I rarely give such low reviews, and I want to be clear that everyone working there was VERY nice. However, it just took too long for mediocre food. It was just shy of 2 hours between the wait to order, the wait for food and then eating (there were 9 of us). I believe everyone there is doing the best they can, and if the food was better, I'd give another star. Could use more covered seating and shade for the waiting area.

Cute old-school little place with indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly people and tasty burgers. I’ve got the classic burger combo with fries, it was $15 with some change, and the food was good. Great place for a lunch or dinner if you’re visiting Kings Beach.

The burger was really great, but not the best one that I had. Can't say it is the best burger place at Lake Tahoe, but can say the best place if you looking for char-flavor decent burger.

If you are looking for a hole in the wall that serves a great burger in North Lake Tahoe, look no farther. The burgers were all great, and my wife was able to get a Portobello sandwich. The fries were also hot and crispy. Everything is cooked to order and they are small, so this leads to a little bit of a wait time. But it is well worth it.

In my discriminating opinion, their onion rings are unparalleled in taste. They achieve the perfect balance of crispiness without being greasy or soggy (The fries are basic). As for their mushroom burger and Cajun chicken, they are delicious! Now, when it comes to the staff, it's a mixed bag. The cashier we encountered during our visit was incredibly friendly, but unfortunately, the staff responsible for bagging orders seemed a bit grumpy. I can't entirely blame them considering the apparent understaffing. However, one aspect that could use improvement is the restroom situation. With only one available, the queue tends to become quite lengthy. Nonetheless, the overall experience remains delicious and enjoyable.

The service was fine. There was nothing I can think of that was bad about it. The food was absolutely amazing. The burger meat tasted great and the buns were also soft and flavorful along with the cheese. The fries were pretty good, but are nothing out of the ordinary. The atmosphere was cool. There were lots of vintage posters, and you could also see The cooks making the food.

It's true that the restaurant isn't very clean, but the food is delicious. They only have burgers, fries, baskets with deep fried stuff and sandwiches, but the prices and the taste are great.
