Well what can we say about this place? Afterall it is the Mini Switzerland of India. And this place truly lives upto its name. It is a must visit place if you ever visited Dalhousie. I visited Dalhousie 3 years back without a glimpse of Khajjiar but now i truly regret what I missed 3 years back. Nonetheless i enjoyed this majestic place.

True to its name: it is a mini Switz. The scenery is mesmerizing. It is a picturesque place. Unfortunately it started raining and hence the activities were off. But a very beautiful picnic spot and some ground activites like parasailing, zorbing, horse riding, etc. Any pictire clicked here will turn out to be awesome

Located at the epicenter of khajjiar - the Mini Switzerland of India. In summer you can enjoy the real view of khajjiar lake because it gets surrounded by greenery. While in winter 🥶 looks like frozen water. Each season have their own natural view. You can enjoy various adventure activities like paragliding,horse riding and many more.

Place known as mini switzerland. Wonderful place to visit, especially after snowfall. Gives thrilling feeling when mountains are viewed from here and the sun rays falling on white mountains and those rays also coming from the clouds

This one is certainly right out of a story book. It just magically shows up in the middle of a forest drive. The landscape is surreal and even though there might be multiple activities happening In and around it, you'll be able to find yourself a spot to relax and sink the beauty in. It is a approx 20kms from the Gandhi Chowk in Dalhousie. The ride to the place is equally beautiful as you pass through a forest reserve. Highly recommended.

The Landscape is very good and big in the Himalayan mountains. Lake is small.

Mja aa gya. Very peaceful place. With lots of beauty. But lake water is not cleaned. Many games. Food points . Soothing atmosphere.

Really unforgettable place!!! No doubt it's called the mini Switzerland. Worth every penny and very second spent to travel, astonishing view,good and fresh food served right near the lake. Make local photographer are present there to take your snaps with local costumes at nearly 80rs per print,horse riding at 300/- per trip, paragliding at about 1200/-I mean all reasonable!! Then the hotes like the govt resorts @4-5k per night in season and 2500/- in off,while local home stay or hotels are also good option.You can bargain and great deals!! Must visit!!

One of the famous destination among the tourist you will find a big large green grassland with a small water pond in between the field surrounded with tall pine trees which makes a beautiful tourist place and makes it's resemblance with Switzerland that why it's called Mini Switzerland, you can also enjoy some adventurous Sports over here and also some fast food stalls

1. Go here only if you in slow clad season 2. Don't buy shilajit or any other local stuffs . 3. It would be dirty if you go in any other season apart from winters. 4. Horse riding is recommended. I have done it for 250 for a 1+ km ride around the ground. It was my best experience here. 5. Both Khajjiar and dalhousie were waste places as per me , but it varies person to person point of view. Dharamshala has many more things to do and see.

I went to Khajjiar lake last year with my parents it was beautiful sight and the air couldn’t be any more fresh although the lake itself was almost dried up to the point no activities were taking place in it, our visit was one the same day as a local fair so there was a huge crowd. One thing my whole family noticed was that the street vendors were charging the locals extremely less as compared to the tourists but I guess that’s very common.

I have always had a dream to visit this place since childhood. And finally I visited this place on 12 March. This place is literally very beautiful. The breeze, the view & the essence of nature is breathtaking and amazing. The widespread green grass ground is amazing. One can spread his whole day here by enjoying nature. One can enjoy horse riding, photography, live songs from the pahari uncle, playing games in ground etc. One can also stay here in Khajjiar as the hotels and restaurants are also available here.

Khajjiar lake consists of a small area in Khajjiar. As the lake is not maintenance here hence have become very dirty. It is said that during monsoon the lake takes a bigger area to cover and in winter it remains the shortest. In winters snow covers this area in January and gives a heavenly look to this place. There are passage through which the extra water is drained out so that the lake does not get flooded.

Very beautiful and serene place but gets crowded as the sun goes higher. Horse riding and other activities are available later in the day. Best time to see the lake is early morning.

A charming and refreshing place filled with lush green. It justifies the name Mini Switzerland with landscape and a best place to spend some time.

This very time in the month of October 28th. 2023 this lake has shallow water for which bloating activities are being restricted but all other activities are on the full run e.g. horse riding, zabling,walking local folk dances.

Best place for families and kids for a good time. Khajji nag temple is a must visit place in khajjiar. I suggest at least one night stay in khajjiar to enjoy the beauty of khajjiar and all activities are very good and well spent. The horse ride was a different experience here.

Lovely place to be. This is most scenic place and wonderful for relaxing and bring kids You can drive here in your car if you want. Road is bit narrow. Make sure you are confident in driving your car in hill. Newbies are not suggest to drive here. Once you are here , it is worth travelling
