    Absolutely worst service!! Run away as fast as you can. I had Geek Squad Protection plan on my sound bar that I brought here to get it repaired. I have been waiting for 6 weeks and it still hasn’t been repaired. The latest update I got says that it will probably take another month. When I requested a refund, I’m told that they will try to repair it three times (regardless of how long each attempt takes).. Right now, this is their second attempt at repairing the device. So, I paid about $300 for a Geek Squad plan on my really expensive sound system and I still have to wait months to get it repaired.. ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT!! They keep making fake promises that they’ll try to help out with the best possible outcome but end up doing nothing.. Please find some other place to buy your electronics - this store is not it.. If there was negative stars, I would have given that.

    Absolutely worst best buy in the entire northern va area. I would stay away from this location. I returned an item and the associate said I would get an email with the gift card, when they were actually supposed to give me a physical card. After 2 hours of speaking to a customer service agent, they are now sending me a card to my house, which will take up to 2 weeks. Went back to the store, and even the store manager couldn't re-issue me a card and now I have to wait 2 weeks. Awful customer service. F rating.

    Very bad customer service. I bought dryer machines, including 5 years warranty, which is extra. My dryer isn't working correctly after the 3rd year, and the repair is covered by warranty. What happened? In the last 3 months,until today, Best Buy is pushing with 2 weeks of appointment for different reasons. Very unprofessional. My dryer is still on the floor, and nobody cares about the customer. NEVER BUY ANYTHING IN THIS STORE.

    Worst store - absolutely no courtesy or respect. I wanted to switch my phone service to Verizon. I waited in the line for customer service for about 15 mins. A customer service rep walks past me and ask the lady next to me if she needed any help. When she said I don’t need any help then I mentioned to the rep that I needed help. So I explained her the situation with switching phone service. What I noticed is she was giving me wrong info she told me if I switched the service max I can per line is $800 and I had to stay with Verizon for 3 yr. When I informed her that I was at another Best Buy two days back and the rep told me it’s $1000 per line and I had to stay with Verizon so 30 months. She told me that is not correct. So i asked can you please check. Then she logged into the system and reviewed the deal she agreed with me. Then I told her you had mis informed me earlier she obviously did want to agree that she was wrong. It’s probably her ego. Then she claims she has been up till 3 am working at the store. Then she informs me I was rude to her. I explained her it’s her who’s was being rude. When she walked past me when I was next in line for customer service and started helping others. Her response to me was “we made eye contact” ! That is why she was helping, the other lady when that lady was not even looking at her 🙄. . At this point manager walks in and asks me to leave. What a manager he did not try to understand what led to this conversation or who was right vs wrong. How can his rep be ever wrong ! It’s always the customer mistake. Don’t shop here go else where where they treat customer with respect.

    *update* I wanted give them two stars, but the supervisor I was working with was aware of which device I wanted and still chose to give me the opposite one. Now I just have to look at this scratch on my screen. Just go to a different Best Buy. The card readers were down while I was there. The associates were aware of the issue and still let customers proceed forward with their purchases without warning. People would be trying to buy thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, at the end, pull out their card, only to then find out they only had two options: either pay with cash or sign up for a best buy credit card; they were using this as an opportunity to get as many sign ups as possible. No one carries that much cash. It's either you get the credit card or go home empty handed. I circumvented the system by ordering online for a pickup in store. They told me, "best case scenario, it would be ready in an hour," so I drive 30 minutes home, just to find out it was ready in 15 minutes. Save yourself from shady dealings and just go to another best buy. I'm giving them an extra star because I know they were just trying to make the best of a bad situation, but it was still dirty.

