I’ve been attending this gym for over five years consistently. Over the past few years the security measures have gone down dramatically. This morning the cops were called because of a homeless man entering into the gym harassing me and the overnight attendant. Here lately, also they're putting girls on the overnight shift. nothing wrong with ladies but the area is already sketchy and they have no safety measures in place I normally would give this gym 4 to 5 stars hands-down but here lately I’ve been feeling unsafe. I also believe the sanitizing bottles don’t s have any cleaning products in them. Issues with moving gym equipment closer together although the Delta variant is going around. The overhead Gym recording talk about the clean thumb club🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ I’m personally looking forward to the new gym opening on STAN Schlueter since Management has neglected safety measures at this location in more than one way

Evidently the gym itself is fine as far as the amount of equipment is concerned. However the issue is with the management/supervisor staff who all enforce their own set of rules when it comes to amenities. Not to mention there appears to be extremely poor training when it comes to new hires. I had to call today to speak with both corporate and the GM at this location about the treatment my son has received not once but twice this past week. The BC membership isn't explained adequately & the perks vary for each individual location.

The gym is clean and welcoming. I normally hate going to the gym, but planet fitness is different. I don't feel nervous about it. My only issue with the Veterans Memorial location is that the parking lot is dark, eerily dark.

Visiting PF Killeen was a beautiful experience. The staff is welcoming, and friendly. The facilities are well maintained. I along with my friend enjoyed my workout. Thank you!

I'm just getting started on this healthy journey. Carolina Was very helpful. And I think his name is Abraham an Arren all are very helpful. So far I really am liking my journey.

I love the variety of cardio equipment but I didn’t like the staff cleaning with no gloves on then touching the equipment they just cleaned! Music selections were good and nobody bothers me total plus! I also loved not having to wait on the red light machine and hydro massager

Started here a while back. 99% of the gyms here are packed from 5am until 9pm. This one isn't. The staff is super friendly, the trainer is great (hell, you get a free meeting/workout/diet), the amenities are on par as well. The one negative about PF in general is the lack of free weight equipment. That's it. It'll do the job though and I love it there!

Great place will come again. Wanted to try the other PF in Killeen as it is now on my way home from work. I was happy with the check in process as I didn’t know if I needed to to anything different. I wasn’t shown around but I did walk around. I hope to see about getting some physical training done with Law and try to get this plateau broken. Will be coming again to exercise. I do miss that the machines aren’t able to connect to my Apple Watch like the other gym across town. I hope that they will be upgrading them in the future.

I’m new to the Killeen area but have a lot of experience with PF. IMO, this is the best PF of the two in the city. Of the two locations, this place is not as busy and has just as much equipment. It is not as new as the other location and it’s in ‘the hood’ but the staff is friendly and helpful. I’d give this place 5 stars BUT the staff likes to turn up the gym stereo too loud. 95% of people that go to this gym have their own headphones/music. The gym’s music is loud enough that I can still hear it through noise canceling headphone. I’ve asked them to turn it down in the past but the next day it is loud again.

Great place, love it. People were respectful during my visit, place is clean. Didn't see any broken equipment.

The killeen down town location is always clean safe and the staff does a great job of maintaining the facility! Awesome job to all who make it run so well! God bless

This place is awesome, so I took a friend who joined silver sneakers, and the membership is really reasonable. Plus I get to visit with him as his guest😜 The staffing is very friendly and very knowledgeable about their jobs. Ms. Carolina is always waiting with the smile and a wave. Also, there's always a young gentleman named chris to help my friend and I check in. Lol🤣 When we come to the gym. We will get it right one day, Chris. There are so many different machinery's. There are massage chairs in the backs and glow machines to help with body and skin tone. Of course, they have a couple of tanning beds also. Come in and check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed 😉

It's a clean enough gym with enough equipment that you can achieve a decent sweat or your fitness goal. But after my home location gym closed for quite some time, I was forced to explore other nearby gyms and was honestly surprised about how much more I got out of other gyms for the same price! More equipment, group classes, etc. So yeah, good gym but there are better out there w 7 days of free trials available so you can see what you're signing up for and getting into.

