It has a great view and a pool. You can tell that the building itself is old but has been really well maintained and improved. Service is also good. I loved the pizza and the music. Plan for Wednesdays.

You need to try the mushroom sauce, it has to be the best mushroom sauce i have tasted. The food is great. Really tasty and looks good. The arrangement on the plate and food aesthetics is good. It is a really nice atmosphere, it could be better though. The service, though good but it was slow, really slow we had to wait for a long time to get our drinks and food. It has a nice view of the city and kids would love it here , there is a pool, a laser tag arena and a football pitch.

Overall, not very impressed by this restaurant, which caters to a mostly tourist/expat crowd. The service was exceptionally slow and chaotic. It took nearly an hour to get our pizza and they brought the wrong one. The bill had lots of items that we didn’t order—took time to sort that out. The food was average, nothing special. People come here for the view and drinks but I think there are better options in Kigali.

Views great. Setting, beautiful. Ascetics, on point. On this day, food dine in was 😤😤😤😤😑😑😑😑 The chips tasted and looked over fried and fried severally that it no longer looked fresh or tasted fresh. The bread served with soup was dry and we suspect it wasn’t a fresh bread We couldn’t finish the food but because we were extremely hungry we tried and when we complained and showed, only 5% discount with no apology was offered…. Price of meals for dine in? 🥊🥊🥊🥊

That was one of the best restaurants/lounges that I have ever visited worldwide. The drinks and music were both outstanding. The food was equally as great. The view of Kigali, at night, from the restaurant was AWESOME. When I return to Kigali, I will definitely hit up Pili Pili.

1, The Spaghetti Spicy Meatballs I ate was dead. Therefore, tasteless, sour and it lacked spices. 2, No Value For Money. 3, Most of the Chairs are weak and worn-out. 4, Their dstv is not high definition. Thereby, making football viewing uninteresting and unattractive on the televisions. 5, The Aloha Pineapple Smoothie was manageable. 6, The wooden floors need refurbishment. 7, The Swimming Pool was filthy dirty, an eyesore and a turnoff. 8, The Place needs overhauling. 9, There are no televisions upstairs.

One of the best places to hangout in Kigali You can go anytime of the day and you will find great crowd. Good alcohol as-well as Food options Plus there is this local shop at the entrance which has some pretty cool local stuff / souvenirs that you can pick. Love the entire setup and the view in the evening

There’s opportunity for competition to serve actual paying customers. Tuesday: I was hoping to have dinner then stay on and drink the night at Pili Pili restaurant. It was my first time to visit and it was a bit hard to find. Upon arrival, I was met at the gate by a smiling server who took good care of me. This is where the good experience ends. They didn’t have what I wanted so I had dry pizza after a very long wait. About half way through, the server said her shift was ending and she wanted to close my bill. I paid it. The next shift ignored me. After about 1 hr and 45 min, I got up and walked past all the servers in front of the bar. They acted like they didn’t see me. Sunday: Even though my last experience wasn’t so good, the next was so bad, I’m never going again. I was told Sunday night was good there. I showed up around 9PM. I estimate there were 150 patrons and standing room only. The bar was too crowded to find a place to stand. There were TWO bartenders. I walked around the club hoping to find a server. I walked upstairs, around the pool then to the back. All the tables were occupied but not everyone was drinking either by choice or from poor service. As I walked back to the front toward the bar, Security pushed me as he escorted two other patrons past me. With my mood ruined, I went to the bar and waited a few minutes then gave up. If I can’t get a drink in 45 min, the bar doesn’t need or deserve my business.

We just went to the restaurant, and not the hotel. The views are great. It was a very pleasant place to spend an evening with friends, and feel like you're outside with a view of the hills beyond. They have a good menu with lots of different options. The food isn't special, but pretty good for a pretty basic menu of burgers, pizza, some salads and a few appetizers. We enjoyed it and would go back.

Very beautiful ambience but food was only ok. My steak seemed well done and 'cooked'. I'd expected it to be grilled or pan fried. The waitress was distracted and a little slow

Great location for weekend chilling. Food is really good and the garden atmosphere relaxing. Great view. Just the quality of the playlists/DJs a little inconsistent. Some need to practice a little ;). Otherwise clear recommendation!