    Nov 2023 UPDATE My recently purchased HP was on the blink but still covered so bought new, nicely priced Cyber Monday HP machine and Bob Jones (only shout out on a desert island) arranged for my Best Buy total member treatment - new machine data transfer and old machine repair and pick up. A few hours later I get notice machine is assigned to technician and to schedule an appointment (which I did). Today thought I'd avail myself of 24/7 support and called to hit a brick wall. Left three messages and when I finally got a human they said "you need to speak to the store" - which is what sent me to him. Complete run around and NO service even for top quality support plan - so avoid this scam. Will provide update after visit tomorrow but feel likely the service will be wrong. Oh well probably three days where any compentent reseller (Apple, though not a fan of the system) would do it right (and answer when you call). I go back and forth with Best Buy (vs just buying online). Get they match online pricing and dont even mind the separate service plan cost (as online is caveat emptor), but Best Buy right now is a FAIL (too bad for good folk like Bob). AVOID and dont waste your hard earned funds. Sorry to see as I root for the company to succeed, but would not bet for longevity. To the dustbin of history, awaiting the new retail savant for electronics, we need it. NOV 2022 UPDATE Stopped by my go to Best Buy Geek Bar without an appointment and a challenge. Got married a few weeks back and with family all around the country and wedding in Florida went for a full video of the ceremony. Needed to share (and found the internet bulky so looked for reasonably priced USB drives to send around. William (between scheduled appointments) found a solution and walked me through and I am underway making 15 copies (with extra room for photos and personal greetings on each ). Gave a shout out in the store to William's supervisor (with a bell ring out from all). I just wanted to give a top review and also give a shout out for William to the C-Suite. A real asset. Top quality store. GO. Sitting at Best Buy Sterling, VA parking lot on a rainy Friday afternoon. My computer was acting up (deathly slow!!!) and I have Tech Support at the Geek desk. Did not have an appointment but figured I would see what I could set up. Bob, a long time, very helpful guru -a reason for earlier thumbs up - was present and I left the computer for he and his team to work magic. Writing this because despite the outcome I know it is getting a fair look (and if a replacement is needed I will get the full low down on what has transpired). More important (heads up corporate management), Bob at the Geek Bar is polite, competent and friendly - a real gem and why Best Buy and this store is my go to place. Keep up the good work!!!

    The geek squad at this location went above and beyond to help me with issues I was having with my PC. Todd, the manager of geek squad provided some of the best customer service I've ever had at a box store. They provided some of the best turnaround times for parts and best advice I could ask for. If you need something this location was very helpful and Todd makes sure all customers are well taken care of. Jonathan who was running the desk was very helpful at the time of my crisis as well. He helped me walk through my RMA process and made sure I was well taken care of.

    I’ve been visiting this store since 2014 and every time I go in I ask myself why I still shop here. Ever since 2020 many TVs and other demos have been barely functional or completely broken. It’s not difficult to turn on a TV or set it to the proper input, if I can do that, a Best Buy employee can do it during their downtime as well. Secondly, it’s hard to find help, if I go in the Magnolia section, almost every time no one has been there to help demo a product for me. Lastly and this was my final straw, they were blasting Spanish music out of a Bluetooth speaker. They already have an overhead music system that plays music, so why do need to blast music in the store as well? I was tempted to unplug the speaker so I could get some peace and quiet. It made it very unpleasant to shop in the store and since it was a Bluetooth speaker, who knows if any of the music was vulgar? If it was a tactic to get people to not shop at your store, then you did an awesome job! I’m never coming back. It’s a shame too since at one point I wanted to work for your company, but I’m glad I never had the opportunity to.

    I went shopping for the new iPhone today and was taking care by the staff. Each department the staff would come up and ask if we needed help, and if we had questions. They were also very knowledgeable and helped explain billing/ and iPhone upgrades. Best Buy also the best deal with trading in- more than The TMobil store. Highly recommend checking Best Buy first!

    Very bad delivery and installation service. Bestbuy hires thirdparty and taking no responsibility of the installation of the third party. they left without installing any of the washer and dryers in the hallway blocking the rooms.. Bestbuy support team asked to wait for 24 hours to 48 hours to reschedule the installation as the system is not updated? why dont they just call the delivery and installation partner to close and find another installer to fix immediately. Bestbuy is not great anymore interms of the service.we are highly disappointed by the supervisor's response when we need someone immediately.

    this best buy has the nicest customer service and has all the equipment i could want to build my house together. the electronics section also has a nice open display where you can test out whatever you want if you want to buy the product

    It's been very long time since I visited the store and I was pleasantly surprised by the new design and layout. Walking between the departments feels a lot more spacious. There are islands of focus areas defined by category or brand. The staff at the OLED TV section was knowledgeable and kind. And my return was processed very quickly. Will visit again

    With Amazon putting brick and mortar stores out of business I decided to patronize my local Best buy looking for a phone case. Well, not only did they not have my case. I gave them two different models to choose from. I was asked if I had my phone with me so they could see if they could figure out a case that works. The case that works is the case that's labeled with the same model number as my phone this is why they have a model number designation. Nobody ever went to the computer and it was pretty much a sorry. The knowledge was not there. The customer service was akin to someone that is watching a booth for a friend. The sad part is we made several stops that day looking for pretty common items and we were given the same answer. If you work retail I would suggest getting a job at the Amazon fulfillment center because there's likely going to be a fulfillment Warehouse in the next 5 years where your current job holds real estate.

