We recently had the chance to visit the Sodepur outlet, and I was not disappointed. The biryani was everything we had heard it would be: flavorful, meaty, and perfectly cooked. The staff is always happy to help you choose the right dish, and they're quick to bring your food to the table. Here's a more detailed review of my experience: Mutton Biryani: The biryani is the star of the show at Dada Boudi Restaurant. The meat is cooked to perfection, and the rice is perfectly fluffy. The spices are well-balanced, and the overall flavor is simply delicious. The Veg Mains: The masala kulcha was soft and buttery, and went well with the kashmiri aloo dum, a spicy yet sweetish flavorful potato dish. The prices at Dada Boudi Restaurant are reasonable. A plate of biryani costs around Rs. 200-300, and a masala kulcha costs around Rs. 50. Overall, I had a great experience at Dada Boudi Restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great biryani in Kolkata.

Well after standing for 1.5 hr in the line , got table , we ordered first the fish fry which was very good , after that mutton biriyani which was too too bad , dry , after eating some portion we had to pack it . Well the restaurant washroom was horrible, no cleanliness, I think after eating this biriyani I will never go to Dada Boudi . I don’t know why it’s so hyped . Totally disappointed ☹️.

Honestly, the restaurant has given easy access to people of Kolkata to the famous Dada Boudi Biriyani. However, I have noticed a slight degrade in quality while compared to the Barackpore outlet. Well, for the sake of Biriyani, I often visit this outlet at least twice a month and faced issues a few times with regards to the mutton pieces where they served a entire piece of fat.

One of the best restaurant in Sodepur. Very tasty food with affordable price and also good in quantity. Brilliant atmosphere to spend with your family friends and loved ones. Comfortable dinning spaces and very polite behavior of all the stuffs.

This place needs no detailing, no description... Its dada boudi sodepur outlet. Everything is same like the barrackpore, actually it is getting better than the barrackpore outlet. Here you don't have to waste your time by standing in a long queue and they can arrange you your preferred seats. They don't force you to sit strangers which I like the most. Now the come to the food items... I had chicken tangri kabab as a starter and mutton special biryani which was literally enough for two. Juicy mutton pieces, soft alu and flavourful rice this is heavenly. Only thing i don't like is they make you wait to take order. Otherwise its a good choice.

Delicious food! Dada Boudi restaurant never disappoints. We ordered chicken tangri kebab, chicken chaap and one chicken biryani. The quantity of biryani was enough for two people and chap was loaded with butter. Overall, affordable, moderate spicy and delicious food.

Food is good is both quality & quantity. Congested sitting arrangement. Table for 4 is converted into table for 6. No elbow space at all. Staff is helpful. Best to avoid rush hours when visiting. Lunch rush from 2 ~ 4. Dinner rush from 8 ~ 9 30.

The food is amazing 🤩, ambience is lovely..the place is bit small and feels crowded..but if you are a food lover..then the crowd won't affect you at all! They have takeaway facilities available too..so you can eat and take them home too!

This place is perfect to dine in for the biryani lovers... Their Mutton Biryani is really delicious in taste... The quality and quantity of the food are also good... There ambience is okay... But they take time to serve the food... The overall experience is really nice...

Food is good but waiting time is very much longer...they should arrange more seats so that the waiting time is shorter. But the big problem is to find a parking space for your car, they don't have any parking area and you need to find a space in road side and they will call you up in the middle of your lunch/dinner to take your car to other place as the roadside vendors are complaining. We faced this problem and this seems very much disappointing to us.

Trust me it's over-hyped. The food is good the location and dine in ambiance is also good. The customer service is a little disbalanced ... The dine in customer gets a lot of attention while the takeaway customers are not treated in a good way, there was arrogance behaviour in some of the biryani distribution staff and all ... Overall it's a good one and one can have a try ... The biryani is good rather can say delicious but trust me this place is too much hyped ... But can definitely say it's a must try atleast once

There is nothing much to say about Dada Boudi as its already very famous in Bengal. One of the best Mughlai Restaurants for all the Biriyani Lovers. it's a must visit restaurant who loves spicyandflavourful taste in Biriyani. Excellent taste with good quality and quantity.

Good quality food. And very nice atmosphere. I've taken a single plate of mutton biriyani i think its more than enough for a single person who eats average. And also I've tried fish fry and its really awesome.

Mutton biriyani is really good, mutton is well cooked and tender. Other dishes are good too! Only issue is on a weekend or on a holiday you might have to wait 1 hour outside because of the crowd.

If you dine in then only the taste is awsome and the mutton is ❤️, but if you are planning for takeaway then you will not get the original taste. *Only mutton biryani and fishfry is recomended. Other dish is not so good.

