This is without a doubt in my list of personal favorite, and best restaurants I have ever been to. The food is freaking awesome. I cannot wait to revisit, and it is definitely worth a trip in itself! Our waitress the first visit was so helpful and fun, and she really made us excited for our food, and feel so at home and comfortable - it was really awesome. And the service both visits was so fast! Your food will not take more than ten minutes to get to you. The menu is one of those menus where you will end up spending the most time trying to decide what you want, because you want everything. Every item sounds incredible. And it’s all so simple and straightforward - everything is awesome, and you can tell they have their system down. Honestly the best thing for me was their waffle fries! Which feels lame to say, but they were unbelievably crispy and so well salted. And with avocado ranch, even better! I loved them. But it’d be totally unfair to not acknowledge everything else. It was all great. Not to mention, they have great prices. The first time I came, it was my girlfriend and I, and it was so good we had to tell my family and bring them all back with us! And I’ll definitely be telling anyone else I can. I can’t wait to come back!

Stopped here for lunch with my family and it was a great decision. The food was so flavorful and fresh. I got the jerk chicken wrap, my step daughter got the burger and the other 3 in our party all got fish tacos or wraps. I don’t eat seafood myself but they all said the fish was was really good. The waiter was very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations. Oh and the pico they serve on the side is amazing. Definitely will be back next time we’re in the obx.

By far one of the best places we have tried while vacationing in OBX. Only wish we had tried this sooner as I would have ordered from here a few times! I say this with over 15 years in the restaurant game... this place has their sh*t together! Daily prep and quality product go such a long way. Menu isn't to huge but varied enough to leave you unsure of what to try first because it all sounds amazing! After reading the reviews we had to try the waffles fries to start. Hands down best I've had. Fresh, crispy, salty, and perfect portion (basket size). For entrées we orders Mahi Mahi (fried) fish tacos, BBQ chicken quesadilla, bacon cheeseburger. Tacoes were out of this world. Packed with flavor and crispy. Slaw and sauce were well balanced. Rice and beans with fresh pico was very good and seasoned perfectly to get that home style taste. Nothing had the taste or look as if it just went from package to table as a lot of places have unfortunately started doing. Again the daily prep and attention to quality is apparent here. The kiddo always orders a burger no matter where we go and she said it was the best she has had. The other half order the quesadilla and said it was flavorful, chicken was tender, ingredients balanced. Service was top notch. Atmosphere was very chill. Very clean. Art on the walls are available for purchase from local artists. Overall very efficient system and tight run ship with relaxed vibe. This should be the first and last place you go to while in OBX. I hear peak season can be crazy with lines and gets very busy but I will tell you this place is WELL WORTH the wait! Do not sleep on this place! Will be back next year and this will be the first place we go for sure!

I've been dying to try this place for a couple years now. Four of us showed up at 5:3ppm on a Saturday night and they were packed. It's a really tiny hole in the wall restaurant in a strip shopping mall. I don't think they accept reservations or call aheads. The atmosphere is really casual and was very loud. The food was really yummy. We had the blackened shrimp quesadilla, pulled pork tacos, jerk chicken wrap, and bacon cheeseburger. Prices were decent. Server was nice.

7/26/23 Decided to try this place based on the reviews already posted and they did not disappoint. I had the Roasted Veggie Quesadilla which has zucchini, portobello mushrooms, red peppers, roasted corn salsa & gouda cheese served with rice, black beans, sour cream, pico & scallions. Everything was fresh and delicious! My friend had the Blackened Shrimp Quesadilla with gouda cheese and roasted corn also served with the rice and black beans. Tried the pineapple mango salsa too and it's awesome! This restaurant though small in size is huge in flavorful food choices and friendly staff you really will love! Tef

Off season so not busy and chill. Tartar sauce is great. I didn’t love my fish but it was fresh. Nice I assume homemade dessert selection. I thought it was pricey for atmosphere and what you get but ….it’s the beach. I wouldn’t go back until I tried everything else. I also agree with MANY reviews that good is bland. Update on the cheesecake. I would skip.

A very small diner. There’s a bar you can ear at and I think 4 tables and that’s it. You may want to get take out. The food is pretty good. We went here years ago I remember it being very good. We were just here today and my memory was correct! Burgers are excellent. There are a couple of vegetarian options as well. My son ordered off the kid’s menu - those portions are huge (parents be warned)! Nachos are very good. And there’s a selection of craft beers as well. I don’t think you’ll leave hungry after eating here. Service is very good but the restaurant itself is small and crowded. It was kind of warm inside as well. We got there and luckily got a table but soon after we arrived there was an hour wait. Prices were $60 for 4 meals and a appetizer so not to bad.

Although the place was tiny and packed, the food there is worth! We had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Fish sandwich. The guacamole on the sandwiches really hit the spot. I like how they served nacho chips instead of fries as the side. The waitress was kind and accommodating. I highly recommend!!

Always good food. Never a letdown. The menu is consistent and plentiful. The waffle fries are delicious. Homemade and oerfectly prepared. Everything is served fresh. There are great fish of the day and daily specials. All the regulars are great, too. This place is located in a small shopping center directly off the beach road at milepost 9.5.
