthy shower stall and changing room with no toilet, toilet located elsewhere. I used 3 machines today that had their weight pin broken and trainers do not care what so ever. When asked they reply with yea we know, use another machine or take a pin from the machine next to you! 5. Their classes schedule change regularly so plan on not making long term plans 6. My very first day, I went to 7:00 am class and waited with 10 other members, and the coach never showed up and no one gave any explanation. 7. There are 0 material to disinfect/clean the machine before or after you. Especially in the bike studio, it’s just disgusting. However, if you simply need a space to workout with all machines and free weights in one place, it’s convenient as long as you go to work out before 2:00 pm Men have clean showers and big changing rooms. Ladies apparently only have that in the ladies section in the basement!

Been a loyal every day member for over a year now , was kicked out of the gym randomly today for wearing plain black cargo pants because they weren’t “sporty” , keep in mind I have been wearing the same stuff for a few months now. Management has been awful the past 4 months, hiring horrible coaches and the kind of people signing up at the gym has decreased in quality. Some bad people with fights happening occasionally at the gym. Not to mention how uncomfortable some of these coaches and members make women feel , both Khalda and Abdoun branch. Absolutely unprofessional and I will be switching over to RizeUp. I’m warning you not to subscribe to Golds Gym Jordan until they get better management. It’s a horrible overpriced experience right now.

Best gym in town with all the right ingredients that I need for my workout, well ventilated and clean. I feel way more motivated to workout. It really worths every penny. Gym gets packed at times, all of the staff is friendly, front desk etc...

As I’m writing this, I feel so disappointed that I will say the following… This place is not worth your time nor your money. I thought to myself choosing - a nearby gym - reasonable price for a subscription - good reputation Will help me stay committed and always eager to go. Instead, I was not satisfied at all! The staff in woman’s section were not the friendliest to talk to. I felt I was judged whenever someone of them approached me. My items got stolen, and when I kept coming back at the reception to ask about it, they told me to get over it! As if I find my money on trees. Don’t get me started to even speak about your parking lot!! My car got scratched. The illegal parking spots that your valet guy tells people to park there and it’s blocking the aisles. The worst nightmare ever to even park there. All of these points made my experience the worst. I personally feel like I donated to your corporate, hopefully I will see some changes! PS/ all these were noted by the staff of the management and on instagram direct messages and no one got back to me.

Before I start my review, I'd like to mention that this review is based on a special case I've been through today. We've arranged a 30 minutes swimming class for my special-need niece with a coach that is specialized for her case, and he was a nice and good person, but that's not my problem. The problem started from the parking lot till we reached the pool, it was a horrible experience, I don't think it can be worse, I'll summarize my experience in these points: 1. The Valet employees are using the special-need parking to park fancy cars instead of making them clear for the people whom in need, and we had to get the carriage and everything else in front of everyone, it was totally uncomfortable and horrible attitude from the Valet guy. 2. The entrance has a pretty high threshold, since our carriage is heavy and not made for stairs and thresholds, so it was pretty annoying. 3. The controlled entrance door to the elevator was small, we couldn't enter with our carriage since it wasn't made for special- need people, so we had to carry our 8 years kid and leave the carriage outside. NOTE: an 8 years old child is not easy to carry at all. 4. There's no special-need bathroom, and it's not easy to change a kids clothes without a carriage and without a special-need bathroom. I understand not all people notice these stuff because there's a lack of awareness towards special-need utilities, but since this gym has a special-need specialized trainer, they must have special equipment and facilities. I ask you kindly to take care of people whom in need, or just publicly say that you can't host special-need cases. The two stars are only for the coach, he was nice and my niece loved him (she's usually uncomfortable with strangers).

I usually don’t write reviews but it has become necessary . I have been a member for the last 2 years and recently I had an incident in the women’s sauna . There were nails coming out of the wooden benches and one ripped my pants .. I reported it and no one reached out until 2 weeks later and with a simple sorry and we will fix it … I go into the sauna everyday and the nails are still there.. I went in again today and although I made sure to sit where there aren’t any nails which shouldn’t be there in the first place, once again I caught my pants, so now I have ruined both pairs and when I called reported it again all I got was we know there is a problem but we haven’t been able to address it yet and sorry.. such an unprofessional way to handle a problem and it’s unfortunate that a company like Gold’s Gym can’t keep up with maintenance at their facilities.

