I would recommend GHotel to anyone visiting Kiel. Honestly, Kiel felt a bit unwelcoming for a person of colour but the hotel staff were amazing enough to make the stay super comfortable. Very clean and comfortable rooms, great room services and don't get me started on the minibars in the room. I loved it. A good variety of nicely prepared breakfast. A nice and serene environment. A bit far from the city center but well, an opportunity to be a bike expert, right? And hotel staff who actually say hello and smile back at you and ready to assist you as much as they can.

The hotel it self is nothing special, there is no elevator, it's kinda old, parking is limited, there is no AC in the room, and the location is not very good. That being said, the room was spacious and clean, it was quiet and the service was fine. For a one night stay, this hotel did the job.

Service is excellent, the room is decent and clean, the staff was friendly. I was attending a work-related seminar and I have no troubles waith my stay whatsoever. I would recommend staying there.

Not the best place for non german speaking travelers . None of them can speak enough english to help you . I asked how the wifi works since it didnt function properly but they didnt even understand the word wifi nor connection . It seems like nothing on the breakfast buffet is fresh . The bacon seems to be deep fried . They don't have a restaurant and everything they serve for lunch or dinner is frozen (they said so to us) No english tv shows only french or german , it's pretty easy to broaden the tv selection .

Very cozy and the staff was very kind. Maybe it would have been better if we'd had a temperature controller in the bathroom (or either we didn't figure it out how to do it). But it waa perfect.
