this monument was established to memorise soldiers who sacrifies their lives during the war period

This represent the end of the dark era of the Sri Lanka. This is a huge water tank tower at the kilinochchi town. At the end part of the war terrorists bombed the tank to eliminate water supply to the innocent people in the area. Still it lies beside the main road. Actually this represent the pain and suffering of the people those days.
