Was a good experience, the food was appropriately priced, tasted very good and options on menu were available. The portions were also very good. The wait was a bit long for the main course, but our waitress informed us of delays and ensured we were otherwise fine. I arrived at about midday and was busy but got extremely busy by abt 2-3pm and I assume after. The adjacent beach was well kept, minimal stray dogs. The restaurant was clean with little to no flies. The restroom was well kept. At the entrance a station was available for hand washing. The parking lot was spacious but water settled in varying area which prevented us from walking freely. Otherwise it was a good experience.

1st time dining at Sharkies and I will def return! Our server was awesome! So sorry I did not get her name! Food presentation on point! BBQ Wings were nicely sized and tasted well seasoned. Steamed and brown stewed fish dishes were awesome! Servings portions were awesome! Even the bathroom was awesome! And the prices.... AWESOME! Recommending some improvement to the jerk chicken which was a bit dry. Also had to ask for accompanying sauce. Overall a great experience!

The food was SO good 😩 ❤️ The atmosphere was beautiful. Naturally shaded by the big beautiful palm trees (lights up at night) and looks out to the ocean. The flavour is on point and so is the food. What else would you expect?! Best lobster you’ll ever had (either the pasta or in the platter). My mouth is watering as I remember the food and write this review lol.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. Located on the beach, where fishermen bring in fresh fish and seafood all day. This spot stays packed. They have an array of beverages to cool you down. Staff are very busy but friendly. Don’t leave Montego Bay without visiting Sharkies.

Loved the food. The service is definitely on Jamaican time but very friendly. If you're looking for a local place to enjoy real Jamaican food, I definitely want to try it out. I had the shrimp tacos, and they were so good that all the ingredients were fresh. The peppered shrimp were very spicy, but very good, and calamari was amazing.

Solid atmosphere. You can use the beach as well but sadly there isn't a dedicated working area to wash off after a swim. Food options are plentiful so you will find something on the menu to love.

Food was hot. Our waitress was nice and she was attentive. Quick service was provided. The restaurant was busy and refreshing. The customer turn around was good so the wait was not long. Overall I would definitely go back, nd I would highly recommend this restaurant. Beautiful surroundings and a nice vibe.

This place is located on the beach. We came here for dinner and the ambiance was awesome. Our server was Nelson and he did a great job at making us feel at home and catering to our needs.They offer an array of dishes to satisfy any appetite. There are multiple vegan options, a kids menu, seafood, chicken and beef dishes. The atmosphere is perfect for a date or even dining with the kiddies in tow. Be prepared for a wait because your meals are being prepared from scratch, but it is well worth the wait…I’d suggest having a few drinks, appetizers and even taking a stroll on the beach while you wait.

Having a large party od 12 people our Initial request to all sit together was denied. After much debate and a table coming available we were accommodated. Having inital words in the beginning definitely flowered to the server and it was evident. However, we made the best of the situation and in the end the experience was positively memorable. We tamed our egos and attitudes and had a wonderful time. Our waitress did a 180 in her engagement and all ended well. Great food and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I have heard a lot about Sharkies and decided to visit. I have had better tasting fried snapper. I was insulted at the wilted salad on the side. Appears to have been leftovers from the day before. I went just around noon time. It took a long time to get served. I understand it's COVID times and i was in Jamaica, but the wait was painfully long. The server was pleasant and courteous. I felt the meal was pricey. I ambiance was relaxing and cozy. The seating was toes in the beautiful white sand or under the hut near the bar. This restaurant is located on the north coast on the beach, along the deep blue Caribbean Sea. I am not dying to go back to Sharkie's but i would if had no competing options.

Great food and price. I had the deep fried lobster and it's highly recommend. Unfortunately due to the island wide curfew because of COVID-19 restrictions I was unable to experience dining

Adequate parking space with a nice beach... customer service was good eventho we had to wait a while to be served but thats expected. Nonetheless the food was great. ...worth the wait...my second time going and it surpassed the first time experience. ...dining space upstairs and downstairs 👍👍👍

Absolutely great food. The service was great, polite, prompt, informative about the cuisine. I do believe the portion sizes were hearty and value for money. The rum punch really did pack a punch. I was more than satisfied. I would recommend it to everyone and I will visit the next time I got to Jamaica. 10/10

This is a nice restaurant to try. I went there on a Sunday at about 1-2pm ,crowd wasn't bad at that time. Started with the seafood soup, and trust me when I say it was delicious😋.I would go there just for the soup...I also ordered steam fish..This was lovely too..I took the complimentary rice &peas. The rice was not that great. But the tasty steam fish with pumpkin was filling enough..I never needed to eat the rice... I would recommend this spot as the umbiance and customer service was good..

The food was great! The ambiance is great! The price is reasonable! I love the idea of having a meal and looking out at the ocean. There is a beach there, so you can take a dip and then eat or vice versa. For me this restaurant is go to whenever I want something authentic while on the North coast.

