We stopped by here right after the airport. The room we had was really big for the two of us! There was a lot of storage space. The room was pretty clean. The room has strong AC. The room that we had also has a ceiling fan as well. We slept for about eleven hours peacefully without any interruption. We needed a clean, quiet place to rest as we had been awake for over 40 hours and YK Art House did not disappoint! We actually woke up late and had to request an extra 30 minutes for check out and they were very understanding! They also have a storage space for us to store our backpacks after checking out which was really nice of them! This guest house is also less than a 10 minute walk to AEON Mall which we stopped by a few times for lunch/dinner and to get away from the heat! Highly recommend this guest house!

I was in Room 10, above the café (whose sounds ended by 9:30 pm, so weren’t bothersome). Rooms have a ceiling fan and air-conditioning unit. Also a tiny fridge. Small but adequate bathroom with shower fixture. Electricity went out briefly one evening. Café serves coffees, smoothies (soymilk), breakfast plates - I enjoyed the hummus-spinach-tomatoes on toast. Happy Hour cocktails. Filtered water available from a tap at the bar. The pool is tiny and right beside the café, so not attractive to me; maybe okay for a dip. Pleasant reception and staff. Resident cat, Orang.

Great place for the money. Having a last drink on the terrace after a long day discovering this exciting city overlooking the roofs of the neighboring buildings is very relaxing. Very clean but simple furniture. I didn't used the kitchen because there a all kind of restaurants around but could make my coffee in the morning before leaving makes it comfortable. The room is small but enough space for your stuff. The ac in night time is a winner. Overall I would recommend this place with no hesitation. The people managing the place are very nice.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location of Phnom Penh! Very friendly and capable staff with very good English skills. Very clean rooms and quick laundry service. The little vegan restaurant adds the final touch. I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay.

Beware! This hotel and restaurant cheat on money big time. They gave me bunch of old dollars back which nobody actually wants to accept here in Cambodia. They require people to pay in dollars for food but they always lay that they don't have change in dollars and they pay back in local currency with terrible exchange rate. Vegan food served here sounds good on paper but it's flat and boring and taste like paper. The only artsy thing about this place is art of cheating customers. Room wise, it is what it is, decide by yourself.

For the value this is unbeatable. Super chill bohemian style hotel. Lots of green and super chill. There is a library, pool, restaurant and cafe inside. What else could you ask for at this price? Our beds were comfortable and clean. Shower was hot. And our room was big. The restaurant is vegan and they have a deep menu. Coffee was good, too! We stayed a second night and will stay again!

Wow what an oasis! All this at such a great price, what an amazing vibe a real surprise! Where do I start 🤔. Instantly relaxing on entry, the city just dosent exist anymore! All these guys do from their commitment to the environment, community even to the street dogs🐕 With great bar, full vegan restaurant, well stocked library and art space - featuring artists in residence, great quality art to I must say. 🤗 Then there's the room, more like an apartment! Separate queen bedroom, verry large lounge /dining /kitchen, all fully furnished in vintage art deco furniture, full cooking facilities, fridge microwave etc if you want it. The bathroom again, large with big walk in shower! Can't rate it enough, this place gives me hope for humanity 🙏

Dog-Friendly Accommodation in a Socially Conscious Guesthouse with an artistic vibe and popular Bong Bonlai Vegan Restaurant. YK Art House is one of the very few places in Phnom Penh that welcomes dogs and it’s definitely worth considering when travelling with four legged friends. We received a warm welcome from Nita and were allocated second floor Apartment 12 for us and Apartment 6 for our son. Apartment 12 provides simple clean accommodation with en-suite bedroom, kitchenette and sitting area with a second restroom and is cooled by 2 efficient A/C units. Our 2 dogs felt very comfortable staying in YK Art House and we would be happy to stay with them here again.

I was only looking for a simple room in the area. What I found was a whole community and good vibe. The place has cute, comfy rooms, veg food on sight, a pool and an open study/sitting room with book-packed walls, games and even a few musical instruments. They also host a series of community events focused on plastic reducing & other eco-protective themes. The only thing I wasn't a fan of is the food's presentation. As mentioned in another review, the breakfast toast plate is a bit misleading. There is toast on the plate, but one wouldn't know simply by looking at it as the bread is completely covered by the veggie topping. My suggestion is to overlap the veggie atop the toast so that 30-40% of the toast is visible while keeping the veggie topping easy to place on toast when eating. Again, the place is grand I'll definitely be staying here again when passing through PP.

We had a great stay at YK Art House. The guest house is in a quieter area about 30min walk from the central palace area of PP. There is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant downstairs, a big book library and a weekly Ukelele circle. We didn’t use the pool but it looked clean if a little small! Our room was the largest room we’ve had within our budget in SEA, linen and bathroom were clean and bed was comfortable. Only thing that could be improved would be the staff and check in process, it went smoothly but was short and didn’t cover some key points like when the outer gates would be locked by the night guard… we quickly worked this out and it wasn’t a problem but would have been good to know to avoid a little panic when we came back at 10pm to a locked gate.

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay! Surrounded by beautiful trees it's a piece of heaven in the center of Phnom Penh! They also have a vegan restaurant, a swimming pool and an art gallery on site! I highly recommend this place!

A wonderful place to stay in Phnom Penh. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the vegan restaurant at the hotel served wonderful food. The garden restaurant is a beautiful and calm oasis when wanting to take a break from discovering the city. Also a big plus for the library with vacation reading! The staff was very friendly and helpful with booking bus tickets etc. We ended up staying here three times during our travels in Cambodia, would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

A homey place to stay with comfortable rooms, a relaxing garden and delicious vegan restaurant. Around the corner from Bassac Lane, with trendy independent restaurants and bars. The family room is a particularly great deal.

We've stayed here twice and the second time was in the classic apartment, which is insanely wonderful value for the money. It's cozy, spacious and makes you feel at home. They have ceiling fans and AC and the apartment is fully equipped with kitchen gear. The staff are great, there are awesome cats, a happy security dog and easy access to the city center. It's also right beside Bassac Lane. They have a lovely restaurant with a nice menu. You never feel you are putting anyone out and it's incredibly relaxing. This is now our go-to in Phnom Pehn.

I'm loving this accommodation. Its interior is not too much, neat, and homey. Coming back to the room after hours of touring the city is a blessing. There is also a simple swimming pool here to cool down your body :)

Whilst all around this block is the relentless whirlwind of PP’s congestion, here you can take a rest in the eye of the storm. There are several community driven endeavours that take place here, a home for rescued animals, a regular safe place for ukulele players to huddle and more, giving a strong sense of social resilience to the place. I love that there is a vegan restaurant here, but sadly I didn’t get to try, this time. Room was spacious, comfortable with desk, chair, wardrobe and strong wifi.

Very clean, having pool and a veggie restaurant nearby. This is a good environment friendly hotel. Locate at the center of the city. But the hotel do not provide car park.
