Review based on an overnight stay and afternoon tea. Positives: Service at the afternoon tea was impeccable and we were given a complimentary late check out. The ambience and surrounding was wonderful as was the tea itself. Negatives: Despite being a ‘friend’ of the Landmark (a members club for the hotel) the hotel rate was in fact much cheaper to book on a third party website as opposed to booking directly which defeats the object of this ‘exclusive’ club. It clearly states on the website that you get 10% off dining if you are a ‘friend’ but the restaurant team had no idea of how this arrangement worked and asked me for a membership card (which is not provided when you become a ‘friend’) and this obviously made me feel rather uncomfortable despite the tea being booked with the restaurant team directly. The disappointment here is not one for cost but more one for principle and process, as if a guest follows what you have outlined the process to fruition should not be so arduous. This allowance was eventually applied by the reception team but only when I was happy to pay in full and my frustration was clearly on show given how long it was taking them to verify my ‘friend’ status/resolve the issue.I was repeatedly asked ‘have you just joined now?’ The errors have continued even after my stay unfortunately. Usually they take a holding charge of £100 however my holding charge seems to be £200 and they have taken a further £180. Since calling the hotel about these charges they have agreed this is an error and apologised (yet to be resolved at time of review). How did that even happen? The mind boggles.. In conclusion I would probably be back for the afternoon tea but not for an overnight stay.

Fantastic hotel. Was here for about two weeks and the service from the staff is second to none. The room service and in-house restaurant menu are fantastic. A great breakfast buffet with very fresh fruit and all the options was served daily. Although on a busy street and across from a train stop, which makes access easy, it's quite peaceful and quiet. Quite a few choices for sit down or takeaway within the area and convenient to walk in safe neighborhoods and its proximity to high end shopping as well. Lovely piano music daily in the atrium and the Mirror bar is worth a late night visit for a last cap.

It's OK but there are better for the price. Depending on what you like, there are better for slightly less price. The good things are the room decor. The poor sides are the management team who treat my wife amazingly well (she normally books) but treated me quite badly when I had to interact with for a particular issue (its the first time I made the booking). And the check out line is very long (why can't we check out digitally?)

Excellent restaurant to cater for many occasions. The Winter Garden is an incredible setting with it's gallery glass ceiling and tall palm trees. Excellent customer service where you are made to feel special. If you are unable to secure an afternoon tea reservation, you won't be disappointed with the a la carte or set menu options. Highly recommended but would advise to book a table in advance (or call for cancellations). I would add that we took our baby in a pram (who slept 2 hours throughout our lovely meal). We were absolutely accommodated and made welcome.

I booked afternoon tea for my sister’s birthday and the experience was really good. The sandwiches were delicious, desserts and tea were amazing ! That caramel tea was just amazing. Our server was great and regularly came to ask if everything was okay. My sister enjoyed the food and the experience. Great place to take some wonderful pictures. The chicken sandwiches were halal. I recommend this place if you’re wanting to celebrate a special occasion.

Magnificent luxury hotel with a superb architecture and very spacious ballrooms. Having a meal in the courtyard is a very pleasant experience - not to mention the pianist who plays in the afternoon into the evening. Very elegant atmosphere. Very courteous and helpful staff. Highly recommended. 💯💯💯

Fabulous afternoon tea. Our waitress was very attentive. The Winter Garden was beautiful with a gorgeous Christmas tree and beautiful decorations. Wonderful pianist played the piano throughout the session. A lovely experience and such a treat for Christmas Eve.

Beautiful hotel. We stayed at Marylebone suites and the room was spacious, clean and beautiful. They had 24 hours room service. Breakfast was very high quality and had lots of options to choose from. Location was very good.

The hotel was fabulous, with excellent location, decor, service, and ambiance. Our room was spacious and clean only when we arrived. However, I was disappointed with housekeeping. The cleaning of the room was terrible and not fitting for a 5-star hotel. There was no afternoon refreshing of the room, and dirty wine cups were left on the table, along with a water bottle near the bed for two days until I personally removed it. I forgot to mention that the ice bucket remained untouched until the end of my stay. I reported the issue to the reception, and they sent housekeeping to the room. The staff member confirmed that there had been lapses in cleaning, admitting to occasional laziness, and suggested I remind them each time. This is, of course, unacceptable. The concierge, Mars, was exceptional among the other staff members. At least he made our last day at the hotel fruitful.