I always wanted to go to Sharkies and I finally got to go on my way back from Lucea for my birthday weekend last Saturday December 9. I had calamari which was is one of my favorites, Escoveitched fish, and chicken pasta. The food was good to be honest. I just love a good fish meal. The fish was large and I had to bring some home couldn’t eat it all so I asked for boxes to put was was left in. I ❤️ Sharkies ‼️

Absolutely amazing experience eating here at Sharkies! The food was perfectly cooked and the service was fast! We would definitely come back here to eat more and have more drinks.

I went from my hotel (Bahia principe) on a boat excursion, and we did a quick stop for snorkeling before getting to the restaurant. Food is delicious, but you have to be aware of the spicy dishes because they are brutally hot 🔥 🥵 the king crab 🦀 with garlic sauce is fantastic. They have a very nice small bar at the front where you can have an extra cocktail before heading back 😀 the view is spectacular, and the people are very friendly and welcoming 🙏 😀 😊

While I rarely write food reviews, I must commend this restaurant! Thanks to Chef Patrick for his exceptional gluten-free cooking, attentiveness to my allergies, and prompt service. Special thanks to Nene for seating assistance and Mice for welcoming smiles upon early arrival 10 minutes before opening. Troy, the bartender, crafted an outstanding rum punch. The overall experience was fantastic—highly recommend a visit to this location!

I don’t know what this drink is but it will knock you out (it might be Monday Night Raw) It’s the house special. Our server (Darren) was amazing!! Don’t have enough words the food was great got the steam fish, that’s a medium but the size 🤯🤯🤯. The ambience is great, music choices are clean, great environment to chill. Not to mention the beach front view…

We visited on a Wednesday evening. It was busy and a bit crowded, but the hostess was welcoming and kept us informed during wait time. We were seated less than 10 minutes of waiting. We ordered fish ( brown stewed & escovitch) which had a much longer wait time because they were done to order. Drinks were great, we could actually taste the alcohol. Food was well seasoned and delicious. Serving size was great as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and we highly recommend this spot.

The environment is simply nice, my waiter did a good job. He repeatedly checked upon us. I also observed other servers doing this with their tables. Food and refreshments was good. The service went smoothly, I enjoyed my experience.

We went to Sharkies with a big party on a Sunday night. They were busy and did not handle our large party well. Our food came out very staggered. There were people who had finished eating, while others still hadn't received their food. The music was so loud that we couldn't speak to each other or the waitress. They were also out of multiple things on the menu, so some people had to change their order a few times to find something they could eat! The plus was that the drinks and food were really good and it's on the water, so during the day, it's nice to look at.

The ambiance and service were great, and the wait time was short. The bbq wings were delicious, however the honey garlic wings caught us by surprise, there was a lot of honey! The wrap was rather dry, maybe because it was not warm. I brought it home and warmed it up and it was delicious. Overall a great experience and I’d definitely go back.

Very good food a cheap price!!! Had a whole king crab for $35 bucks… Staff was a young crowd… didn’t get our order right twice.., but delicious… 8 out of 10 must try again,,,

Food needs work. Rice and peas was not properly cooked..my fish was not fresh. Brown stew sauce too sweet. Seafood soup was good. Presentation was very good. Looked much better than it tasted. Still a cool spot to hang out.

Food was amazing!!!! I guess because we came during peak hours and ON A FRIDAY the place was full and we waited about 2 hours for our food 🥲 but it was worth the wait as we were entertained by the music and also the Bonfire. Great place for the family to come chill and have a delicious meal if you're in the Runaway Bay area. But try to come a little early!

The food was good overall. The fish dinners were well prepared, tasty, and done to specific order. The brown stew fish was ordered without hot pepper, and it came without the heat. The bammy and seafood soup was great. We were seated promptly, and our order was taken in a timely manner. The appetizers arrived as promised and tasted great (seafood soup and calamari) The service was mixed. Our waiter declared that no chicken dishes and only the extra large fish size were available. After waiting over an hour, the extra large fish turned out to be two medium fishes on each plate. Instead of the extra large single fish, he claimed it was only available. The busser was kind and meek, and she helped to bring boxes for our *extra* fish and escort our elderly grandma out to the car.

Sunday afternoon and completely out of cold beer and a few other requested drinks. We were a party of nine and the service was ok for our group size. We had a few wrong orders and misunderstood requests. The waitresses were friendly and professional through it all. The atmosphere and setting were top-notch, but the flies took away a little of that pleasantness, but that's nature for you.

The service at this restaurant was quite not what I expected. The food is great and the view is excellent. You get to enjoy an at osphere that appeals to the senses. The smell of fish, the sights of boats and the songs of the seagulls make an excellent environment for eating.

Great ambiance, right on the water. Staff is very friendly. Food is delicious. We had a corporate get together. DJ and service was excellent. They operate past curfew times which is very convenient.

Its great for a chilled spot, birthday or just a nice date. They have a wide variety of sea food... Food is delicious. It has a nice ambiance as your next to the beach. Would definitely recommend

I have always dine at Sharkes whenever I am on the Island. The food is always on point, taste and presentation 😋 👌. Staff is friendly and the environment is always clean and welcoming. I am in Jamaica 7-10 times per year and Sharkes is a "MUST". Highly recommended💖🍸