I liked the gym. I was run in circles less trying to cancel my membership. My home location was closed for repairs, and I moved 4 hours away. If it was as easy to cancel as it is to join. That's my only complaint, otherwise great experience

Great environment, no pressure. Everything is clean, the staff is helpful. There is always machines available to get on. I love the hydro beds after my workouts! It feels great to get that massage

I have been a long time member of planet fitness. However, the quality of service, in regards to cleanliness has declined. They are NOT enforcing the rule of wiping down the machines. The new location in South Killeen is currently closed for “unexpected required maintenance” (at least that’s what the sign says). I think its due to Staph infections. I have never in my life had a Staph infection, but have gotten two of them since I joined the South Killeen location and I barely had time to workout. The hydro beds and any equipment that has benches or places where you sit can be the culprit , idk! The point is, I’m not paying $28 per month to keep getting infected! I’m not telling you not to go there, but something is up and they’re hiding it! So, I’m choosing to stay away from this place for good. You do what you want with this info, but don’t say you weren’t warned!

By far my most favorite experience across the country at ANY planet fitness I've been to so far! The only one I can go to and be able to literally workout for 4-6 hours straight!!! Not complaining about any of the other locations at all... Only saying this one is MY personal favorite!

I started going to the gym a few months ago, and I’ve always struggled to stay. However, the best part about this planet fitness is the staff. Like Jaqueline for example. She always greets me when I come in and makes me feel welcome. Even though she’s constantly working and cleaning, she finds times to make sure all of the members are engaged and happy. Thank you for amazing service Jaqueline. 🙏🏼

The staff here has always been friendly and welcoming since day one. The atmosphere feels safe and judgement free which has been a huge help in starting my fitness journey again since lockdown.

Absolutely awesome Experience!! The service was fantastic, amazing, and the best valet service imaginable. They came to the house to pick up my car and left a nice clean rental car with me.The hail damage repair service took care of everything and I had to pay $0. The rental ( my sister's dream car- was a sporty bright red Dodge Charger) so I was not without a car at any time during the hail damage repair. I definitely recommend American Hail Damage Repair. By the way, my car was returned to me in the same condition as it was picked up "CLEAN"and intact with no hail dents. They also kept their word concerning everything they promised. Over all its been a great experience for me. You can see they put effort into cleanliness. They are helpful, and they welcome everyone with a smile!

I've changed my rating to 1 star based on the business model behind the company. Its advertised as affordable. But then your second month in the year you will get hit with an annual fee. They seem to make up annual fee dates. I just paid that annual fee and membership and they tried charging my locked card for another month. Which thankfully it declined so when i see there is a balance due I pay it, well their idea is if they can't charge you at their will, to smack on another miscellaneous charge as a "late fee" now either you guys take my money at the advertised rate per month or I will let it default into oblivion and you will get nothing at all. Its gone from 21 to now 28 a month since ive been with them and I will pay 28 a month, not 43. Horrible business model and they are unwilling to work with you.

Hottest planet fitness I’ve ever been to. Even the water wasn’t cold Also the “judgement free zone/everyone’s welcome” atmosphere is a joke. Lunk alarm? That’s pretty judgey. And machines with limited adjustability isn’t very welcoming. If your body doesn’t fit within certain parameters the lack of adjustments on the machines make certain workouts ineffective or just flat out dangerous by putting joints in compromising positions. Example: some of their chest press machines have no back pad adjustments which means if you don’t have a certain body type then your scapula will be protracted when trying to do the workout which increases risk for injury. Get some free weights or machines that allow for proper range of motion on all body types.

Have to lower my rating from 4 to 1 star. I loved this gym. Today however I have rethink where I go. I was kicked out today because I wouldn't let the new guy, Roland take my picture. If this is policy then it needs to be 100% enforced from the beginning. Dont let someone join up and and not take picture because you dont want to loose a new customer because now youve set a bad example. Let them know what they need to do to be a member right away. I've been going here for over 3yrs now. No one has brought this up until recently and I feel that it should be my choice. Its my face after all. The current staff knows me pretty well and greet me everytime I come in. To be treated this way after all this time was completely unprofessional. I hope that when the owner calls me I have better experience and I can put my rating back up.

Good beginner gym. It's clean and the staff are pretty cool. However if you're an advanced lifter, want to do any compound lifts or anything like that then I wouldn't recommend this gym. It lacks all of that. If you just want to do cardio then they have a ridiculous amount of machines. Overall it's okay. I maintain my membership for the cardio due to it being extremely close to where I live. Not an iron paradise, though.

I love this gym! The staff members are very friendly, but most importantly this club is clean! You can take things like this for granted, but by far this is the cleanest club in Killeen. I always see someone walking around cleaning. Thank you for all you do to enhance public safety and decrease communicable spread. And because of this I am not afraid to walk into the locker room.