Great SPA with a large swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room (in the changing room area). Because of the large newly renovated swimming pool and all other facilities like steam room, gym, etc, this place deserves five stars! SPA area is available for hotel guests or when someone books spa treatment/massage. In the hotel there is a grand, posh and really beautiful Winter Garden restaurant with an opulent design, palm trees and piano live music. Very nice for an afternoon tea, lunch or dinner. On the ground floor there is rather informal yet a classy pub called Grand Central. Overall, a place I would recommend.

Had a relaxing few days at the Landmark with my wife and 2 children (7&8yrs). The family room was very spacious, big bathroom too. Everything was clean, fresh and no dust, water pressure from shower was excellent, air con in the room was brilliant (God send in the summer). If we needed anything from concierge a quick phone call and they would be up to our room promptly to accommodate. There was a little tent for the kids with complimentary teddy bears and head torches which made their day, very nice touch. The bedding was clean and fresh as were the towels and dressing gowns. Breakfast buffet was excellent, so much variety, something for everyone I'm sure and staff gave us an attentive service, can’t fault it. The hotel is stunning and it felt like we were on holiday abroad with the tall palm trees in the centre of the hotel (the winter garden). Due to covid we had to book a slot to use the pool which we did and it was very nice and relaxing with only one other family using the facilities at the same time as us. Lovely hotel, everything was clean, staff very attentive to us and our needs and we would definitely stay again. In respect of any issues I had, if I had to nit-pick it would be (1) there is no ventilation or extractor fan in the bathroom, (2) mattress was too hard for my liking. But, nothing to stop me/us going back again that’s for sure.

Had afternoon tea at this place, and the ambiance was lovely. The staff was super friendly and attentive. However, the pastries didn't meet our expectations – quite a letdown. We noticed many people leaving lots of pastries uneaten, and unfortunately, we understood why once we got ours. They were just average, nothing really special. Given the price, I'd consider exploring other options.

I stayed at The Landmark London last weekend with my family. The experience was faultless from start to finish. Excellent location (for leisure or business), polite and attentive staff, spacious rooms, excellent breakfast and impressive pool and spa facilities. I would highly recommend.

A wonderful experience in the very best location! We now spend our time traveling the world and for us The Landmark stands out as the best hotel experience. We have stayed here several times and always enjoyed a first rate service. Whether it is the comfiest beds ever, the excellent pool (perfect size) spa and gym facilities, the champagne bar (first rate service), the impressive maid service (extra coffee sachets requested were brought in no time) or the wonderful atmosphere in the atrium or being the perfect location for the best of London - The Landmark excels at providing the best. We would highly recommend and we look forward to our next stay!

Always had such wonderful afternoon teas here. The best part about The Landmark is the service from all members of staff. We recently booked a full day spa treatment and although the treatments were good, the spa itself really needs an update. The facilities look quite dated and tired. If you’re after a good spa with a decent sized pool The Lanesborough is excellent.

We stayed at this incredible hotel for the weekend, myself, wife and two children. Right from the moment we were welcomed into the hotel by the brilliant doorman and concierge team, the experience throughout the entire stay was nothing short of flawless. We stayed in the family room which was very spacious, amazingly set up and very comfortable for the whole family. The standard and the attention to detail by the cleaning team was nothing short of 5*. The hotel itself with all its facilities was brilliant as well and we relaxed frequently in the piazza area which has an excellent range of options for all from relaxing to the provision of high quality food and beverage. The swimming pool, gym and spa area plus the staff that serviced our family were absolutely brilliant. The pool was great, really well kept and tidy, the sauna and hot tub, top notch. We will definitely be back to the Landmark and highly recommend this hotel to families that are interested in staying at a 5* and superbly maintained and serviced establishment.

Service was very attentive especially wine during our Christmas meal. Food was delicious and looked beautiful. My slow cooked beef was a bit dry and I would have preferred ice cream with the plum cake.

The service was excellent!😃 This hotel and it’s cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide drink list and wonderful dessert. I have been there for my birthday and it was completely an awesome experience. Thanks to Mr Orton and his full team… I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

We stayed here as our mini-moon for a weekend. The staff were very attentive, Kamel in particular was very kind and welcoming. The food were delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Breakfast had a lot to offer and choices and again, very quick and lovely service and food. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The extra attention to detail and dedicated card did not go unnoticed. Overall, a very pleasant stay to celebrate our wedding!

