First of all, the place claims to serve Hyderabadi dum biryani which is not even close to Hyderabadi dum biryani. No standard waiting time. Worst customer service. Too expensive. Not worth it overall, find a better place to eat👍 It is not Hyderabadi dum biryani served here, it is an insult to Hyderabadi dum biryani and South Indian food. Any restaurant is better than this one.

Dear IITians, if you think that you're bored of having food inside KGP and thinking of getting some good briyani outside. Then this is for you ! Don't get deceived by previous reviews which has posted good reviews for this restaurant. We ordered large chicken biryani and mutton Biryani. The quantity was too less , it can't even sufficient for a person to have. Mutton biriyani was too spicy( They prepared mutton seperately like gravy and mixed with basmati rice ). Totally disappointed and it wasn't worth the money.

It's a different taste compared to Kolkata biryani. So u can try there for a variety taste but it's highly overpriced with very less quantity. Not a reasonable price and they says that theory large biriyani will be same amount as the normal full biriyani which is jst fake. Their large quantity biriyani is merely same as normal full biriyani. It's waste of money and they kind of use some unnatural spicy masala which caused my stomach upset.

Price a bit on the higher side..but taste is good...start up by an iitian ..they have a grill cafe also opposite to it where you will get barbecued food items having really really amazing taste..giving it 2 less stars for the high pricing..Don't miss their grilled sandwiches..and this grill shop is situated beside smart pind

After renovation, the new restaurant became a nice place to dine out. Food quality and quantity are impressive. Especially fish biryani and boneless chicken biryani are awesome. Their behaviour is also very polite. It's a must-go place for biryani lovers in Kharagpur. 😊

Worst behaviour. Found Cockroach in Briyani. Once we were asking about this issue Waiter was literally abusing us and kicked us out.

Extra charges taken for already fixed MRP Thumbs up product. For 20 rs MRP product, they took 22 Rs Its not about the two rs money only Such kind of fraudulent acts which are against basic judicial law shouldnt be supported. Highly disappointed

The Sahara or Amigos restaurant: New location: It's now located inside the IIT Campus near tikka . The chicken biryani is spicy and good , just like Andhra and Telangana style . Must try ; Special chicken shawarma , Raju gari chicken pulao , Kaju Paneer Biryani . Swiggy prices are way higher than at dining at restaurant.

Very overrated previously meals (no chapati n no paneer item) was @80(non refillable)now same meal @150 (refillable) and curd is added to it, funfact but no one will come to refill the items even after asking and waiting for 15 minutes. So they are just making fool to people. Do go there if you are not that much rich to waste the money

Overall the place is good to go for biryani specially if you like the spiciness , shawarma is amazing and also the different dosa they are having. The one thing is it is basically based on south indian theme so mostly the taste will follow from there. The staff and service is a bit slow and if you want to have cold drink so buy it from outside as they privide in glass and that is opened you dont know how much time ago.

Worst and rude behaviour. Food quality reduced by 50% and price increased by 50%.

If you like Andhra Style Biryani, then this place is must in Kharagpur, rarely you see actual good Andhra style biryani in kgp, loved it.

Worst manager and owner you can ever see. Food quality is very poor. Sometimes they serve whatever left the day before.

It was superb before lockdown. After lockdown, the quality of the food has degraded significantly.

Not worthy for the cost. The mutton biriyani of cost ₹265 wasn't enough even for half stomach. Utterly disappointed.
