The abundance of empty tables on a friday evening shouldve alerted me to the quality of the restuarant - I admit, I did not research the reviews, and was hoping for a lively atmosphere. The second clue was the wait staff dont speak Thai (using greetings like sawasdee are met with blank faces of bewilderment) Next was the serving of beer that is beyond its 'best before' date - with no other beer on premises to accomodate this (ie: within the 'best before date'), we had to resort to coke - things are really looking good Finally, although we had a table for 4-person, when the meals arrived, we need an extra chair to accomodate the cockroach who decided to dine with us. The cockroach was not on the menu, we didnt even order it as a special item Sarcasm aside, it gives an indication of the hygiene of the kitchen and the overall premises - the staff even argued about how to resolve this: eg, just removing it (ha, no thanks!), re-make it (not from that kitchen) and our appetites have disappeared We eventually left with paying for what we consumed - did we enjoy it? would we come back? would we recommend it to our friends? - Only if our friends worked in the Department of Health

Disappointing to say the least, poor food quality, tasteless. Ordered a simple chilli basil fried rice, the dish was floating in oil and had no flavour, just burnt oil rice with a few pieces of chicken and red chillies.

It’s a Sunday night, we walked in and sat down on the balcony. We were the only people in the restaurant besides staff. My wife said quick check the google reviews. Oops. Just 2.7. Should we leave? We are glad we didn’t. The waiter lacked a bit of personality, though the food was delivered quickly and was good. We had Chicken Wings and Curry Puffs for entree and Crying Tiger and Thai Beef Fried Rice. We would certainly go back again.

I've walked past this place for the past 2 years thinking surely it can't be 2.3 stars given that it hasn't closed down etc.. So we decided to give it a try! It was relatively busy for what it usually looks like. We were greeted with smiles upon entry, food came out super fast, cheaper than other Thai places around and decent portion size so that one doesn't waddle and expand in waist circumference on the way out. In terms of taste, it's the usual Thai flavour and i did not cop a peanut allergic reaction in which I was half expecting. Worth going back for the cheap Thai & people watching.

It was the only place that opened on xmas 2021 so we ate here. Was a bit hesitant when seeing the rating was only 2.7, but still gave it a try. Food and service were both ok though nothing much surprising. Meals start from $10.

Very unprofessional restaurant with unfriendly staff. Terrible service, did not feel welcome at all! Food was okay, nothing special. The basil fried rice was way too spicy - it was inedible. Made us order 6 dishes when we only wanted 5? Kept clearing plates without asking if we had finished eating. Overall a terrible experience, avoid if possible!!

Wow this place is so tasty. Such authentic Thai food. Flavours were on point and well balanced. Highlights were the prawn Tom yum, beef massaman and the Pad Thai. All these dishes hit the mark for us. Service was quick and easy. No way does this place deserve such a low rating. You are missing out!

We had Dinner at this Restaurant a few days ago on a trip to Kiama. It sure was a negative experience from the time we walked into the Restaurant, the waiter who showed us to our table (we booked) didn't seem friendly and the food was outrageously spicy and the portions size was very small, it lacked flavor, color and taste, just screaming hot. We do love hot food but this was like Fire breathing Hot.

Some tasty Thai food and a nice balcony with views down the main street of Kiama. I have a very tasty Tom Kha Gai coconut soup which had lovely fresh flavours. Also had the Thai Beef Salad which had a real spicy kick to it. Very nice

Quite authentic Thai food in Australia. I usually find some Thai place too sweet maybe they were adapted to Aussie taste but this one is actually really good and spicy 🔥 It's a bit pricey but the food comes very fast and has a nice balcony with a good view. The owner filled our bottle of water when they noticed it's empty.

I know good place has some bad reviews, but I seriously wonder if they are from the other Thai restaurants in town, trying to get people to avoid this restaurant. I think the food here is great. I have never had a bad meal. Sure the restaurant is very basic, but my experiences have always been positive. They also have lots of GLUTEN FREE options. I really rate this restaurant

I don't know what was happening staff wise today, only one staff member in front of house, cleaning and waiting tables. He seemed stressed and overworked. Meal was delicious but small ( lunch time special). I'd order off main menu next time or add entre. Designated front of house would make a welcoming and less stressed environment.

We got the $10 lunch special and discovered why it was $10. The food is good but grab an entree or two, cos they are small portions as well.

The service was extremely quick, I ordered Spring Rolls and Pad Thai with chicken( takeaway) , both dishes were delicious.

Where to begin. We walked in and a man appeared. He showed us to a sticky table and put 4 menus in front of us. We were the only ones in there. He had a cold sore on his top lip covered in a white cream which didn't look great. We ordered and the meals arrived. Instead of putting meals in front of the diner he shoved the plate I was having Infront of my friends for me to take. We ordered four cokes. No glasses just straws that he brought over in his hand. When we didn't use the straws, he collected them and put them back in the container. The "Lunchtime Special" was served on bread-and-butter plates and the food was sloppy. The carpet was all stained too and he was so nasty and did not smile once we couldn't wait to leave. How the hell they are still in business is beyond me. My advice is don't waste your money.

Picked this place after long Trip to a Kiama Lighthouse. Was looking for some Halal options. Our choice was a Tom Yum fried rice (and one more different type), plus Calamari stir fry salad (?). Food was good enough. Fried Rice portions were pretty decent, but calamari stir fry salad portion was not as we were expecting. The gentleman (as somebody in reviews mentioned before, definitely has some personality) who was serving us our food took away every empty(?) dishes, even tho some of us were using it for shrimp shells. Leaving table in front of us almost empty. Overall due to awkward atmosphere/situation we couldn’t feel ourselves comfortable.

My husband and i are visitors to the area and we we keen to try it The reviews are very mixed, but we could not fault the food or service. I think the issue may be that the carpet is rather old and shabby, and i am thinking that people on a dress to impress date night may want something fancier. We would definitely go back for the food which we paired with Singha beer.

Walk in the restaurant saw the stained carpets, one of the staff sitting in one of the chairs with her feet up, no greetings when got in, no smile. Went outside cos the inside looks dirty, and smell of uncleaned carpet, outside tables were old and sticky. We ordered food, and the man taking order had no patience. didnt offer us water for a start. Food came didnt taste like thai food at all. and asked us to leave as soon as we finished our food because they’re closing at 3 pm. Please dont buy food here or dine in this restaurant ! no service!! Very rude staff.. i wonder what the kitchen is like since the restaurant itself is dirty!!! I hope some food and health safety agency will come and check this restaurant.
