Beautiful little place but mighty in flavor and selection! Our party of four absolutely annihilated our food and LOVED every bite!! I particularly appreciated the ability to get both gluten-free pasta AND pizza. Do not miss this fabulous restaurant!!

Had to book for dinner arrived in time and had a table already set. Got set menu with wine wine. I had risotto on starter. Steak with mushroom sauce and chips for main course. For dessert brownies with ice cream and cappuccino. Lovely food and waitress personal. Would highly recommend to visit not only for dinner.

Rarely we find the perfect Italian restaurant but lá rivista is fantastic, only in kilkenny for one night so really wanted to treat ourselves had read amazing reviews about this place so said we would try it. The perfect pizza and perfect ceaser salad with yummy sides. The staff were so lovely and friendly so we would highly recommend you give them your custom as you won't be disappointed x

Make sure you make a reservation. Food was phenomenal. Had the chicken pesto pizza and a Spicy pizza. We also had the garlic cheese Chiabatta with the Nduja and it was amazing. Friends had the Bolognese and pasta. The service was really great and friendly. I would definitely recommend and return next time I'm in the area.

Fabulous pizzas and a warm and friendly vibe. My two kids have never eaten so much pizza in their life but it was so good they couldn't get enough.

Absolutely delicious food, Gamberetti Piccante for my main which consisted of sautéed tiger prawns, chorizo, chilli, garlic, shallots, roasted red peppers, fresh basil. This was served with an option of Parmesan Crunchie bar cheesecake for desert and a Baileys coffee. Full bar available with cocktails. Staff is extremely friendly and provide a brilliant service.

Amazing pizza, helpful and friendly staff and a beautiful restaurant ambiance. Really reasonably priced too. A lovely casual place that you would equally return with friends on a night out or with a young family. Would highly recommend!

I've been here a few times and am always a little underwhelmed. This visit was on the 15th of December for birthday dinner. Unfortunately we were caught by their extremely over priced "xmas menu" which is basically their regular menu but at €28 for 2 courses is very punchy. We were not warned about this on booking so be warned! That said the food wasn't bad

Staff were very nice. Beef was great. Carbonara OK and pizza was good too. Tiramisu not the best but Excellent value for what we got

Really enjoyed a recent dinner here with a group from work. I had the Chicken pesto pizza and I believe its the best pizza I've ever had. I also enjoyed a really nice side salad, lovely mix. Others at the table had lasagne and ceaser salad, no complaints. The only grumble I heard was one person from our group commenting that the sweet potato fries were too salty and they weren't eaten. The deserts ordered were crumble and cheesecake, which looked nice but not as light and fluffy as I remembered having on a previous visit. Overall we had a very good meal and I look forward returning.

Very nice pizza & the garlic sauce is probably the best I've ever had, need to bring home a bucket of it!

Had the most gorgeous pizza here on Fri 17th Feb also the nachos were just yummy beautiful restaurant lovely atmosphere fantastic service by the lovely Aisling who I learned later is also the manageress between her and the owner Seamus they run a fantastic ship well done guy's will definitely revisit

The best coffee and croissants in town, and I love their tuna melt. Everything I have tried has been flawless , be it for breakfast or dining. The staff is also warm and welcoming. You can also buy dishes to take away like Beef Burgundy or Lasagnas. Really fresh food cooked lovingly! I have yet to try the pizzas ;)

Legend. I went there to order 2 take away pizzas (they have amazing gluten free pizzas, my celiac boyfriend was happy 😊), and I had a beer in the restaurant while waiting for them. Not only was the lady taking my order extremely nice, but when the pizzas were ready and she saw I hadn't finished my beer, she gave me a take away cup so it wouldn't be wasted. Absolutely gorgeous pizzas, fresh ingredients, very filling, and good value for money. It was our first time there but definitely not our last. See you soon!

We had a lovely dinner here. Food was tasty, service was warm and friendly, prices were fair, and they had many gluten-free options. Would come back here again.

Visited here with 3 other girls after a night on the town in Kilkenny, this morning. We had 4 scones and tea/coffee. Honestly, the most delicious scones we ever tasted. Lovely chilled atmosphere , fabulous lady serving at the counter - super friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone that isn't looking for the traditional breakfast cafes. Will definitely return in the future

Ordered a selection of sandwiches and a chocolate cake for 20/25 people for a work event. Jennifer couldn't do enough for us. It was absolutely delicious. Cake was decorated so beautifully and was a show stopper! Selection of sandwiches suited everyone's taste, a good variety. Would highly recommend La Rivista.

Two separate storefronts about 100 meters apart. The one next to the Rothe House serves coffee by 8am and has AMAZING pastries.

Had a pizza from La Rivista on our arrival in Kilkenny on Friday night. It was an absolute delight- the most flavoursome crust ever! The toppings were plentiful and tasted premium quality, not your mediocre olives and mushrooms. You could really taste that the chefs care about serving a great pizza as opposed to a just pizza. Also the basil pesto and garlic mayo were super tasty and fresh. We returned on Saturday but as we didn't have a booking and the place was full we couldn't get a table, so be sure to make a booking. We returned on Sunday and had another amazing Capri pizza each. We both loved and savored every bite of it! It's definitely the best pizza I've ever had. The service was friendly, quick and professional. We can't wait to return!

Very kind and warm service, the place looks homely. Everything in the menu looks good to taste. I enjoyed the pizza, specially the dough, and the sweet potato fries. I liked the tiny market with ready to eat healthy food. They offered us a table which was booked for one hour later and they didn't rush us anytime despite the fact that the food was served a bit delayed. I would definitely come back again!