Something came up that day and we couldn’t go, so I told her I can’t come and her response was just rude. she made me feel as if she was only there waiting for me to come and didn’t have anything else to do, she said something around “you need to be more accurate next time because apparently you’re bad at coming on time”. then she called me around 4 times in 2 weeks and I didn’t pick up because she had the worst attitude and I ended up blocking her phone number yesterday I tried giving them a second chance, also had to deal with a sales guy who was like you and your sister need to bring 300 jd each when you come but I promise you it will be less??? although I told him Im not coming to sign for the gym’m I’m just there to see your offers as I want to decide whether I want golds or another gym, and apparently they’ve done that with my friend and tried to pressure them to pay. it sounds as a scam if I have to show up in order for you to give me a basic information !

Literally worst gym in the world, all couches attitude is sick. I’ve been to all types of gyms in a lot of countries, but this wins as the most disgusting. The manager is soooo rude and arrogant!!

Too much fragrance / cleaning smell in the cardio area makes it difficult to workout. The music is so loud that I can’t even hear the music in my headphones. The bathroom smells horrible. The machines are rarely maintained - around half the treadmills have some sort of problem. The majority of the lockers don’t even lock properly. The quality of people has slowly degraded over the years due to declining membership prices. They ignore all of these issues because the management simply doesn’t care. The gym is also way too crowded. Go at 6:00 PM and you won’t even be able to workout. I switched to the Abdoun branch because this one simply sucks. If you’re looking for a minimally functional gym, join this one.

The gym is almost always over packed, and the number of machines/benches barely meet the demand. The gym’s cleanliness and hygiene aren’t up to standards. Parking spots is another huge issue. If i can give a zero star to this gym i would definitely go for it. Paid for a gym membership expecting to get a good quality service from classes, management, and coaches but got completely the opposite. If you are hoping to leverage the classes in this gym, then you’re definitely better off somewhere else. I attempted to attend four different morning classes only to find out they were canceled the morning of with no substitute coach to run the class, other coaches had no idea and management were confused that the class was canceled, every single time. Kept me wondering around the gym asking about the class to finally get a “oh sorry the coach had an emergency this morning and couldn’t attend”. After the first 5 days of my gym membership i requested a cancellation or even a transfer to other members and was immediately declined “sorry we can’t cancel after the 5 days”. I told them i’m not happy with the facility and classes “sorry it’s not our fault that classes get canceled” Honestly, the monthly $150 JODs is worth investing somewhere else. Would recommend F45 if you’re interested in classes or another gym. Would not recommend this gym to anyone, such a. money grab.

I live in the US and visit Jordan- I had one of the manager tell me that he will allow for a 2 week gym membership for me so I will pay an amount for two weeks instead of the full month (at a lower cost) only for a different manager to say that will not be given. I felt that was very unprofessional- one manager says something another one says something else. I really appreciated that the manager told me he wanted to work with me on a two week membership, especially since we had some complaints and he wanted to ensure customer satisfaction and because I was staying in Jordan for less than a month atleast so far and I told him if I stay longer I was going to extend my membership. But when another manager said no that will no longer be granted I felt it was very unprofessional and strange. Shouldn’t I deal with the same manager, and shouldn’t he keep his promise. Anyway, it made me hesitant to join the gym, although I wanted to join it as my cousin works out there too, and we like to work out together.