This is really a lovely hotel. We had a wonderful experience staying in one of the Marylebone suites. This would have been a five star experience if it weren’t for our very last interaction with Concierge. We were told the night before we left that we could either navigate towards the back of the hotel to find a taxi or we could come to the concierge and ask for assistance in the morning. When we got to the concierge desk we were told that we needed to navigate to the back of the hotel as it was much easier to get a taxi from there. We asked for directions and were told to just head towards the back of the building. We ended up having to navigate a labyrinth of an active business conference where conference attendees ended up showing us where we needed to go. We had to do this with several pieces of large luggage and our baby in a stroller. The concierge did not offer to help us get to the taxi queue or offer a luggage cart. Once we arrived to the taxi queue, there were no available taxis and we had to wait about 10 minutes. We would stay here again since it is such a nice place and in a great location. The room was beautiful and clean. They provided a crib for our daughter. Comfortable bed and furniture, wonderful shower water pressure. We ordered room service one night and the food was very tasty. We would certainly recommend staying here but plan ahead for taxi service if needed.

Stayed there a couple of times and every time it was absolutely fantastic. Very spacious room and bathroom (we had the family suite). The Spa is amazing there. The food was excellent... I had their homemade tagliatelle with mushrooms and was delicious. Their breakfast is incredible and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Jose looked after us at breakfast and he was just wonderful. The whole experience at the Landmark was each time really special thanks to their fantastic team. Can't wait to visit again. Highly recommend this hotel for everyone looking for top quality accommodation.

Afternoon tea here was okay with good service from the waiters and the setting is very pretty. Personally the desserts and sandwiches are a bit over priced for what you get and have had better elsewhere. I was also disappointed that a hotel didn’t have a room where I could pray meaning we had to leave earlier

The landmark is a stunning restaurant with a lovely conservatory courtyard offering a great range of opportunities to eat drink or let the world go by. We went to the winter garden restaurant for afternoon tea a couple of times now and it's definitely one of the best in London - piano live music included! The service is quick, friendly and always there to help or refill your sandwich plate or tea. The food is delicious and thoughtfully put together. If you're local or around check it out! Make sure to book well in advance !

Room: large, clean, love that the toilet is in a room of its own in the bathroom. Huge bed was fluffy and so, so comfortable. Complementary chocolates when you arrive and water in the room. Beautiful views. Service: the staff were kind, polite, always anticipating your needs, prompt and professional. Spa: currently a pop up, but felt luxurious all the same. Fantastic staff. Hotel common areas: stunningly beautiful. The flower arrangements are out of this world Food/drink:

Went for afternoon tea - absolutely delicious, probably a new favourite in London for me. The sandwiches were classic, very fresh, and replenished as desired. The scones were fluffy, served with a variety of jams (rhubarb and vanilla or chocolate crémeux were my faves). The pastries were creative, beautiful, flavoursome. Delightful and totally living up to the hype of the bake off professionals winners!

A lovely visit for an afternoon high tea with my girlfriends. They had a great selection of tasty scones, teas and sandwiches. We also loved the harp music. Overall, would recommend it!

Obviously it's the landmark and it's reputation precedes it .That being said it's £600 a night type of hotel and it's worth it! Very professional and super courteous staff. Interestingly 🤔 enough I did observe a few guests who were dressed very casual but this didn't detract from the ambiance and almost felt kinda hip? Great location for tourists. Namaste _/\_

Perfect stay - a true five star experience. The winter garden is one of the nicest spaces I have ever been in. The team went out of the way to make our stay even more special. The location is a fantastic base to explore London from; right opposite Marylebone tube, but with many things within walking distance anyway.

Classic premium-level English hotel. Clean rooms and an overall elegant appearance. High-standard service. A great place for events, with several options in the ballrooms. A world-class cocktail bar and a cozy pub. The price/quality ratio is good at the restaurants too. You can enjoy breakfast in the grand palm yard or have it at the pub if you're not ready to sit down in the morning. It's not a modern hotel; it's a timeless classic. A very nice neighborhood to go for a morning run.

