Nice bar and good food. They should increase their food offerings a bit more. Menu was limited as you can see in picture. But nice and helpful staff 👍 👌 👏 🙂

What a wonderful local pub. My first visit but not my last. There's a lovely atmosphere and the staff and the patrons are very friendly. The pub feels warm and bright and cosy inside. No loud music or digital distraction. A lovely place to catch up with friends and chat. The food was perfect pub grub and reasonably priced too. There is parking directly across the road for about ten cars. Guinness zero on tap. A hidden gem.

We came here for a quick family gathering and found the staff both friendly and accommodating. It was a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy, particularly if you removed the 25 or so from our party. We sat or in the beer garden at the front of the pub which is surprisingly large. They thoughtfully had a water container for dogs, as they know man's best friend also require a drink in a pub. The sandwiches supplied were tasty and when we ran out of them, they made up another few plates for us.

Great place to eat after visiting the nearby parks. The staff were welcoming and our food was ready very quickly. I tried the fried scampi and it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, I really liked it. The only thing I would improve is to reduce the amount of raw onions in the salad.

Very cosy friendly pub with a good quality food menu, a bit limited but what they do, they do really well and the ambiance and cosieness make up on top of that. The food is of a very high standard with particular attention to presentation, selection and quality. On a recent visit I had baked cod and chips with salad of rocket, tomato, onion, cucumber, peppers, lemon, tartar sauce and deep fried scampi thrown in for good measure. I've had this meal several times, fantastic value best in the general area at €16.50 as shown. The bar manager and staff particularly attentive and helpful and efficient. Frequently quiet and relaxing, expect it to be maybe busy Friday afternoon / evening with customers coming home from work.

I've sent in a review of this pub before, and I'm sending another one now. Excellent service, friendly staff, and the other customers seemed friendly as well. Menu looked good value to me, will definitely try the grub the next time I'm out that way!
