The most racist place I've ever witnessed in Ireland. It was just a pleasant evening where me and my friend ordered a piazza for takeaway but the owner and his staff took us, where he asked us to leave the place, once we got out pizza after 45 minutes. When we were just asking for an explanation about the delay, he rudely asked us to leave without making a fuss and providing an reason. Since it was a busy day, he didn't even care about our concern. Kudos to the service. Dalkey book festival, you served us very well. Thank you. No doubt, pizza was tasty and delicious just like we expected. But never expected such hospitality in this region.

Popped in on a cold February bank holiday evening for a lite dinner. Never been before, but absolutely will be back. The special soup was Pea, which was amazing, quite literally the best pea soup I have ever had. With some small molten balls of goat's cheese and some wafer thin crispy prosciutto, I was very pleasantly surprised at this elevated starter. For main, we had had a simple pasta ragu, and again, it was an elevated surprise, firm dense fresh pasta was sublime. Lucky for the locals who live nearby, and worth some travel for those who don't. Fantastic. Downstairs was full (a good sign) so we were seated in the pleasant upstairs section, comfortable seating and nice decor and lighting and music all combined to make our meal a much more pleasant experience than we would have expected. Pleasant staff and service topped off the evening.

Today we had the privilege of attending a celebration of our youngest granddaughter's First Communion in the loft. There were about 30 guests present. An excellent young staff attended to us, serving a big variety of food and drink. They are a credit to the restaurant and obviously the food was excellent. A total success. Thoroughly recommended.

One of the greatest Italian restaurants in all of Ireland. Both the pizza and pasta were amazing, and the service was delightful. I'll definitely recommend this to everyone.

We stopped by this evening after a sea swim for takeaway pizza the staff were so lovely, the restaurant was busy but we waited no time for our order. We had our pizza and woww from a pizza lover simply delicious fresh and very reasonably priced. We loved it that much we have actually gone and booked a table for 2 weeks time to go and sit try something else from the menu and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere cannot wait.

Went here for a birthday dinner with the family and was very impressed! Food was full of flavour and great portion size. Loved the decor and the atmosphere, will be back!

First class restaurant, great food and excellent service. Pizzas seem to be very popular but we had excellent pasta washed down with an excellent Puglian Rosé.

We had a wonderful meal at Benito's and Max the waiter was very professional and very attentive. My fresh penne were delicious and being half Italian I am very fussy. My husband had pizza and thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was swift and perfect

Super food beautifully presented and very tasty indeed. Warm friendly staff, and great service. Some additional soft furnishings could take the decibel level down a notch or three as conversation was difficult. I had the Seabass as main course...excellent, Creme brulee , for desert..perfect. Looking foward to Lamb Shank next time 😉

So, on our last night in Ireland, we had a very long day. We had taken the train up to Belfast at dawn and returned late to Dalkey. Benito's was one of a few places still offering food. The menu has nice variety of offerings. The dinning room is small and cozy, refined. Items such as pastas are listed as homemade. We are from Chicago, and we not disappointed. Another true gem amongst many in the small seaside town. They have been there for 20 years, so they are definitely doing it right. Would visit again when we get back. Thank you!

Great calamari and cod steak dinner in a long time. Lively ambiance and friendly effective service in family run business. They take pride in delivering food at it's best. Definitely returning soon to try famous pizzas.
