Mangal actually has a very rich menu. We ordered babagannuş, haydari, Ali Nazik, yağlama, yaprak sarma and Cretan ouzo. Çiğköfte, beetroot and acılı ezme and hot fresh pita and especially the meat was amazing. Prices are very avarage. I will try the lahmacun next time. I strongly recommend.

We came here with no expectations, close to closing time. Things Happen in a slow place - as is the natural Mediterranean way. 😌 the food was delicious, their warm fluffy pita is something I haven’t seen before quite this way. The Kurdish tabouleh is also something new for us & everything was delicious. You should try if in exarchia - portions are big and prices very low / fair. Not a touristy place - but a DELICIOUS place.

Really good interesting Kurdish food. Many vegan variations of traditional Kurdish dishes plus meat dishes too. Only found this place on our last night . we will definitely go back on our next trip to Athens.

Very good restaurant. We are not expert food reviewers, we were just travelling with out two young children, but this was the best food of our few days in Athens by far. Authentic greek food done very well. The kids polished it off, so i say no more.

Absolutely delicious Anatolian food. Baba ghanoush is divine. The baklava was milkier than I was used to, but also delicious. Will return next time I'm in Athens! Huge thank you for the çay as well - needed it on a cold day.

An excellent gentleman that was serving who knew that was late (due to a larger than expected crowd) and managed the situation nicely. Everything that we ordered was very good, despite a couple of them never arriving. It was a busy day and they were unprepared but that had no effect on the tastyness of their food and the niceness of the staff. Nice job and keep it up.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. When the bill came out and for the amount of food that was served, I thought I should have paid way more than I did. This had to be one of the best places to eat during our visit to Athens. We stopped here in the way to the National Archaeological Museum and we were the only ones in the restaurant. We were hesitant at first because of it, but we left with no regrets of eating there. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area. The service was great and the the staff was extremely friendly.