I registered my 1.5 years old toddler in the kids area, discovered later that it is unprepared to serve kids under 3 years old, who still need diaper change with a bin next to a clean changing station, no water or water heater to make warm milk, and no refrigerator for baby snacks that does not last long in crowded heated area.. which is officially a legal requirement to open a decent kids area, workers do not really like children which makes their job harder and all they want is that you finish your workout super fast, and attend your child as soon as a tear drops from his eyes, though I have an easy going quiet toddler, and calming him does not take a huge effort. I felt super sad leaving my baby ignored in this atmosphere, and they only play with your child if they saw you near.. Supervisor was very rude defending the worker which might be as well her friend, even the supervisor did not care much about her job and I constantly saw her playing with her phone next to a charging cable. And the management all cared about that you don't request a refund rather than really fix the problem for future costumers. Plus I have got super stressed from the coach trying to sell PT like you will die soon if you don't, talking 45 minutes how bad my In-body test result is, and at minimum I need 24 PT classes XD Worst Gym ever and they are loosing their reputation.

Too crowded, all the time. They need to limit the membership numbers. Very hard to find parking. The prices are decent, and the staff is great. The employees are attentive, helpful, and up-beat. The yoga class shares same space with a martial arts/boxing studio!!! Very difficult to balance yourself on thick pads (mattresses) all over the place. They also run a very loud aerobic class next door and this makes it impossible to focus on the yoga and you can't even hear the instructor. I hope they take care of these issues because this could be a great gym.

They said that they would give 2 weeks for the Covid situation (when tested positive), and when I asked them twice (once through the manager and once through the counter) and the third time I checked, they pretended like they extended the date but they actually didn't. I checked my contact just in case they lied, and the contract proved they did. Just wanna tell people to double check their contracts.

There are a lot of flaws in this gym. First of all it's unheated in the gym, it means you easily can get sick there after the shower or swimming and I'm talking about it in winter. Second if you wanna freeze your account they charge you 10 JD for every 15 days, For example, you wanna freeze your account for a month they will charge you 20 JD.

I swim here, very convenient and clean April-May (except on weekends) Then it's insane during summer, very crowded. The last time I went swimming in the pool outdoors it smelled funny and I got an infection two days after. Overall, I wouldn't recommend swimming here.

Don't get fooled by the big building and the Marketing campaign. They poor customer service. Very busy so you have to wait in line for machine and weight training. Very expensive and they are not willing to give you a day pass to try it before paying off the entire membership upfront. If you are looking for a gym to train go to a smaller and less busy one.

I'm still new at gold's Gym, tried it for 3 times. It was nice, new machines. Nice staff. Very clean. No classes yet. Except around the outdoor pool. The ladies indoor pool is relatively large and the good thing for me that there is a separate aqua-pool. Though, I don't like the outdoor parking. The car gets so hot in the sun. But that's not a facility within. But still, it's a huge area, can be covered with photovoltaics, generate electricity and shade the cars.

Maybe the best in town BUT, no respect for Covid masks by customers. They allow kids and people with mental disabilities in swimming pool. Fitness specialists try to convince you for highly priced personal sessions all the time.

Golds gym has taken the lead in my chart of the best gyms in Jordan. Fully equipped machines and training tools. Swimming pool with good view in the outdoor and excellent indoor pool. Cardio section is great, around 20 cardio machines can be found Boy Strengthening area section is good Different Classes are available approximately every hour from 4 pm till 8 pm except Fridays. This place is disappointing. most of the bikes in the spinning room do not work. some of them have dysfunctional monitors others broken pedals without straps. The instructors don't seem to care about complaints. There is no water fountain for clients to drink.. when I asked about the reason they said it is CoVID but truth is the water fountain did not work for a long time before COVID. some of the treadmills don't work. they occupy space for no use. Gym gets very crowded at times and it is not comfortable to work out there between 4 and 8 pm. Management should stop accepting new members or should encourage people who are able to come in during the day by offering classes during the day or incentives. parking area is a total mess.. I just do not understand how these people are not able to arrange a decent parking area for customers. at first it was no black top. they put black top with no lines and it was a zoo. now they put lines that are not divding the lot in a manner for people to park comfortably. people do not follow the lines because some of the lines do not male sense.. this parking situation has been going on for years... there are a bunch of guys working in the lot and they don't seem to do a good job at organizing the traffic. there was a jaguar car that was parked in the best spot in the lot and 2 people guarding it. Only negative is the rude receptionist by the name of noor at khalda branch (blonde hair) who I dont understand how she is still working there. The gym should really work on hiring people who can respect customers more.

