Sandringham Museum & Stables Tearoom

👍👍 A very well run historical palace. Make sure you get to the church. It shuts early about 5, and for the best experience consider 4hours as about right. If you have an interest in gardens add at least one more. Cafes are good but shut 30 minutes before the house and grounds. No dogs, People often mention gardens, lovely,

Anyone who hasn't visited the Royal grounds and the little church at Sandringham, you are missing out. The gardens surrounding the house are spectacular, in a natural sort of way. The carp laden lake makes for some stunning views, and there are always seasonal changes to the fauna. Some of the plants and trees are really quite rare. The church just has to be seen.... words cannot describe the opulence that confronts you when you step into this small place of worship.

Really lovely gardens, such helpful staff. Kevin at the gate check in is such a lovely guy. The play area gets very busy. So busy I thought we had lost our daughter. The woodland walk is very nice. Will return. Definitely pay for your parking online to get a discount and check in at the ticket office so they can register your registration plate

The house is fabulous but you dont get to see a awful lot of it, but very interesting and worth taking the auio guide. You have to book a time slot so book in advance. Cafe was mediocre at best. What was described as a just tuna sandwich had spring onion in it. Sandwiches £4.50 were OK, cake was excellent. Overall I would say bring your own. No children's options Also pay for all day parking when booking tickets as vastly cheaper than hourly carpark. One thing that is brilliant is that you don't pay for children when visiting only adults, so makes it great if 2 parents and more than a couple of kids or 1 parent and child/children.

We only managed to do the gardens and museum, but it was beautiful. It was lovely to see the old cars and fire engines. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. There is also a cafe on site.

We went with a group of friends and their kids, we had a full day and there was loads to see. A perfect place to visit with family and friends. The play area is very very good and the kids will love it! The price to enter the garden might appear a bit expensive but actually I'd say it's worth it. Take a picnic and relax on the grass.

Really lovely afternoon. We didn't go inside as we hadn't booked tickets in advance & the next available were not til later in day but the gardens were beautiful. The views of the House, just stunning. An exhibition was on whilst we were there of their vintage vehicles.

The museum is small with a few vehicles and fire equipment but it is interesting. The tearoom has a good selection of drinks, sandwiches and snacks. It all tasted good and prices were reasonable.

Loved it. The gardens were lovely, so colourful and such a variety of plants, shrubs and trees. The staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable. Everywhere was clean and tidy and well kept. Only thing that let it down for me was the tea room at the stables. Over priced, the tea was the same price as the coffee and I had a slice of Victoria sponge cake, looked lovely with the cream/buttercream right at edge, only to discover that the filling was just jam with one blob of buttercream at the edge, also the slice was so small, definitely not worth £3.50. the church was also lovely.