A very chilled relaxation spot with variety of food and drinks. It has a beautiful view of the valley below it and an overview of some Kigali's most beautiful landscape. The customer service is also top-notch.

The place looks good, and has a nice view. The food was delicious and they served it fast. Good portions. I recommend this place. It was not on the menu, but they made a vegan tomato pasta for me. This is a good place to bring kids, because they have swings, a small slide and a pool. They played some very good songs, mostly mediocre ones, but they played hand drums over the music which made it way better.

I had quite a good experience here, and what a cool view! But on weekdays there is no big party and dancing, you just have to wait for the friday and the weekend.

Don’t go here on Sundays, it’s normal to have low expectations about the service at Rwandan establishments but this one is quite terrific. We waited hours to get drinks and had to chase down waiters to pay for the bill at the end… big JOKERS

The place looks beautiful at night. The service was good, a bit slow for the drinks but good. Food 10/10! We had a crispy chicken burger & a chicken salad. Both very tasty. Will definitely come back.

Very bad experience, extremely slow service, check what they charge you!!! we ordered a gin&tonic, it came with no ice, no lemon, in.a small water glass with a minimum quantity of gin, they charged us double price because, they said, was a double gin ( never asked for ). We waited over an hour for 2 burgers. We ended out spending a fortune for average food and an indecent drink. Definitely not going back.

This is one place you can't miss partying on Sundays. I prefer my Sundays looking at the view of the hills and eating one of the best pizzas in Kigali! Service has to improve but overall you will not like to leave when the sun is coming down. Sip your cocktails and eat your heart out (Party responsibly!)

Great place to visit in the evening and see the night skyline of Kigali all lit up. The restaurant itself is like a lounge bar and quite happening and generally full. Good pizzas. The bufallo wings were not great. They also have a more fine dining type experience upstairs though we did not try it out.

Nice Quiet area up the hills, but once you arrive inside it opens up to a Fantastic place, lots of seating and tables serviced by Staff,(or order from your table with Barcode scanner).Prices were reasonable.with Free wifi. There is a Huge Screen on the Wall near entrance and televisions all around for Sporting events.Iv been in Pili Pili a few times and enjoyed a few good nights with food.i would certainly recommend a visit.

Beautiful view but the music was so loud I couldn't talk with my friends. We Asked to have it turned down, it was, and then turned up again. The service was slow, but it was busy, so not too bad.

We stayed here for a couple of night. The room was comfortable and well equiped. People were super friendly. Like much in Rwanda service was slow..

The place overlooks a nice view but overall not super. It was too dark at the upper level that you can barely see the menu but they managed go bring a lamp

Nice relaxed place with a good view over Kigali. Drink options are great with a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The food was okay - nothing special.

Great venue with good views. The thatched roof keeps in nice and cool on the sunniest of days. I have eaten several dishes and it has always been tasty. Lunch is a nice low key experience. Evening is usually busy, with lots of entertainment and people.

It was a wonderful night that we went for having a drink after the restrictions has opened. The place was somehow crowded and we managed to find table to sit. The staff was friendly and cooperative. The service was faster than expected. Prices are reasonable and the pizza we ordered was so good and tasty. The pool and the garden gives a nice colour to the restaurant at night with colourful lights. The first floor is a best place to side and chill than the ground floor. The bar looks good and the toilets are clean.

One of the most happening spots in Kigali. Great for watching sports and having a dinner with friends. Pili Pili has a cool loungey vibe with pumping music from a DJ spinning the latest hits. A perfect spot if you feel like a fun evening out.

Great view but horrible service. I wouldn’t recommend if you are hungry because food takes forever. Please train your waiters

Loved loved loved the vibe here. The view of the city at night is magnificent. The music was absolutely on point. The food was tasty though took a while to be ready. Parking space for vehicles was limited. Overall I love the place.