I took personal training sessions with coach sabir and he is one of the most outstanding professional trainers in amman. He is very knowledgeable and an expert at helping his clients achieve their goals. The gym is excellent and coach sabir is a wonderful trainer and has helped me get in shape in a record time. Nice and clean gym. Highly recommend it. The pool on the top floor is very nice for men only. They don’t have towels so bring your own. They have shampoo and shower gel, hairdryer. Clean locker room and nice helpful and smiling staff.

I would like to extend my thanks for Mr.Ahmad abu saleh (PR manager )for being so helpful with one of the issues that i ve faced at Goldgym. It was solved on spot.thank you for the good after sale experience. Keep it up .

Very good facility with many machines to cover all athletes requirements. This multi floor building have separate female and mixed gender training halls, in addition to a swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam & sauna rooms. They offer daily classes if you want to enroll in daily routine work out. Prices are reasonable for the level of service they offer. They have dedicated parking lot and valet parking service as well. There’s a room for improvement in many areas.

Big space, Great gym equipments, best classes, Sauna, swimming pool 🏊‍♂️, clean 🧼 friendly stuff, free Wifi، becomes crowded after 5pm in the 2nd floor, great long term offers.

As a gym its great and has all the equipment u might need and more but its kinda crowded and traffic might be around the area its located in

Clean, very big place. Lots of machines and everyone is friendly. Had separate pool for women and a childcare centre.

The biggest health club in town with many options for excersize starting the gym, swimming, machines, and much more with good price offers.

I had a very great experience at this gym, even though it’s always packed majority of the time. I managed to meet lots of new people. The gym is very nice with lots of equipment . I would like to say thank you to Diya the best coach in the gym, very kind and helping. He definitely deserves a promotion!!

I already heard to Abdoun Branch like everyday, i used to go to khalda branch to swim either in the closed or open pool. The gym is soooo clean so is the pool and it’s spacious and organized

Pretty much one of the best gym's in Jordan, capable equipment and machines, cleaned regularly, and nice staff.

My kids taking swimming classes with coach Jawad, he is one of the best, very kind and knows how to deal with children. my kids are diving now after 13 classes only, they couldn’t swim before.

This is an OK, overpriced gym. There are too many red flags about joining it: 1. They refuse to give you prices over the phone, and you have to visit them to do so. 2. It’s super full, and the trainers rarely point out when someone is doing something wrong. They wait for you to go and ask. 3. There is no proper ladies' bathroom or changing room in the mixed area. I used 3 machines today that had their weight pins broken, and trainers do not care whatsoever. When asked, they reply, Yeah, we know. Use another machine or take a pin from the machine next to you! 4. Their class schedules change regularly, so plan on not making long-term plans. 5. On my very first day, I went to the 7:00 a.m. class and waited with 10 other members, but the coach never showed up and no one gave any explanation. 6. The cleaners rarely clean the machines after someone finishes working on them. 7. Two machines broke at the beginning of August, and only one of them was fixed last week. It generally takes a long time to fix machines. However, if you simply need a space to work out with all machines and free weights in one place, it’s convenient as long as you go to work out before 2:00 p.m. because, after that, it's too crowded. Men have clean showers and big changing rooms. Ladies only have that in the ladies' section in the basement! They don't repair broken machines.

Customer service is horrendous. My car was hit while parked in their parking spots. I tried talking with the managers to try and use the security cameras to find the person who hit my car, but they were not being helpful and at times stop responding completely. Every one was very dismissive, including the receptionists, despite me being a long standing member there. Will not be renewing my membership again.

I love going to the gym here, big and very clean. I do recommend going here. However, it takes a while trying to contact and get ahold of staff as when you're trying to do the fitness exam that you can do when you first start here. Besides that, the trainers are really nice to everyone and will help you out if you're doing an excersize wrong so that you don't hurt yourself. There are also a bunch of deals and promotions if you come at the right time!