    I called the store today to ask an update over my online order, I don’t usually order stuff online and because of covid guidelines I have to now, ASHLEY gave me such a bad attitude over the phone I had to cancel my order I only got half of my amount back and I still don’t care. Hire people who know how to talk over the phone not with an trashy attitude. Is this how I will be treated in person too? I would like to see that! Such bad service jeez

    I purchased a camera (on sale) under their insurance program and was approved for a replacement. When I went back to the store to replace the camera I was told that I have to pay the difference of the camera because it was no longer on sale. The manager was completely inflexible and told me to call the Geek Squad if I had an issue. I called the Geek Squad and they told me it had to be handled in the store. They also stated that if I would’ve purchased it online and had it shipped then they would’ve been able to replace it for me at the same cost. Ultimately…the lesson here is to never purchase anything in the store. If for any reason at all you have to shop at Best Buy, you just shouldn’t. The in-store manager at this location also had terrible costumer service. I will never purchase anything from Best Buy again.

    I am a total tech member from two years. In DC Virginia store horrible geek squad, service rude horrible people.. I haven’t been to many Bestbuy’s in Las 2years this is the worst one. I still cannot believe it. I am at Best Buy. Total tech member at the Scott and this is happening. No quality control. When I ask for the manager, apparently he’s too busy also to come talk to the Guest.

    Walked in with a fairly new IPad that wouldn’t turn on. Tried all the ideas provided online. Met Bob at the Geek Squad counter, without an appointment. He said he would take a look at it, but it may have to be sent back to APPLE. Bob came back in about a minute with a fully functional IPad . “Just needed to be rebooted “. The problem solving online support didn’t work, but Bob did it!! Thanks Bob at Geek Squad at Dulles Best Buy (where we bought the IPad in December of 2022.)

    Freaking love it. This beat but has so much camera equipment from different brands. Outstanding service for first customer at 11 am on Sunday. Was able to get what i need with help before their cash register computer woke up from 010101 sleep.

    Great price. Nice to see the showroom model and get comparisons in person. Best Buy credit is ridiculous. I held for 45 minutes before hanging up and calling again. I was then told they'd have to review my credit more thoroughly for the next 10 days before I might be approved, which is odd for an 838 credit score, right? But I need a new dishwasher today, so I paid cash, which is why I'm giving 4 vs 5 stars. We'll see how installation goes on Tuesday.

    This went downhill so fast. It's a shame they have done away with The magnolia Department. It's still physically there but Best Buy no longer pays their employees a commission and it shows in the service that you receive. Had I known This was going to be the service I received after spending about $40,000 with them I would have taken that business elsewhere. One star is not low enough.

    This store I went to it has good people working there. They were helpful and paid attention every step of the way for an exchange on a product I had bought online. They are well mannered and what some describe as professionals. It is something that has become a rare thing in this world we live in. I mean genuinely good people in comparison to those who will also take a paycheck home but was not earned by striving to do good. I hope other people who go to this store come across same goodness I experienced. Thanks !

    SHOUT OUT TO DANIEL, JULIE, AND GHAZAL!!! I had such a terrible experience at a different Best Buy (Waldorf, MD) and went to this store next. Daniel and Ghazal were so understanding of my situation and helped me out in less than 10 minutes. I had to go back because the replacement order that was made was cancelled by the only store that had the product (also the Waldorf store), but Julie came to save the day as well. Overall, these people care and are willing to assist.

    Just okay. Went in for black Friday they didn't have half the products and not enough ppl helping customers. Also there are a lot of ways to just help yourself and don't have to speak to anyone but for someone who doesn't know that or what they need you are just left without knowledgeable staff. If I have to help myself I could have bought online. But it was clean and parking is ample

    This BB is great for finding anything you're looking for. However, I came here twice in a week and there is a low amount of staff at this particular location so depending on what you are looking for you might be in and out or it could take a while. I recommend ordering online for pickup 👍

    Alex is simply awesome. I am 71 years young, and he gave me a mini class on how to operate my brand new HP my husband bought me. He was patient, professional, informative and very kind. Got me all set up, and I am ready to go.

    Friendly staff.. I mostly order online and opt for store pick up. I did go in here one time to see something and the sales rep that assisted me was actually knowledgeable and even showed be a better option for a similar price.

    Love the selection of items in general. I always like to pop in and look at what's new. Plenty of sales associates to help you if you have questions. If you're bringing something in for repair, it is best to set up an appointment online, but you may get lucky and be able to get help anyway from the friendly staff. They also have electronics recycling (but not for batteries).
