Nice place to walk around located in the city center, clean, green, fountains. Everybody comes here to enjoy this park. Here you can eat in nice restaurants, opera house is not far away.

A monument of a great Ukrainian poet who was also fighting for independence. Situated in the Shevchenko Garden in downtown.

Amazing and interesting big park

Awesome location! Many different things to do and enjoy around the monument. Also plenty of benches if you just want to sit and relax. 5 Stars for sure!

One of the best places in kharkiv

The monument is very imposing and it is set in the most beautiful park. There are superb floral displays all around in summer. The monument is a great tourist attraction. The whole area, set as it is in the city centre is well worth visiting. There are improvements being made to the park which, I am sure, will enhance the park even more. I have watched the workers laying out the flowers and I have never seen a more dedicated group. Personally I think the mayor is improving everything in the city, not just the monument and surrounding area. I would like to meet him some day.

Well made monument. A fountain located around 100m behind the statue The area around the monument is a nice place to walk around. Lots of seats. Can see some street musicians playing their instruments. Best time yo visit : evening