We had a wonderful time here celebrating our friends engagement. The staff is very kind and professional. The food and drinks with both good. I recommend Pili Pili to anyone looking for a chill vibe and a good time.

Good set, music too loud, service very slow. 2 times the waiter came back to tell us that smoothies aren't possible and and a third time because he wasn't sure about the order. We had to wait a lot for the drinks, like 30 minutes and later, 20 extra minutes to get the change after having asked 3 times for the bill at 3 waiters.

If you are looking for a great place to watch the sunset and spend the evening overlooking the nightly Kigali, this is the place to go. They have delicious food and a wonderful outside area. The chairs and tables are a bit uncomfortable, and they don't have a physical menu card. You have to download a PDF file, which is difficult to read, if your eyesight isn't that fresh and sharp anymore. So don't forget to bring your eyeglasses.

What I really like about this restaurant are the view, internal design and the ambiance, although the food quality isn't that good, I ordered fried chicken dish and onion rings, the chicken were over fried so the crust is a little bit burnt and i didn't receive the onion rings at all, however it was listed in the bill,so I asked the waiter to remove ut and so he did, but if i didn't notice i would have paid for it. Edit: the visit date was 23rd of August 2022 between 8:00 and 9:00 PM

Very nice location but sometimes food sometimes takes long. Good steaks and I like the blue cheese burger. It has so much potential with one of the best views over town.

One of the best restaurants I have visited in Kigali so far. Great beach vibe, lovely set up and many amenities from pool, football pitch, urban jungle and a small kids sandy play area. Swimming is free for guests which was a wonderful surprise. The starter portions were big and affordable pricing. Music was great. It was a Saturday and service became slow towards evening when the place got fuller with lots of activities. There's a games corner with several games like cards, jenga and other board games that groups can really enjoy. I didn't like how the samosas were dripping with oil and the beef stuffing had alot of cartilage meat. Ice cream is pricy, 6,000rwf for two small scoops. Generally a lovely place worth visiting with or without children! I will definitely go back.

The place is nice, however the female waitress were extremely slow and took forever everytime we asked for something, don't get me started with the manager: We asked to speak with him for an event we wanted to organize their and they told us he was coming only to find him sitting on his phone checking his Instagram for almost 2 hours no response from him until the Filipino manager (very nice lovely lady) came and helped us.

Beautiful place with very prepared and kind staff. Food was astonishing good and various... Their beef ragout is precious, and this is said by an italian ragout amateur. Very recommended!

Nice pizza. Awesome views! Great ambiance! Our waiter was friendly. A bit concerned about the toilets though, 1st time I went in they were good, but after a couple of hours they were dirty - so this needs more attention.

  • 2/5 Marcus M. 1 year ago on Google
Was there early in the afternoon for a coffee and to have a look at the view (beautiful view of the hills from there). Surprisingly at that time of day, people were having bottles of whisky and umbrella drinks on their tables... Drinking fast and clearly getting inebriated. At the same time, lots of kids in the pool screaming and having a blast. Very noisy, and not my kind of place... Unfortunately.

The atmosphere is great. You have a mountain view of nearby neighborhoods and it makes the ambience perfect. The food is nice and well served. Though the service could improve if the waiters try to be faster and communicate better. Otherwise it is a good place to hangout in the evenings. The drinks are super good!

It is a good and calm place to go with your loved ones. I love their orchestra. Their food is amazing too. The best of all, the place is really amazing. ❤️

  • 4/5 Manuel A. 1 year ago on Google
I visited on Saturday afternoon. The swimming pool looked very tempting, but as I entered it was full of little flies. I think someone could have cleaned the pool for the weekend. I asked for spareribs, but they were finished. Then I ordered steak which was really nice, did not take too long and staff was also nice. I would have preferred a few cocktails, but they were excessively expensive, all 12k, so I just settled for two sodas. Real nice views of Kigali.

The place is amazing but the service is extremely very poor. The waiters take forever to serve, 4 to 5 tables are handled by like 1 waiter... I don't know if they r overwhelmed 😕 😔 it's just annoying 😒 🙄 AS IF WE R IN A COMPETITION TO BE SERVED