Dada Boudi Sodepur is a small yet popular outlet of Dada Boudi Biryani in Kolkata It serves Tasty Biryani in Large Amounts, and the Service is Nice as well. Overall a Good Restaurant.

We visited this place as it is very much popularly famous for their special Biryani in West Bengal.. But after having my food i was not that satisfied with the food... Biryani taste okay okay.. The restaurant was not that spacious.. Staffs are courteous but late service given..

One of the best places to eat Biryani. Probably the best ever I've tried till date. The mutton piece was very soft! The biriyani was full of flavour yet light. Seating arrangements could have been better though! Had to share a table with unknown folks as it was overcrowded.

I have been to this restaurant when it first opened. Biryani was very far off from what Barrackpore branch offered. But then I’ve been to Sodepur branch a couple more times in hopes that they must have touched to Barrackpore level, and it didn’t lowered my expectations! Sodepur branch has finally caught up to Barrackpore. Well it did a year ago but what I experienced last year and this year is in this testament.

Good place to dine and all over good experience with the food . The quality is not as same as Barackkpore's one surely but can be tasted obviously.

Food was really very nice . I loved the mutton biryani . There was a chunk piece of mutton with a huge quantity of rice . And as always they sustained thier qualities as usual . Very good atmosphere in the sitting area . All over very good experience.

This is just a hyped place , served mutton while I ordered for chicken. The staff behaviour is average, they are just working like machine, reason again the "Hype" , We stopped loving biriyani after visited Dada boudi .

Dada boudi Resturant.....There are no Bengali who do not know about this place 🥺. This outlet located near Sodepur offers some lipsnacking Biriyani to biriyani lovers. The place has a sitting capacity of 40-50 people and is fully-ac. We tried their mutton Biriyani (5/5) which contained a largee piece of mutton and aloo. We also tried fried rice and Stuffed aloo dum (which is a highly recommended one) after Biriyani. The fish fry, kebabs and chicken side dishes offered by the place are too good. This outlet also offers take-aways and serves aloo biriyani too.

This is something great when we are talking about Biriyani. Purely having it's own and traditional taste since many years. I can remember those childhood memories when we used to visit Dada Boudi Barrackpore branch and this Dada Boudi Sodepur is the branch of original Dada Boudi which is in Barrackpore. Sopdepur branch is just continuing the legacy. I had visited many times now already to this Sodepur branch and never been disappointed at all. Taste, quantity and quality everything is just superb. I asked my desired pieces and I got it. This is super satisfaction. As it's just on the BT Road and near the Sodepur Dutta Road Crossing, so it's always crowded. People love to eat Biriyani of Dada Boudi. Now they are also preparing chicken chap and other many mouglai dishes and many of them are really good.

I recently visited Dada Boudi Sodepur Restaurant and had an amazing experience. The food was delicious and every dish I tried was full of flavor. Food quality and taste - Top class. Amazing. Mouth watering dishes. Ambience - Not good, crowded. Service - During peak time, the service is not quite as good as I expected. But they provide service as early as they can. Price - good. Not so expensive.

Food is simply great, I haven't had this type of biriyani in Kolkata in years. We ordered fish fry, chicken and mutton biriyani, chicken lawabdaar, mutton kossa and firni. The biriyani is moist and full of flavors, so as all of the other food items. However, the 2 significant drawbacks of this restaurant are the waiting time and the parking, the missing 2 stars are for the same. First we went to the Barackpore branch, didn't get space so they told us to visit the Sodepur branch. After going there, we waited almost an hour for our turn. If you are really hungry and dire need of food, this place is the last that you want to try, as you may faint of hunger 😜. The second but most important issue is the parking, as the restaurant doesnt have their own parking space and we had to park our car in front of some other shop. Eventually had to get up in the middle, to move the car as that shop (fish market to be specific) was supposed to open and the owner of that shop was creating a big fuss at the restaurant. This might not sound a big problem for someone, who is in Barackpore or Sodepur as they can come by walking. However, for us who are coming from far, it's a big headache to park the car and eat peacefully. Going by the reputation of this restaurant, they should immediately arrange a separate parking space of their own, else it is going to be a big turn down for many.

Every penny get into consideration, what u pay nd what u get all 10/10 . Specially chicken biriyani, chicken rami kabab . And mutton biriyani.. Plz dont try any chickne item because they all r same. As per the ambience concern its okey. But u will get a heavy crowd. .

King of Biryani!!! Price is so reasonable considering the service and quality they provide. One issue in the sodepur branch that the space is little small and feels a little uncomfortable.
