Good clean little hotel. I only gave 4 stars because in the morning the road noise was unbelievable. You will have a difficult time sleeping past 0600 here unless you’re a deep sleeper. I’m a trucker and it woke me up. Sounded like downtown LA outside my room. Other than that this is a nice place. I saw no bugs, my room was clean, the shower was hot and had good pressure. Smart TV in my room as well. And they offer breakfast here. I would stay here again, but bring some earplugs if you plan to sleep past 0600. Not the hotels fault though. Go Brandon.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Do NOT stay here if you want daily housekeeping service. It is advertised to have this and we would expect that for the price we paid. We've been here for four nights and haven't had housekeeping step inside our room the entire stay. No made up bed, no clean towels... Nada. We've called and were told they would bring towels to our room.... Nope, asked nicely, begged and finally went to the front desk to get our own clean towels. We will NEVER stay at another LaQuinta, but hope this isn't the usual way they do business. Very, very disappointing.

If I can do negative stars I would. The second night I stayed driving back up from Tennessee I thought my FIRST room was fine. But no: Both beds has BED BUGS and BLOOD on the sheets. Are you kidding me? Like do they even clean? I told the front desk and they didn't believe me. They switched my rooms from room 421 (with bed bugs and blood) to 521 with the smell of smoke even though the hotel is NON-SMOKING. The second room 521 had mold on the bathroom, more blood on the shower curtain, and barely any light in the room. Are you serious La Quinta? Are you really this disgusting? You have absolute ***** staff, **** food, ***** rooms as well as everything else. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT BED BUGS, MOLD, AND WHATEVER ELSE THIS HOTEL HAS.

We stayed on the first floor in a two queen bed room. Everything was fine during our stay. The only issue was operating the television, but otherwise my family&I really enjoyed our stay here. We will definitely book this hotel for future vacations. The staff was all friendly, helpful, and welcoming:)

First the good news: the staff, especially driver Bud, made me feel like family. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Now, the bad news. The tub was filthy, my room and the entire hallway smelled of cat urine, partially-used shampoo bottles were all that were provided, and dirty towels were strewn about the laundry room. It is a "pet friendly" hotel and housekeeping staff admitted to smelling cat urine but could not or chose not to identify the source or deal with it.

We had a great 2 night stay. The hotel is very clean and well kept. The room was nice with comfortable beds. They have a wide selection of items for the free breakfast. Waffles as usual, scrambled eggs, sausage patties and links, sausage gravy, biscuits, toast, bagels, English muffins, mini muffins, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, oj, apple juice, water, coffee, tea, etc.

Staff were professional and friendly. Hotel was quiet, room was clean, everything we used worked properly. It was nice to have options of fresh fruit at breakfast and a variety of teas. (Would also be great if they could include a gluten free bread option.) We will return when in the area.

Pleasant, convenient one night stay! Nice hotel. Very convenient to the Tri-Cities Airport. Unfortunately, this hotel fell short on the customer service (actually, the total lack of customer service!) Had the customer service aspect level been greater, I would have rated the hotel and property 5 stars. My partner and I needed a hotel near the airport for one night. I had an early morning departure, heading back home to Florida. Neither I nor my partner wanted to make the 2 hour drive early in the morning, so we chose to book a hotel room. I have previously visited this hotel several times while on business, many years ago. The hotel facilities and property is still very nice, much as I remember from my past visits. Although the hotel has undergone very nice upgrades and remodeling. This La Quinta hotel is a medium size property with 5 floors. It appears both the interior and exterior of the building has been remodeled and refurbished. The exterior has a handsome upgraded new paint scheme and look. The interior of the building, including the lobby, guestrooms and other common areas have a fresh, modern, upgraded new look and features. Our guestroom was quiet and comfortable. It is an average size hotel guestroom with King size bed, large flat screen TV, microwave, mini refrigerator and a small balcony! One of my favorite guestroom features here is the sink and vanity being outside the bathroom, making it easier for multiple people to shower and dress at the same time. The hotel also offers a small convenience store, complimentary breakfast and airport shuttle service. I did not experience the breakfast (I'm not a breakfast person!), but I did take the complimentary airport shuttle which is a very welcome and appreciated amenity. The only issue I had with this hotel is the indifferent and disengaged staff associates. Otherwise, this would have been a perfect hotel stay experience. At no time during my stay did I feel overly welcomed here. It took several minutes for I and my partner just to be acknowledged when entering the lobby for check in ( it seemedas if we were invisible!) Upon my departure the next morning, there was no one at the front desk. I sat in the lobby for approximately 20 minutes waiting on the airport shuttle, and no one seemed to be working the front desk. I signed up for the 6:30 am shuttle, at 6:29 there was still no sight of anyone in the lobby, so I approached a room adjacent the front desk to inquire about the shuttle. The gentleman said not one word, but he did go locate the shuttle driver and I made it to the airport on time. Despite the poor customer service I encountered, I still have an overall favorable impression of the hotel. Due to the convenience factor and well maintained facilities, I would certainly recommend booking this hotel. You will enjoy the refurbished look and upgrades, just don't expect an overwhelming amount of customer service.

