It was not the best, I feel like I was given food that had sat out for a while. The fufu was hard and grainy, tasted spoiled. I had ordered the beef ogbono and the beef egusi. Both were really sour and tasted pretty bad. I really wanted to enjoy the food and even did my research beforehand, so I am kinda sad about the experience. Edit: I appreciate the business and owner responding, however, not only did you regard my review as an insult rather than constructive criticism, but you openly admitted that your restaurant got my order wrong as I had explicitly ordered fufu and not eba.

Worst meal ever arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Hard earned Money wasted, just like that. 😫 Beans was watery, the ogbono looked solid and not tasty at all. Amala (solid) was not good at all. Plantain was soaked in oil. Stew looked like a tomato stew( found tomato and onion skin inside) Rice was hard like it was microwaved for a very long time. I doubt the owner/cook are even Nigerian. This is a Caribbean restaurant. Pls stop deceiving people! This restaurant is not owned by a Nigerian. Pls don’t forget Change your cook/chef (Hire a Nigerian cook as a chef/cook for Gods sake) 👩‍🍳 Will def not return. ✌🏾 You’re welcome Update - Hi business owner! if you claim you are really from Lagos,Nigeria, you should come out and prove your identity to us. I have read a lot of reviews here from your business and I was expecting a very unprofessional response from you madam/sir owner. You’re not a true representation of the culture and the food you sell and to all that are still going to patronize your business after reading all the reviews should be ready to face whatever is coming to them. I have said my piece of mind. I hope you will hire a real Nigerian cook to help your business thrive and stop arguing/fight with customers that leaves a honest review on your business page. People are spending their hard earned money for God sakes. The food is really bad Period!

I got Egusi and fufu. It was edible but not the best. It had a weird after taste to me. Also goat meat was dry dark and very tough. Didn't feel welcome upon walking in. one ask if I was dinning in or anything. I wouldn't go back. I gave it two stars because it was atleast edible. You have the wrong client. No one offered me anything. Thanks for responding and lying. I was there with my aunt. We said nothing and left. Even tho it was edible. I wouldn’t feed that food to my dog.

It looks better than it tastes. There was a loose screw found in the greens. The meat pies filling inside is a little loose. The beef meat was tough. The jolloff rice and goat meat was almost perfect tho. The Akara fritters were pretty tasty and has great texture. I love Afrikan cuisine but this restaurant is one of my least favorites. FYI: Make sure you know what you are ordering by googling it before-hand cause some items have crayfish or other ingredients you may not be used to eating. It's nice to experiment tho. The atmosphere is a great Afrikan scene to sit and eat at.

This may be long but worth the read!!! My wife has been hounding me about Fufu since she saw it on Facebook feed and since then it comes up all the time. We found it right here in Killeen... So as we walked in instantly welcomed then the lady at the front cashier explained everything to our liking and comfort since we are new. The service is excellent! Now don't get me wrong we were very nervous spending money on something and not liking it. But she had to try it. The first dish looking like any food you can't really say looks were unpleasant just different. Smells of spices and she started to get a little scared but most people do that with Indian food because of the (Curry). As she took the first bite of the soup she smiled and said this is delicious then as she grabbed the Fufu she smiled bigger because she knew it was going to be better. All I Hurd was try this as she shoved it in my mouth. It was good. But as I opened mine I could smell everything tomato and spices it really brought up a lot of childhood flavors surprisingly. As for the Fufu it goes so well with the beef stew and I can not wait to go back to try the goat. If you have not gone to try fufu with a dish it is a must. Super delicious!!! A must try in Killeen Tx Assorted meat stew and Egusi with fufu.

I did not enjoy this food at all. The meat is so HARD we couldn't eat it, and it seems as if the meat is old as well. The food does not taste good. I honestly think that because this is the only Nigerian restaurant in the area that they are not cooking excellent food. I'm so disappointed, I love Nigerian food but this is NOT it.I Will never return to WASTE my money here. You guys have to do better, giving Nigerian food a bad name. 50 dollars down the drain.

I just want to preface that I rarely write reviews, nonetheless a negative one. Before I ordered from the restaurant, I did extensive research on what African food I should try and I came to the conclusion that I should order Beef Egusi Sauce w/ Fufu and Beef Ogbono Sauce w/ Fufu from this restaurant. My sister and I were excited to try it out, just to find out our food was completely inedible. As a person who is not a picky eater and just eats any food placed in front of her, it was genuinely hard for me to swallow. I called the restaurant expressing that I did not like the food because the food was completely inedible. I asked them if they could recook the food or recommend me another popular item in the menu. Unfortunately, they don't do refunds or exchanges, and wasn't open-minded to compromise. Although I did not have any malicious intent towards their restaurant and wanted to give this experience a second chance, the manager was very rude. I was accused of leaving a review that was not even mine and not doing prior research before ordering. They said that they would forward my phone number to the owner of the restaurant and I have never gotten a call back since. TLDR: In my experience, the food was bad, customer service was worse. I was open-minded for a compromise, and got shut down immediately. EDIT: (Response to the Restaurant's response to this review) I was told from the manager that I would get a call back from the OWNER of the restaurant, not the manager of the restaurant again. Still haven' t talked to the owner. When I got a call back from the manager again, she accused me of leaving a review that was not mine (which was my sister's, and I did not influence her opinion in any way) and hung up on me. No, I was NOT told to come back to try their food, I was told straight up that I could not get a refund or exchange. I was NEVER offered a remake of my order free of cost. I don't want to replace my meal if it means paying for it again, that would simply waste my time and money. "I simply believe this was a miscommunication and differences of opinion." No, I clearly communicated that I wanted to give this restaurant a second chance and see if they could make my order a second time or recommend me another popular food item. I was defending you for goodness sake and gave every negative review of this restaurant the benefit of the doubt. But no, the manager was just rude to me. My sister and I only took 2 bites of the food and threw it away, safe to say it was inedible. This restaurant does more damage control than actually improve their food and customer service. PS. Very rude to call my sister close-minded when she was open-minded enough to try this restaurant.

To start with I'm a full fledged Nigerian and knows what good food tastes like, absolutely. What I got here wasn't any close, there's definitely lots of improvement to be made as it's only fair for people to get good quality for what they pay for with their hard earned money. This place could be better and have more return customers if the management focuses on looking for ways to improve on the quality of their meals rather than taking and responding to reviews the wrong way, honestly!

The staff is amazing. The food was delicious. if anyone says customer service or the good is bad....don't believe them. I flew in from a different state. I had lunch here and met some really kind people. I loved the music playing. the restaurant and bathroom was clean. My food was presented to me very nicely. I hope to visit again. I think customers giving this restaurant below 3 or 4 stars are definitely over exaggerating.

I’ve eaten at this restaurant a few times. So far I’ve tried the pepper stew with goat meat, egusi and snail stew. I haven’t been disappointed at all! The food has always been fresh and very rich in flavor. The atmosphere is really nice with great lighting.

If you want some reheated food, this is the place to go. Nothing was fresh. Everything tasted like it was days old. I won’t eat here again. If I want food poisoning then I’ll surely come here. Oh and the goat meat was nothing but bones. No meat at all. I’m highly disappointed
