Having regretted not visiting La Tasca de Duran before it closed I was determined to see its replacement. Had it to myself on a weekday late afternoon / early evening, did not eat but good bar service and plenty of screens to view sports, as well as the chance to look at boxing memorabilia. Staff happy to take photos though no doubt it gets much busier and more lively later, especially if the great Duran himself appears as apparently he does with some regularity - without prior advice, for obvious reasons. Show less service was excellent, and so was the music... The food was really tasty and we went for dishes that had been created by the Champion's Mom ... The walls are decorated with pictures and quotes from the Champion and the pictures by the bar tell the story of the greatest Light Weigh Boxer of all times ...

This is a very good place, probably they just need to install Air Conditioners and they will be good to go.

The place is on a main road just after Oli libya as your heading to Namugongo. There is car washing, a restaurant and a mini bar. It's fine for a break and then continue with the journey.