This was everything needed in a roadside hotel. Very clean, comfortable, breakfast, quiet, this was spot on at this price range. I would definitely stay here again and recommend you consider it too. They have a small store in the lobby for some things you may need. Snacks, toiletries, and microwaveable food. Close to the freeway and fast food.

Very nice place to stay and affordable at that. We have had a great experience staying along with the nice breakfast and excellent shower pressure. The staff was always nice and quick to offer assistance with any request. Will be staying here again if needed in the future.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable but most of the buttons, including the volume, would not work on the TV or remote control. The slight makeover the rooms have been given is not worth the almost 200$ we paid. Only 1 working elevator and no vending in any of the vending areas

The Breakfast was amazing, the service was amazing, the hotel itself was very clean. It is a walk thru the parking lot with some stairs straight to the Cracker Barrel which was great. The rooms were pet friendly so I do understand that they can't be 100% but there was a strong cat urine smell in our room. The bathroom did not have good ventilation which caused quite a bit of mildew along the wall. Those are the only 2 reasons I didn't rate a 5.

I read all the bad reviews thought they were wrong. I would not stay here. Air-conditioning in room not working. Room had a steady stream of water running down out of faucet into the tub. 2nd elevator broken After driving 10 hours I had hoped for a better cleaner hotel.

Bed is on a sheet metal platform with handles. It felt like firm foam with a pillow topper. Pillows are the torn foam. Not a good night's sleep. Room needs to be updated. A fresh coat of paint at least. Not what I expected from LA Quinta.

Do NOT Book Here!!! Two rooms roaches in both. While I was trying to get a new room the second then a third time, 3 separate families came down to request refunds due to Un-cleaned rooms! Their refunds were denied and the families were told to call back at 6am the next day to speak to management. Also the night manager told me that my key even though it didn’t work still worked because they don’t Lick the side doors at night! UNSAFE, UNCLEAN, BEWARE!!

The rooms was ok. Could use some upgrades. The beds are on a metal slack that causes a horrible popping sound every time you make a move. All I heard most of the night was ppl getting in and out of the bed. TVs are a little small. Love the balconies. Breakfast was your usual hotel breakfast.

I didn't like this hotel at all. Their services were poor. The key didn't work the first time which was fixed later though. The toilet was filled with tissue papers. Although they provided good quality toiletries which was surprising in a 2 star hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We have yet to find a Laquinta that offers bad service and a bad night's sleep. We used the hotel laundry service and the night clerk was more than happy to change our dollar bills for quarters. We did not ask for room service between our 2 nights stay, but clerk supplied us with fresh towels.

STAY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK ⚠️ I always stay at La Quintas when traveling and this is BY FAR the worst I’ve ever been to. Let me break it down for you: 1) front desk dude with the gold chain who works at night is rude. Didn’t feel welcome upon arriving. 2) Hotel is advertised as pet friendly. Gold chain dude acted put out that we had our dogs. 3) hallways smell musty. 4) Room also smells musty. 5) ceiling is falling apart in bathroom. 6) debris/dirt in shower. 7) Room is WAY overpriced for the size. 8) Furniture looks like they were someone’s grandmas hand me downs. 9) Beds literally feel like rocks with a thin mattress topper placed on top. 10) Overall feels grimey and gross.

The rooms were nice but I felt like they weren't worth the price. The Breakfast was very nice with a lot of options. The staff was very nice to me.

