I love every Residence Inn I’ve been to and this one is no exception. Great customer service and clean room. The wall insulation must be good since I don’t really hear any noise from my neighbors next-door or upstairs. Love the tasty homemade continental breakfast. Decent fitness center.

My room smelled like mold. They gave me a new room... Had a fridge and kitchen which was a surprise. The second room was very clean. Continental breakfast provided.

Older hotel but renovated to newer modern rooms. Conveniently located off I40W and across from the Westgate mall. Great hot breakfast.

Our room was very clean. The bed was so soft and comfortable. The grounds outside were well kept - no trash on the ground anywhere. The girl at the front desk was kinda friendly - felt sorry for her having to work on XMAS day, but was thankful that she showed up!

Staff are very helpful. Rooms were very clean. Location is central and easy to get anywhere around town. Breakfast had enough choices to find something appealing. Morning coffee was great!

I have stayed here off and on for the last five or six love every minute of it. The staff went above and beyond for me Miss Vivian took care of my room did an excellent job every time and breakfast Miss sannah made sure that I had something to eat every morning with my allergies it wasn't easy. As far as front desk service everybody took care of me including manager assistant manager Andrew and Kendra. And of course the maintenance man he made sure that I had a clean filter and fix my light bulb without asking. So I know I wear I will be staying every time I returned to Killeen

We stayed here last week while in town for a Conference. Great location easily accessible to a large variety of shopping areas and places to eat. Very attentive staff who were always available and eager to assist with anything needed. Clean rooms with lots of amenities available. Comfortable beds with large clean rooms. Entire hotel was clean and well-kept. Complimentary hot breakfast available and pretty good selections of scrambled eggs, bacon, freshly made waffles, sausage biscuits, hot English Muffins with eggs and Swiss cheese, Hot Oatmeal, Almond milk, yogurts, bagels with cream cheese, various juices, coffees, and teas. We will definitely return again and would certainly recommend you visit and stay at this location.

A very dated property. Breakfast was not worth the extra money for room/breakfast buffet. Breakfast at the Holiday Inn next door was much better. Be aware of the Buffet!

Unfortunetly i had awful experience with this place. Its really unsafe to park your car in this hotel as someone broke the window and steal it easily. No cctv no security !

I'm a lifetime Marriott Platinum member and this hotel epitomizes why I no longer stay at Marriott's. It is dated and tired. It is the old-fashioned key system that deactivates anytime you place them around another electronic. The payment system wouldn't pull from my profile and they had to manually swipe my card despite checking in online. It took 20 min at the front desk. ....but the kicker was no hot water in the morning. They decided it wasn't important enough to do anything about, and so I have decided it is no longer worth staying at Marriott's.

Loved the rooms. They came with everything to include a kitchen. Laundry was on third floor. The staff seemed lackluster and always waited at a minimum of 5 minutes before someone came to the front desk to help. The breakfast was ok as well. Not the best but not the worst.

The room was nice, though I don't need a kitchenette, bed was super comfy. The complimentary breakfast changes each morning which is nice variety, as I don't like breakfast sandwiches, but the next day they had scrambled eggs and bacon which was heavenly. There is no sidewalk anywhere for pedestrians without a car, so the location isn't that great for walkers, but if you have a car everything is close driving distance. No restaurants within a safe walking distance. The pool is a bit small, but it's nice and clean.

I was only here for two nights, but the rooms were plenty big and had a nice little kitchenette with everything you need. The pool was also pretty clean. Breakfast was nothing special but for a buffet you cant really complain much. Biggest drawbacks, there is no bell to ring for service at the front desk so if you cant catch a worker youre going to wait a little while, especially if youre wanting to get a snack from their pantry. Also its not the best area parking wise as someones car got broken in to while we were staying there.

Large, very clean rooms. Breakfast had a great variety along with the usual waffles, bagels, cereal, muffins, yogurt, you know... nice lady keeping food stocked and clean. Erika at the front desk was awesome! We were able to get upgraded to 2-bedroom suite since the previous guest checked out early. Kudos to all. We'll stay here again!

The room was ok the people were nice. The breakfast was lousy the breakfast sandwiches were hard and the waffle iron looked like it never gets cleaned. I'm stuck in this room for 3 more nights that is sleepless nights because the bed is so hard it's like sleeping on the floor. Never will I stay here again.

For a Marriott it does well, the room had mild issues, the couch was either returned to a couch wrong or it was very worn in. The wall in the bathroom had fresh plastering but looks like it was slapped on there haphazardly and they didn't bother putting paint on it. Main rooms and gym look good. Kinda a pain to get to driving wise. Breakfast was great! Good selection and reasonable hours for access.

