Came in on a Friday night and was seated right away. The service was pretty good. The food was great and the prices are reasonable. It's worth a try.

Decided to take a shot since it's dog friendly. Our dog was very welcome on the back deck (which is covered and was great bc it was raining). 2 of the servers were a little scared of him, but to be fair, he's a 112lb black gsd. But I digress. Our server was great. Very friendly and attentive. I had the mexican fried rice with veggies, and it tasted like mac and cheese and risotto had a baby. Absolutely delicious. BF had Carne asada tacos and said they were amazing. Dad had steak fajitas and enjoyed them. I tried the rice and beans from my bf, and they were good. It was reasonably priced. I will say the salsa they give you with chips was only so so, but everything else was great!

Menu doesn't have great vegetarian selection, one item we got from that wasnt too good but staff is quite accommodating swapping meat for beans on other items which was much better. Good atmosphere, welcoming place. Salsa with chips was really sweet. Extra spice or option to spice things up at least would take it up a notch.

Plaza Azteca was quite possibly the best Mexican food I've ever eaten! All 5 of us didn't speak for at least 20 minutes. All I heard was "mmnn.. wow.. yum. ." And sounds of eating with pleasure. THAT is how lunch should be. Always!! Great atmosphere, staff, cleanliness, cold beer, prices, food, and efficiency. I highly recommend it!!

Service was friendly and food was good. I ordered the pork tacos thinking I ordered chicken but they were still good. Kind of expensive for what we got. Husband got the chimicunga and queso dip and he said it's the best he's had and we eat Mexican a lot.

My husband and I ate here on our last night of vacation at OBX. We had fajitas for two and was it ever yummy . Our server was so kind and checked on us multiple times throughout our dinner. Highly recommend 😁

My wife and I went for a date night here at Plaza Azteca. I got the "Burrito Texano" she the "Baja Fish Tacos". The service was very friendly, attentive, and prompt. Food came out real quick. So delicious! Thanks for a wonderful experience. I wish I could remember our waitress' name. She really was very professional.

Food was good, hot and fresh. Wait staff was knowledgeable of menu items and most of the time was there for any refills or necessary items. We sat outside and enjoyed our visit. Accessible to wheelchair and other special needs for entrances as well as restroom accommodations. Prices are reasonable and there was ample parking.
