This is a south Indian restaurant. We ordered masala dosa and vada with lassi. Dosa and vada teast was normal type, but lassi was terrible.

It's a quaint little place where you'll find varieties of South Indian dishes major focus on the different Dosas they make. The food is good. The staff behaviour is good as well. Overall I always have a good experience there.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times. Dhosas are quite amazing, especially Chicken Dhosa. But I have noticed one thing every time I have ordered any milkshakes they took huge amounts of time to serve. Even had to wait after finishing the meal. And the taste is average.

Try cheese chicken butter masala & panner masala dhosha is best .. don't try bririyani it's a waste of money...

So today is Onam❤️a traditional south indian festival.on the occasion of Onam I would like to share some authentic and best south indian dishes from saffron food cafe❤️the taste of chicken cheese dhosa was really awesome.but I just love the cheese uttapam 😍 it tasted like the original south indian uttapam ❤️if you haven't tried south indian food yet then this is the best place for you❤️

South Indian dishes are good. Me and my boyfriend orderd mocktails alongside the South Indian dishes. Those mocktails tasted pathetic... The decision of having a drink after the meal there was the worst decision... And the staffs there are not at all friendly. It seemed like they are eager to make you leave their place ASAP... Even if you are not done with the food. The ambience also is not satisfactory considering it's a cafe!

Well I have seen this place fall over time. We came in for having a good time but the rude behavior of the staff was quite shocking. The waiter yelled at my grandmother for not being able to accommodate herself in a crunched seating place. New customers walked off as well seeing the rude behavior and the sheer mismanagement. If they don't know how to behave with a senior citizen, then they better discontinue the establishment. We had the waiter bicker with 4 families, 2 of them simply walked away. I don't recommend this place at all and warn you to stay away

Sitting place is little compact. South Indian food tastes yummy here. Quality and quantity both are adequate.

Food is good but staffs are very rude,management should look into the behaviour of the staffs,they use to argue with customer and do not provide proper sanitizar.we will think twice before going again

AMAZING ❤️ I'm not a big fan of South Indian food. But I fell in love with the chicken egg cheese dosa. All the chutneys were amazing as well. The dahi vada was soo refreshing. I didn't like the soft drink only. Except that everything was just amazing. Definitely gonna visit there again ❤️❤️❤️

Its a resturant in Sodepur which mainly serves South Indian cuisine. Food are tasty I must say and I loved it. A bit overpirced which i felt but considering the taste of the food i will probably ignore the price. Nice environment inside the restaurant. The only drawback is you need to clim stairs to reach the restaurant which can be a problem for aged people. Rest all good 👍🏻

One of the best, if not the best south Indian restaurant in whole north Kolkata. If you are traveling or living at sodepur, then I would absolutely recommend you to come here for your lunch, (can come for dinner, but it's too much crowdy at that time). The behaviour of the staffs are really something worth appraising.

We only tried with their : Butter Masala Dosa (so delicious ,fresh & full of Butter) Cheese Chicken Dosa (full of crispness & chicken was also soft & juicy with curry leaves) Cheese Masala Dosa (was tasty too) Lastly we ended with their Coffee (was very satisfying) South Indian lovers must visit here...highly recommended...

I had a worst experience of my life here today. Worst customer service. Continuously telling me you can not sit here, you cannot sit there.At the end I asked is there any problem if I sit here. It only had 2-3 people, place was almost empty. I was with my parents felt so bad. When you are paying service tax you have full right you can sit anywhere you wish to. If you don't pay service tax that time also you have right to sit anywhere you wish to. That one person I thk he is manager treating me like a slum. Nobody has right to treat anybody that way.

Food is good but ,the manager or restaurant incharge is too protective towards his subordinates however the were truly noticeable passing idle time on the floor during service time. Less sincere towards guest. Will not go for second time. Will also suggest others the same.

It has been a great South Indian Food place on sodepur station road (above Mio Amore). Their food quality and quantity is very nice. Recently a new top floor has been added with a redefined menu (with fried rice, biryani and etc). Full AC and everything at a reasonable cost! Recommended to relax and eat.

A very innovative experiment with South Indian food. A must grab. They just need to check on the seating arrangements. When the place is little crowded, they don't arrange for other seats but ask to adjust with other customers in a single table.

Worst experience ever..lack of professional ethics..only the waiter was modest with the customer and the the other management members argued harshly with the customers for the sake of seating arrangement.. their behavior is simply harsh.they need to brush their professional ethics.

The worst experience I have ever had....we had ordered 1 butter cheese chicken dosa worth rupees200 for 3 of us. .....but they forced to order atleast 2 items for 3 people ....I have never seen this type of disgusting rule in any other reputed place...
