Mostly a nice room but like many motel rooms, the mattress was incredibly old and had large indents, making for an incredibly uncomfortable sleep, so much so, that I had to sleep on the floor on my camping mat. When we asked reception at 11am, what might be a good time to be out of the room while it was made up for our second night, the lady said she didn’t know and seemed disinterested in finding out, while walking backwards away from me, into a storage room near the reception office. I asked the cleaners themselves and they became defensive about their time and the quantity of work they had to complete. Our only concern was to be out of their way when they were ready to tidy our room.

Lovely newly renovated, no mobile charger, hallway very noisy you can hear people walking and talking. Maybe hallway should be carpeted.

Very central, the only good thing about this motel. Room overlooking a dirty carpark and a huge construction site very noisy work started at 7.00am, no chance to sleep in. bathroom needs a good clean. There are so many more far superior accommodation in the area and around the same price. First and last time staying in this overpriced motel

On our second visit to Kiama we decided to stay at this Motel once again and WOW the upgrade/ reno that has been done is just awesome, the rooms are just beautiful with very comfy beds with good facilities in the room too. The Motel is very close to all the local shops/ Restaurants, Clubs and Pubs too. It is also walking distance to the attractions too like the Blowhole. Very friendly service, Motel Receptionist Julia was always happy to have a chat with you. Well worth a visit and very affordable too.

Excellent customer service. The place has been updated and it looks amazing. Having the little kitchenette in the room is such a bonus. The beds are so comfortable to. Will definitely be coming back.

Rooms were better than expected. Large and clean. A bit pricey but really can’t fault anything, and staff were very friendly and helpful. 5 minutes’ walk to the shore.

I am so impressed with my stay here! Initially my partner accidentally booked us for the wrong night, and reception very kindly moved it to the correct day after checking if we were arriving. Reception area is lovely and staff were friendly. The room and bathroom were generously sized, beautifully renovated and spotlessly clean. The parking is great and the motel is located within a short walk to restaurants and shops, and you can just see the ocean from the second floor. The bed was definitely on the softer, more plush side - this however suites me well. I had a great sleep! The traffic does pick up at peak times, which you can notice, but it dies off when you're ready to call it a night. I think the pricing is very reasonable taking this all into account, I have stayed at much older and shoddier places for the same amount a night. I would 100% stay again if ever down this way!

Stayed overnight at the Kiama Shores and could not have been happier with our accommodation. The room size was to our satisfaction, the linen crisp & clean, the towels fresh & white and the whole experience was friendly and welcoming. Many thanks Kiama Shores

Kiama Shores was a stop over for one night on our coastal road trip. Our room was fantastic, lovely and clean with great facilities. Staff very friendly.

Nicely refurbished rooms, located right in town with easy walk to shops and eateries. Short walk to blow holes. Very comfortable bed. Unfortunately front rooms suffer from a bit of external road noise.

Spent two nights over the weekend. Good room. Worst thing is the rain shower which I hate. At least they should allow for a hand held shower option. Will not return unless there is a handheld shower option.

What an amazing stay, right near the main street and beaches of Kiama. The renovations helped upgrade this place to hotel quality. The beds were so comfy (I did not want to get up) and the bathrooms were so nice and beautifully done. You can tell there were still some aspects from the original build (eg. the light in the main room that didn't work very well) but it didn't impact our stay at all. Free laundry facilities (fantastic for travellers) as well as a short walk to the beach and main street. This has everything you need to make your stay in Kiama comfortable. The customer service here was great as well. The workers were extremely accommodating as we had to book last minute, as well as allowing us to store our bags for the day. A Clean, Comfortable and hotel-like stay that's well worth the price

Loved the location, with good parking at rear, so close to all shops, restaurants and everything. Loved the seaview from 1st floor balcony. Loved the spa bath, but one jet not working. Loved the bed and pillows, so comfortable. Friendly staff. Good value for $$, as its a bit older but has been upgraded. We will be back. Can be a bit noisy, but closed sliding doors and pulled heavy curtains across and then very quiet. No lift, stairs only, but not steep.