My flight was diverted to Tri City Airport from CLT. Hospitality was top tier at this hotel. Management supported guests in giving them a place to lounge and conduct business post checkout while waiting for a later flight the next day. Very helpful staff. Thank You.

Extremely courteous and professional staff Clean rooms and bath The young man at the front desk was really helpful answering all my questions. Wish I grabbed his name but he’s such a quiet professional. Would stay here again if I pass by here to visit family across country

Stopped here for a night and had a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and handled all my needs effectively and efficiently. I only was there for about 12 hours but I enjoyed my stay. The best thing about this hotel is that I forgot something in my room and was told they would ship my belongings to me.

This place was ok. Pros: comfy bed, quiet room, easy location, balconies, mini fridge. Cons: a bit dirty, had a few stinkbugs and roaches around.

  • 3/5 Dana S. 1 year ago on Google
It was an okay room. It was clean, which is important. The tub floor felt weak and that was a bit weird. There was a patched hole in the shower that didn’t look good. Staff were friendly.

We were told we were getting 2king beds when I made the reservation but when we got there were only able to get 2 full. And the room didn't have a fridge. Other than that it was perfect! Lovely staff, clean, up to date!

This place is currently under construction INSIDE the lobby. Imagine a jackhammer 2 feet away from you while checking in. Heard throughout the building and all outside doors are uocked for workers to roam free. Got my money back and they were very nice about it bit I'd call ahead first and make sure this isn't still going on or it's UNBEARABLE.

I booked and prepaid for a room with two double beds. When I arrived, they "upgraded" me to a "larger" room with one bed. The room was not larger and the one bed was also a double bed. I went back to the front desk asking if they had any rooms with two double beds because that is the room I prepaid for and I thought the room they gave me was a downgrade. They didn't have any rooms that matched my reservation and their only solution was to cancel my room and refund my money. This was not an acceptable option to me because it left me without a room and I would have the burden of finding a new place to stay for the night. Ultimately I would have to say the staff was unhelpful and I cannot trust this hotel to honor its reservations.

Kind and helpful staff, room was older but, very clean and Breakfast was good. They picked me up from the airport at 11:45pm and when I got to the hotel my reservation was for a different day. No problem they moved it for me.

First room I was given on my first day was not cleaned nor did it smell like any sort of disinfectant materials used. The second separate day I stayed the room smelled like it had been sanitized but all the drains kept clogging. Both stays the beds are very uncomfortable and for a family of four two double beds was very uncomfortable.

Basic needs are meet amd they allow dogs. But rooms had mold and smelled bad. I had to switch rooms and settled with an less stinky room. Truly gross.

We enjoyed our stay. They called us the morning before our stay to see if we were bringing a pet and had our room completely ready in a clean pet friendly room. For a stay with a dog, it was smooth and had no issues. Customer service was exceptional from beginning to end. They were doing some renovations, which we knew coming in, and it didn’t impact our stay whatsoever. Will stay again next time we are in town!

Breakfast left something to be desired but I guess it was free after all. Pool needed some maintenance and a good cleaning but was pleasant enough. Rooms were outdated and linens needed refreshing (one of ours actually had a hole it was so threadbare). But I loved the location (perfect as a road trip stop) and the little balcony for fresh air. Staff was extremely friendly! Would definitely stop again.

The room was dirty, crushed chips on the floor, lots of dirt and dust around the bed and headboards. The bathroom was disgusting, looked as though water had poured through the ceiling at some point. The freezer had a box of pizza rolls in it that was frozen to the shelf. The hallway ceiling was literally falling down and the wallpaper was held to the wall with thumbtacks. The side door did not close, so no security there. Dog barked for half an hour at 6 in the morning. Breakfast was eh. And you will absolutely hear the people in the room above you. Staff was friendly enough...

Dirty. Bedside table had drink marks from last guest, drip marks of some kind down back of bathroom door, dirty tub including my favorite - hair from the previous guest. Not as alarming in comparison is the fact that the sink only runs warm or hot. There is no cool/cold water. And the a/c has a nice 4 second whistle it does at the end of every cycle. Don't stay here if you don't have to. I stayed here 7 years ago and it was great otherwise I would never have tried it again after an exponentially worse experience at a La Quinta in Columbus, OH. I can't wait to get back to camping tomorrow. I will take honest dirt over other people's filth ANY DAY. I'll attach photos when I get them downloaded.

