The island view from the summit makes this hike special. This mountain is in Khorfakkan which in itself ia a beautiful place. Down you can park your car and start the hike upto whatever distance you want, and you will get the full city view and the view of a beautiful khorfakkan island. The steeps are a bit on a higher side but you can rest in between and the path is raw so expect dust while hiking. 😊 It's worth it.

I love Al Rabi Mountain! And mostly try to go there during week days because during the weekends the parking on top is full and you'll have to park below and work your way up to the tower and then start the hike so it's kind of annoying 😅 The view near the Rabi tower is great! You see a magnificent view of the Khorfakkan beach and port and Rabi mountain! So recommended for sure! We go there to walk mostly and sometimes visit the café there (the view) which is a good café with good coffee and (you guessed it) a good view

It's not the tower which I'm giving 5 stars for ( it's not much to see or be impressed with) - it's the al Rabi hiking trail that starts from there! Gorgeous mountain, with it's greenery and well marked and set up trail. Bottom of the trail would be quite busy with the visitors, but only those with proper shoes and perseverance would go up to the very summit, so up there it's only few fellow trekkers. We had our 4 and 9 year old kids hike up to the very top, so I'd say it's a suitable hike for beginners alike. It's not a loop, although one peak can be hiked around rather than up and down - but I wouldn't miss that up and down, as you get to see the other side of khorfakkan. Hidden beach I believe? Totally worth it. One of my favourite hikes for sure, coming back another time! P.s. some graffiti pollution is there on the rocks, unfortunately...

The area around the tower is a good hiking place of around 2 kilometres uphill. Nice city view and ocean view from the top. Plan your trip early enough so that you can complete the hiking before it gets dark. Little difficult to find the place while following Google maps. Al Rabi tower is a fort that was a part of defence network in khorfakkan. The tower was used to send warnings to nearby watch towers.🛕🏞️

Beautiful Hike, connect it with seeing the old part inkl. Museum of the beautiful City. I call it the white Pearl resting between Moutains and the Sea. "Khorfakkan" as well i regomend to visit Rafisah Dam and enjoy some Kayaking. Rafisah Dam to Suhub Rest House hike is as well a beautiful option. There's much more to discover.

Very challenging hiking trail. Great exercise spot. Keep water and take rest in between trekking. Its a long trek. View from the top is very amazing. Heavy/regular smoker have to be very cautious about their physical condition while trekking. I was totally breathless.

Basically there is 2 mountains u can hike on , 1 mountain takes around 1 hour to climb up, preferably to go early morning, I went around 11AM and it was a bit hot but the cold winds helped 😀 Take water and snacks with u The views are perfect and the hiking track also is good Will come back again definitely

Don't get confused with the entrance if you missed it you have to go around again. There's a toilet at the start point at the view restaurant so don't worry and just enjoy the mini hike.

The place was no doubt amazing! It has great views of Khorfukkan, the food was delicious specially their pasta is extremely creamy and even the chicken breast on top was not very dry, tacos were also crispy and tasty, lotus cake was fabulous and the burger was just fine. Their pasta is a must! Parking might be an issue if going on a weekend. Definitely going back as its a good place after a long drive!

There is right pointers to the Al Rabi fort area from the main road. a steep hill drive and you can park the car near the fort.(parking spots are few and spot can get crowded in weekends). so on that case you can park in the base area and walk toward the watch tower area and enjoy majestic views. Then from the watch tower area start the 2.6km mountain hiking spot. It will take 1 approx 1.5hrs to do the entire hike. Path is well made, but will be little difficult to do with the kids.