Fantastic place, clean, friendly helpful staff. Beautiful lounges by the pool. Rooms look as though they have recently been renovated. Highly recommend, especially for the price

Nicely decorated reception area, the ladies booking us in were friendly and helpful. The room was newly renovated, clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and the small kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. Location was excellent, close to shops, cafes, the harbour and beaches.

First in the room since renovation so some minor issues that were dealt with quickly by extra friendly staff. Super comfortable bed. Huge TV, double sink bathroom, quiet cool and at a good price. Great location to about 7 restaurants and pubs. Recommended

Newly renovated and comfortable. The high rating isn't just because it's good for the price, it was a genuinely comfortable stay. The essentials: 1. Clean - all surfaces, floor and bedding feel super clean so it's easy to relax! 2. Bed comfy and location not noisy 3. Shower has good pressure 4. Practical kitchenette facilities including kettle, utensils, basic kitchen items and a small sitting area 5. Easy parking and close to town Bonus free cookies always win me over too :) The staff were super lovely and I really enjoyed my stay. I wasn't 100% sure if I would like the accommodation due to some outdated photos on the internet but I was proven wrong! Well worth a re-book 😊

Dismal, cancelled our booking of two rooms over a long weekend, with a voice mail message left on our phone as the only contact, they have our email. In total our group had 4 rooms booked so we all madly rushing to book elsewhere, this booking had been made 6 months ago.

We had a lovely stay, the room was everting expected, clean, tidy and great size. The room had all required facilities (42inch modern HD TV, Air Con, bar fridge, coffee making facilities, wine glasses etc), , nice comfortable lounge, nice size modern tv. Plenty of off street safe parking. A standout for us was how extremely friendly and helpful the staff were. Location was fantastic, close walking distance to everything in Kiama. We would definitely recommend Kiama Shores 😀

Kiama Shores is a great place to stay on your trip because it’s very centrally located so you can peruse around Kiama easily. Heaps of restaurants and places to go around here. The reception staff are lovely, there is a shared washer/dryer for you to wash clothes, and the housekeeping cleaners are amazing! The king spa room was great because the spa was an experience worth looking forward to. The only thing I’d note about Kiama Shores is the bed. Many reviews here say the bed is comfortable because it’s soft and spacious. The downside is it’s not very supportive for good posture and back support so I’ve had to sleep on the couch half the trip for the firmer ergonomic support. I’d definitely love to support Kiama Shores again next time I visit Kiama, so would love to know if there’d be an option to choose a room with a firmer bed - apart from that, everything about this place was great and for the price we paid for the king spa room as well.

Fantastic as always. Staff very friendly, helpful and very down to earth, happy to stop for a chat and to share there knowledge of the area. We stayed for 5 nights in a King spa room on the 2nd floor looking over the pool area, which was always kept nice and clean, the rooms have been renovated since our last stay and are looking very fresh and clean. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning and WIFI were brilliant, the rooms were quite and even though we were close to the stairwell the only real noise we heard at night were other guests coming and going, some were noisy at times, but that's life. The location was perfect and it was nice to be able to walk everywhere would definitely recommend Kiama Shores, and will return again next year. Its not 5 stars so don't expect it to be and then turn around and complain via a review.

We loved our little getaway at Kiama Shores. This is our third time staying here and we always love it. The staff are so amazing and friendly. They gave us such a great price for our stay. Our kids loved the pool and didn’t want to leave! It is an amazing location, rarely needed to drive anywhere as everything was in walking distance. Already organising when we will be back!

Our family of 4 and another family of 4 friends of ours stayed here for the first time and had a wonderful experience! Clean large family rooms with lovely fun and accommodating staff. It's super central with everything within a couple of mins' walk. The pool is a great size and the kids had a ball. My only feedback is that it would be nice to have an outdoor seating area but other than that, highly recommend!

Pauline was lovely. She’s so easy to deal with when making the booking. Upon arrival I was greeted by Matt and Pauline and were very warm and welcoming. Room is spacious and very clean. Enjoyed the dip in the pool. Location of the hotel is walking distance to the beach and cafes. Overall stay was great. Thanks Pauline!