Everything is to perfection. The staff was the liveliest and most welcoming of all. They made me feel like a Queen during my stay from opening our doors to the dining area especially Anca and Zoltan. Definitely recommend staying here. Feels like home away from home with the beautiful atrium and lovely ambiance of the hotel. 10/10 recommend to stay here

Thank you to the concierge team for helping us with our various needs. Whether it's trying to make reservations at a restaurant or holding on to our packages. Jakob and Mars, we greatly appreciate all your efforts. The location of our room was fantastic. No loud noises and the air con compared to the other rooms we have stayed in previously was much better. We loved grabbing a coffee across the street and taking the tube to the places we needed to go. This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel and unfortunately it's been a common theme that during our stay our rooms were not cleaned properly. Used coffee cups and spoons, etc. Nothing was replenished unless I called. This included a vanity set and shower cap and water on a daily basis. Sink basin had been dirty upon arrival and by the time we left. Old biscuits were the same as the ones we received 5 or 6 days prior. There are 3 drawers in the entire room. I asked for about 10 hangers and draped a towel over an ironing board for extra shelf space. Bath towels have been very poor. The team is great but the rooms really need updating. Possibly rearranging tables and lamps and drawers to be more accommodating for families, especially if one was staying in a suite.

Possibly the worst service ever received from a luxury hotel. I found used lingerie in my room. I understand mistakes can happen and was willing to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt. What shocked me most was the way the hotel dealt with it….after the lingerie was returned to the guest we were offered a discounted rate….every time we ask to use the discount despite trying to book months in advance it took many weeks for the manager to reply and it was the same response every time “sorry we are fully booked”. My partners special birthday was ruined don’t care about the money it’s moments we won’t get back :(. 5 star hotel with 1 star service. I will never stay at this hotel again and would advise anyone to not take the risk

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any stay. This site will compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of my favorites in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't be let down. Brilliant hotel. Lovely ambience. Staff throughout were great. Really enjoyed afternoon tea and breakfast. We evening had the chance to try out the spa which was well managed. Cocktails in bar were also fab.

I booked a nights stay for my parents and their friends to celebrate their Diamond Wedding Anniversary and advised the Hotel of this special occasion. The hotel went above and beyond in helping them celebrate and taking care of them. The whole experience made them feel extremely special for the short time they stayed at the Hotel. A big thank you to all the team at The Landmark

We went for afternoon drinks on a Monday and were not residents of the hotel. The setting and architecture/design of the hotel are both beautiful. Where the stars come off is for the service - the staff, overall, weren’t very friendly nor particularly attentive. The cocktails were nice enough, but we weren’t made to feel very welcome.

Fantastic stay in a stunning venue! The staff right from check in to check out were amazing, constantly checking if there was anything they could do for us. It was our wedding night so on arrival we were upgraded to a suite which was huge!! The breakfast buffet was brilliant with so much choice to choose from. We also visited the spa and this completed our stay, everything was smooth and stress free. Will definitely be back!! Thank you to the team at Landmark London for making this truly unforgettable!

I had a lovely 'afternoon tea' here with friends and family. The building is an amazing mix of modern and classic European architecture. Very grand in its design features. The restaurant, located in the atrium is ironically called 'The Winter Gardens' but feels very much like summer with it's full size palm trees and sunlight shining through it's massive glass roof. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious and very well presented. I would definitely go again.

Visited The Winter Garden Restaurant at The Landmark over the weekend. We had an exceptional time, the staff were immensely thoughtful and attentive. Special thanks to Kamal who sourced some mash potato from the kitchen for my baby nephew as we devoured our sandwiches. Overall an excellent experience! Thank you to Kama and his team.

Stayed at The Landmark hotel and also ate at the Garden restaurant. For the reputation this hotel has, the service wasn’t great and the food certainly matched that. Lacked character, flavour just BLAND. So bad I didn’t even bother with the breakfast and got a deliveroo. The decor of the hotel is simply amazing, the room was beautiful. In fact the whole hotel is very aesthetically pleasing. Location is great. However, won’t be staying again.

Terrible bar service, really disappointing for the quality of the place it claims to be.. we came here to have a drink to celebrate my friends wedding.. and manager Tatiana decided not to serve us ruining what should have been a perfect end of a very special day.. never mind our desire to order champagnes and actually make money for the hotel Very disappointing experience

This gorgeous venue is worth visiting during Christmas for afternoon tea. Everything was so fresh and delicious and the ambiance was so lovely. The interior is stunning and the staff are so friendly & professional.