HORRIBLE place. Huge Trash bin on backside of property full to overflowing with who knows what. Other trash cans stay overflowing, grass (weeds) has not been cut in years, it seems. Flower beds are in such bad shape, the black landscape weed protection fabric is showing everywhere... No mulch added in a long time. The inside, lobby, looks fine. But the hallways show incredible need for painting, updating. No water fountain, just a recessed area with plumbing exposed where one used to be, ice machine out of order 1st floor. One of the back doors broken to the point it won't close and lock (for security). Some vehicles look like they've been there for a while.... Flat tire, appearance of someone working on the vehicle, long term. THE PLACE IS A PIG PEN!

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Could not have stayed at a better place. The breakfast however could add additional ingredients such as scramble eggs instead of hard boil. They run out of bacon and switch to sausage. I was hoping to have bacon with my waffle.

  • 3/5 Nancy D. 1 year ago on Google
Rooms are clean but bathrooms need updating. Showers are step into tubs but have no grab bars for safety. Breakfast could stand more options. For example only cereal is either fruit loops or raisin bran. These cereals are both at opposite ends of spectrum. Best thing about LaQuinta is that pets are welcome.

I stayed on the evening of Jun12, 2022 after a long day driving. The person at the check-in desk did not know how to process the state tax exemption form, and neither did another person on duty. The front desk staff called the off-site manager and was told that I would have to wait until the morning. Although the exterior of the building looks new or newly renovated, the room was still fitted with old fashion (10+ years) furniture and decors. The was enough space between the door and the door jam to stick a pen through. I certainly used all locking devices on the door and put the ironing iron and the iron by the door before I went to bed. In the morning I went to the breakfast room at 7:15 am and there was no coffee! At checkout, I ask the front desk person, a different person from the day before to make sure my bill did not include state tax and the response was I should have mentioned it a check-in. I politely stated the circumstance and the response was, " that shouldn't have happened."... I just wanted to checkout with the correct folio.......

Did not enjoy my stay here. The stairwells were covered in dog urine. The laundry didn’t work. The a/c unit in the hallway soaked the rug with water for days. And to top it off, A hotel employee stole one of my lotto tickets. They only issue guests one key if they’re staying alone so when I came back to my room and noticed the ticket was gone I had noticed that the maid cleaned my room that day while I was at work. Not happy with my experience here.

The staff was able to provide a late night check-in and was very accommodating. I was traveling with two dogs and requested a pet friendly room. The entire hall on the second floor and my assigned room had a horrible and overwhelming stench of excrement and fluids. I only stayed a few hours and left as soon as I could. Horrible experience.

paid $185.24 for a room to wake up to roaches crawling in the bed when I turned on the lights and the floor was damp in several places with a light brown liquid in several spots that I discovered after taking off my shoes. was given a refund or at least told I'm getting one (we will see) after presenting proof of the roaches because they needed to "verify they were actually roaches and not beetles" as if it would be for any bugs to be crawling around in the bed. I'm assuming this is not the first time they have had someone complain. Needless to say I will not be staying there again...

When we got there the tv didn’t work, it took the staff 1.5 days to change the tv out for a 3 night trip. We had no hot water in our shower, after telling the staff 2 different times over a 3 night trip in 38 degree weather, they told us it would be fixed both times and it never was. We took ice cold showers for 3 nights. There was a dog 2 rooms down that barked all night long one night, that kept the whole hall awake most of the night. The hallway on the 2nd floor had a very musty dingy smell. All though the staff was friendly they did nothing to try and make things right. The manager didn’t offer a discount or anything. Don’t see this place staying open much longer without major changes.

Friends and I was going to stay at this hotel for a Nascar race. I received a phone call from a staff member that said we have to cancel your reservation for the weekend. Reason for cancelling was they was over booked. We was 15 minutes from hotel.I stop at hotel to see what is going on and staff was no help on finding another hotel. We drove over 400 miles so we didn't know where to go at the last minute. Someone needs to figure out they are over booked days before people get there. Staff needs to have better people skills and not just oh well now its your problem not ours. Fortunately someone did help us find a great hotel and it wasn't this hotel

Very nice location for being next to an interstate. Not much road noise. Rooms and property are well kept. Friendly staff and breakfast is plentiful and many choices. Good coffee as well. Close to gas/convenience store and a few decent restaurants.
