CHIC is home for cloths, but also is a place for all financial institutions like: BK, equity, cogebank, I&M, access, Urwego and unsurence and more. This building is incredible.

All kinds of services and shops are available in CHIC, from banks to tailors and from traditional Rwanda décoration handcraft to chinese supermarket. It has also some big compagnies head offices. It's biggest advantage compared to many malls is its big parking.

There's enough shops for outfits. There is also a good place to have your hair made male or female. The place has clothes selling at fair prices... Don't forget to bargain though... they'll sell them to you at cheaper prices.

Huge mall with hundreds of little stalls selling clothes. It’s like shopping in an enormous market. See you get a general idea of prices before buying anything. They might quote you a higher price if they suspect you are wealthy, foreigners, Rwandans alike. My strategy for shopping in Rwanda is the following. 1. I search, try and ask prices in different shops and compare. 2. Then I go to the cheapest shop that has what I want and then i haggle. You should be able to get at least 10% off. Sometimes 20%. You could argue ‘the more expensive shop has better quality’. Truth is the market share for high quality is small and it is not because someone quotes you a higher price the quality is necessarily better. Not at all.

I only go there to get a fresh hair cut at 2k and good stuff at that Chinese store

All I can say is that this building tries to offer one an easy access to almost every needed service in life here in Rwanda.

This place is located at Downtown kigali, it's a big mall, it's not only for shopping, that building are also hosting english schools, driver schools, bank services like money gramme, western union. The shopkeepers are from Rwanda, China, India etc...
