First, she questions us about our vaccination paper (she didn’t accept the corona check app and demanded papers - which we showed her, and then, even though it says Holland on it, she acted like we were from an alien planet and questioned us for 10 minutes). Then she says - you can take those two seats over there, do not go anywhere else, and if you don’t like it, you can leave. What a b!+&$. Please go somewhere where they treat you with some sort of dignity and customer service.

An amazing 5 star rooftop bar with a swimming pool too. The views of the Parthenon, the city, and the mountains are all stunning. The drinks are very expensive, but iys worth stopping by and having a couple of drinks just to enjoy the magical views.

Hands down, the best dining experience I've had so far. I have to say the staff, especially Henry, gave us a great meal! We were seated by the back with the best view of the Parthenon. It was quiet when we ate, around 5pm. They opened up the glass barrier by our table, which gave us the perfect view of the landmark and allowed a lovely breeze into the restaurant. We ordered the scallops, which were served with puree, which was different from what I was used to pairing it with, but it tasted amazing. Different types of bread were offered in a small basket, and we had white bread and bread seasoned with tumeric. It came with Himalayan sea salt and specially made butter. The steak was served with roasted carrots and a moussaka croquet, cooked to our liking. The dessert was rich and was neatly presented to show the trilogy of chocolate. It may be heavy for some after the main course but since our tours were done for the day, we took our time and had a relaxing evening. Every staff member was friendly, helpful, and paid close attention to detail. I highly recommend eating here as a treat, the starters are around €20 but filling and the mains start around €35 so it may seem pricey but for a 5-star hotel with 5-star views, it is worth it!

We had a great lunch at this place with a fabulous view. The food was delicious and the Greek wine was outstanding. We came back to the bar at night just for the view again before we left back home. I would definitely come back again and recommend everyone that visits Athens to try but you will need to make reservations ahead of time for dinner.

For our last night in Athens, we wanted a nice restaurant for the 5 of us. We chose the metropolis hotel restaurant for its view and more affordable menu. It was a beautiful view and service was great. Food was ok, looked really good but didn’t taste that good. Had better fish and lamb at other places in Athens. We didn’t like the Crete wine that the waiter recommended either. Overall good place for nice views of the Acropolis, but wouldn’t recommend it if you were looking for someplace with great food.

Starting with the bad side: prices increased by 5-10 euro compared to the menu listed here. So the whole meal costed about 20 euros more then expected. The main dish (lamb) which was delicious, was just a small portion it was like an appetizer course size. even after dessert I was still hungry. On the plus side: The service is good, the dishes were absolutely wonderful! and the atmosphere is great with the view and all. There are Michelin star restaurants that are cheaper. I'm off to eat some crisps total price: 80 euro for one person Still can't wrap my head around the idea that I stayed hungry after such a price

Good cuisine, but not exeptional, but too! expensive for the quality as Michelin rated restaurants in Athens are less expensive. The view is really fabulous. That is the real reason for the price I suppose.

Stunning views of the Acropolis. The drink prices were a bit more expensive but that is expected at a rooftop bar and the cocktails were really good! The Parthenon spritz even came with a little cup of nuts which were a really nice touch. We went on a Saturday in early May. We didn't need to pre-book although if you wanted dinner with a table with a closer view you might have needed to. In any case we were able to get up and get some great photos.

It's a nice place with an amazing view. Nice crowd as well. Along the bar and the restaurant there is a open roof swimming pool. Overlooking the Acropolis and it makes a perfect match with a sunset. Nice coffee and delicious cookies served with espresso. Staff is very nice and friendly, a bit slow though, hence the 4 stars in review.

This place was very nice. Yes it's expensive but definitely worth every penny. The texture of all the food we had was very good and I think that's what makes it unique. The view was also great. We spent two weeks in Greece and tried many amazing restaurants. I booked the Metropolis Electra Roof garden to celebrate my partner's birthday. It was honestly the best dining experience we had in Greece. The food was exceptional, view was amazing and staff were very attentive. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The restaurant even organised a birthday cake (without us requesting it). It was a perfect evening and I would recommend it to everyone.

I've visited the rooftop of this Hotel for a glass of wine. The service there couldnt be any better. Polite stuff that know their job. The view is amazing. Great variety of wines. Definetely reccomend it.
