I am jot really a fan of Aurangzeb so was bit sceptical about visit this place. If you are one such person then you can visit it for zainuddin dargah. It's quite surprising that Aurangzeb himself wished to be buried this way. It's a quite small place and very peaceful. Other than the namaz timings not much crowd can be found here. It is is khuldabad town of aurangabad district. U can take an auto to reach here

One of the peaceful place I've visited after a very long time.it is tomb of Emperor Aurangzeb. It was his wish that his grave shoud be simple & much money should not be spent for his grave. The place is peaceful & huge & 5 time prayers is held. Many people visit the place & details are provided about the place.

The tomb of Aurangzeb is a simple yet significant historical site. Ruling the Indian kingdom for about half a century till he died in 1707 AD, Aurangzeb was the last Mughal emperor. History has it that it was his last wish that he be laid to rest near the dargah of Sheikh Zainuddin, his spiritual guru.

The tomb of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb is licated in Khultabad. He was one of the most prowerful of his times. It was his wish that his grave should be simple and it was later decorated by Lord Curzon the Viceroy of then British India. He had ruled for around 50 years, and he died in Ahmednagar. He had ruled Aurangabad for a long number of years, under his father Shah Jahan, and Aurangabad has the authenticity of Aurangzeb, and he felt he belonged to this area of the country. The place is very scerene and is inside a small lane in Khultabad. It is not very popular area and if your walking from the main taxi stand it will be a walk for around 10 mins. You can easily visit this place when you come from Ellora caves, take a taxi for Khultabad stand and walk or come by car. Need less to way as it is a religious place one is expected to dress properly.

Aurangazeb's tomb is roughly 20 kms away from Aurangabad city, on Ghrushneshwar side. One can get taxi / rikshaw or bus to visit here. Neat & clean place. There are tombs of his Guru, his wife & his son nearby in the same campus. Parking outside on road. Few vendors inside. Staff explain every thing to visitors.

A historic, Peaceful Place, located in Khuldabad 8 km far from Daultabad Fort. I personally felt peace their. Nice place for spending time with your own spirit and spiritual things, The Grave of Great Emperor of India 'Aurangzeb' still in its actual form exist. There is also shirin of Khuwaja and Aurangzeb's Son Ahmed Shah.

Simple tomb. No entry fee. The area has some more tombs of Chisti saints and Aurangzeb's son. Try Khaja, a Khuldabad special dessert and some bakery items.

A very simple and austere tomb for such a great emperor. Apparently at per his own wish. Even the paltry decoration at the tomb was done by the Nizam of Hyderabad, as per desire of Lord Curzon.

Hot topic to touch on these days. Muslims are supposed to visit graves to remind themselves of what'll be their fate too eventually. So, if that's your intention go for it. The grave itself is very modest. Not what one would imagine would be the resting place of an emperor. More of a spiritual place than anything else. Not for everyone, I guess.

Should I praise this rested emperior contributed to unified the Indian sub continent eventually handed over to britishers Or should I defame his name as disgrace emperor who has destroyed All Indian hindu Indian heritages, in ruthlessly promoting of Islam or should prise him for his simplicity, even though one of the powerful emperor in Indian history.

A spritual place for a great leader & just ruler, a lesson worth noting that inspite of being a wealthy ruler at his time Emperor Aurangzeb led a simple life & is buried like everyone else like no matter what you are in your life you always end up in dust just like everyone else.

It is a resting place of The great Mughal Emperor Abul Muzaffar Muhiuddin Muhammad Aurangzeb Alamgir. Though he was the most powerful king of India but lived a simple life, he doesn't believe in wasting government treasures on making big tombs on graves or statues like other kings instead he commanded his sons and ministers to use that money for the betterment of poor people and country. His grave was very simple which was constructed from his own money i.e below 15 INR of that time. Though he was controlling the 25% GDP of the entire world but he had only 311 INR as his personal money which he earned by selling the copy of his hand written Quraan and that too donated for orphan and poor people. India never got such a king who lived his entire life as a servant of people. Salute to such a beautiful soul. I highly recommend visiting this place whenever you come to visit the beautiful city Aurangabad which is constructed by the great emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir rh. (May God's mercy be upon him)

The Tomb of Aurangzeb, the last of the strong Mughal emperors, is located in Khuldabad, Zainuddinand also Khaja Burahan chishti Aurangabad district, Maharashtra, India. In notable contrast to other Mughal tombs, which are large monuments of Mughal architecture, including the Taj Mahal, at his own direction Aurangzeb is buried in an unmarked grave at the complex of the dargah or shrine of Sheikh Zainuddin

As per the British books and record Aurangzeb was one of the Bravest Patriots India have Produced. Under his Kingdom he bought peace, simplicity, Equal human consideration,0 tolerance for unfair means and much more was proven after looking at his tomb.