Afternoon tea was an amazing experience. The staff were attentive. So many options of tea to choose from but I wish they allowed you to try other flavours. Sandwiches were good, you can get as many as you like. Scones were freshly baked and warm when it came out. The variety of desserts that came with it was great too. Starts at £58 plus service charge per person

We came for the Christmas afternoon tea, the tea, pastries and sandwiches were top notch. We were served coronation chicken sandwiches, Yule log pastries and traditional landmark in house tea which was exceptional. Another positive point was the chicken served was halal.

The best customer service ever! Booked a birthday dinner here and it was the best decision made! The service was impeccable. Such a lovely team, very friendly & helpful. The food was great and the venue speaks for its self its spectacular. Booking from the start was a breeze! The booking was for 16 people but it was so highly organised and well prepared that it wasn't stressful. Compared to other places I tried to book with previously! Thanks again!

Stayed here in October as I was getting married in The Old Marylebone Town hall. The one star is because of the lack of security this hotel has in place. They handed our room key to one of the guests without authorisation or asking for any identification. The individual just said they’re here for room 137 and they simply handed the key over. I was startled to see the individual walk in whilst I was getting ready. I flagged this to reception and they said they’ll get the manager to call us. 2 months and many chasers but no contact as yet.

We just finished our buffet breakfast at the hotel and it was just fantastic and exquisite. From start to finish the welcome, food quality and staff member service were brilliant especially from Rosario. Highly recommended. Superb environment too. We will come back for sure. The hotel is amazing also the company of buffet, I don’t have anything bad to say about the food. But the managers team need to learn how to be kind with they staff members. They forget why and as much needs to have the staff team happy, working and great at any job to keep they they “manager position”. Thanks

Half way through my stay and a little disappointed so far. Paid over £400 for a room and wanted something rather luxurious. The room was nice, but nothing special. I booked as I wanted to use the spa facilities. I was expecting something quite high end, but felt more like a leisure centre. Lots of children in the pool too. To be fair to the hotel they did advertise a kid friendly zone from 3-5, but I was staggered to see how many adults brought their children to a central London hotel. Far from relaxing!

This has got to be my favourite hotel at this price point. The service is fantastic; highly professional and high class. The rooms are great, although there are differences between them depending which you stay in. The breakfast/brunch is fantastic and I can't recommend the passion fruit smoothy highly enough! The location is fantastic. Right next to Marylebone station. Secure private parking is available. The evening menus aren't as exciting or value for money as the breakfast/brunch is. You can still eat or drink here without staying. I'd recommend it for a nice or special occasion.

Exceeded Expectations, hotel and staff 5 🌟 The atrium is stunningly beautiful! Recently stayed with family at The Landmark Hotel, my personal first time in London. From the moment I stepped into the hotel and was greeted by the staff, I knew I was in for a delightful stay. The concierge and team gave the warmest welcome, our room was impeccable and our dining experiences from the Winter Garden Restaurant and the Great Central Bar were delicious. We had a lengthy stay and enjoyed getting to know the staff. Rupert was one that set the bar for hospitality at our first meeting! The entire team was just as warm and knowledgeable. I also recommend the high tea at Winter Garden Restauant with the tea especially blended for their brand. I look forward to a return visit very soon, thank you for a memorable stay!

What an absolutely incredible place to stay in London. Amazing family room, certainly the most spacious I have enjoyed in the city. Staff are supper attentive, right from the cleaners up to management, nothing was too much trouble. A big shout out to Kamel who ran the breakfast service this morning in the winter garden, very charming with a great sense of humour, he struck the balance of being so professional, yet so charming and helpful, he is a credit to the landmark. Couple together with a great spa, the landmark truly is one of the premier hotels in the city. To all at the landmark, keep up the great work...can't wait to stay here again soon.

A hotel of obvious class and quality but missing in some details. The staff were impeccable and friendly, the centre of the building is a stunning atrium with palm trees and piano. The room was comfortable and furnished to a high standard with an all marble bathroom. My main issue is the layout of the 'Mirror bar'. A classy design but the access to the customer clashes with the staff entrances to the kitchen and bar area resulting in the customer being shuffled about. But it's one issue in an otherwise outstanding hotel deserving of its name.