This is the first time I have returned to Residence Inn since the pandemic. Service is excellent from the breakfast staff, housekeeping, and front desk. My only problem is the drape (left side) in my room. I noticed it looked like it was about to fall off. I was afraid to toggle to check it. And l forgot to inform the front desk about it as I left. I'm not sure why I always get a lousy room whenever I stay at Residence Inn. Also, I wonder how often or who checks each room for repairs and maintenance. IMO, the rod & drape issue can pose as hazardous to guests, especially those with children. I will call the front desk and remind them of the problem. I will still book family stays at Residence Inn in the future. Sometimes, some things get overlooked!

If you’re deciding between TownPlace, Fairfield, or the Residence, do not hesitate on choosing the Residence Inn. I have tried all three hotels (back-to-back) and the Residence is a significant upgrade - room, bed, and breakfast. In second place, Fairfield. Beds were β€œmeh,” but the breakfast was very good. In third place, TownPlace. The bed was terrible. It was thin and firm, to the point you can feel the pocketed coils. If you sleep with a partner, you can expect to feel every movement they make. Also, the A/C was loud and not very efficient. (This same review will be posted on all three Marriott hotels.)

Used to be much better, they had appetizers in the evenings back in the day and the hot tub is gone. It's still nice enough especially if you like cooking in the room or on the grill.

Wow. Where to start? I travel a lot for work and always stay at Marriott. I'm Platinum Elite (not that status matters to Marriott), but I'd expect them to at least make an effort. This hotel was gross. There were roaches in the room and in the breakfast area. I asked for my room to be cleaned every other day and the front desk said they'd take care of it. It wasn't cleaned once in a 12 night stay. I'd be hard pressed to find a hotel in America that cares less about it's customers. Stay somewhere else if you value cleanliness and comfort.

I was decided by this hotel , I was told that I had a king suite room . This wasn't what I was given , and when I brought it to the attention of the front desk , they informed me that I was wrong , I told them that I have king size bed all through my home , they still wanted to argue the point, they went as far to call the property management and they also stated that these beds were king size. I didn't want an argument I returned to the room , but before I got there house keeping were cleaning on my floor , so I ask both of these ladies were these beds king size , both stated ""NO "" there aren't any in this hotel . I don't feel I should have to pay for something you lied to me about .

Pretty good residence inn. Honestly wished they had a hot tub/jacuzzi next to the pool. It's fall ss of this review so you can't escape a few leaves in the pool but it did look not the best. Not horrible though. Yet still great comfort, never heard neighbor ls so rooms built great. Worth the stay.

Hotel was comfortable and pet friendly. The included breakfast was good, we did not use the gym or pool area. No issues during our one night stay. I am deducting one star because the manager at the front desk Ericka Alecia was not at all welcoming and seemed like she did not like her job.

The staff from the front desk to house keeping are super nice. Suites/rooms are roomy, stocked and clean. If there is a issue they will work to resolve it. Location is great, easy access to highway, stores (HEB around the corner) as well as places to grab a bite to eat. I have stayed at some of the places near here and it's just not the same atmosphere. I travel to Killeen once a month for work, and this is my preferred location.

I am a titanium member, which means I stay fairly often at multiple Marriott hotels. I prefer Residence Inns when I can find them because they're usually nicer. This place was in an OK neighborhood, but my room was ghetto. My room had damage to carpets (multiple), furniture (all) and walls. Some of the damage had been painted over, meaning it was older and known yet unrepaired. Some of the damage was newer. The darkening curtains were missing in both rooms. In the bedroom they hung a jerry-rigged rod hanging from the window frame tied on with SHOELACES. It had ad hoc curtains that helped. There were no cushions on for the back of the sofa and the sofa had nasty stains all over the back where the cushions would normally go. One of the bedroom lamps was missing. The TV had been ripped off the wall, and instead of fixing it, they just moved the coffee table from the couch area to hold up the TV. There was only one chair at the 'dining' table (with rips and holes in it), and the dishwashe left our dishes dirty. The microwave was so loud we had to turn the TV up to be able to hear it whenever we heated up something. There was a weird buzzing noise that would randomly go on and off throughout the night (we checked, we were not near the mechanical space). The AC was quite loud as well, but at least it worked. The dishwasher handle was broken but functioning. The bed looked like it had not been cleaned, just straightened before we got there, and the pillows looked like someone else had been sleeping on them shortly before we checked in. The iron leaked. Any one of these things by themselves would be maybe something you wouldn't mention. Adding it all up made a poor experience for a hotel that is priced too high for what you get. Disappointed in Marriott for this one. Will not stay here again.

I'm guessing to the hotel is around 8-10 years old. Nice hotel, nice amenities, needs some updating though. No USB ports in the room I'm in. No smart TV...not even a guide so you can scroll through channels without changing the channel. Used to be when I was staying in a hotel, they were a step ahead on the technology in the rooms. Great staff and like I said the amenities are better than most at the same level....solid 3-star hotel.
