Fantastic service and location... We really enjoyed our stay there before the medieval festival... For a youth hostel, they are very well organized, efficient and helpful.... I can only recommend this place

the place (castle, area) is a-ma-zing! beautiful hikes, great accessibility, wonderful castle gardens, beautiful decorated common rooms. the rooms failed for a couple of silly details: the doors cant be hold open, soeverytime u get out, u'll bezter think of having the key w u. we were staying in two in the room, mom and kid, so it was really complicated, also because there was just one key. also, there was not a glas in the room. small detail, very annoying. we payed 200chf for the room. for such a beautiful castle i can accept the price. but the breakfast was really average and u had to pay extra for crpissants. that made me feel that it was overpriced. it was a coolexperience but probably just one time. personal was really nice!

We had a photoshooting here as a local collaboration. Really beautiful rooms! Even a room full of toys for your toddler.

Amazing location to a very fair price. Clean, newly furnished rooms. The double bedrooms are boutique hotel like. The staff is kind and helpful. Definitely wrth a stay. Special note for late dinner eaters: restautant kitchen of the castle closes at 9pm.

The beds aren't too comfy and they take ages to bring food that is mostly centered around the same type of vegetables over and over again (tomatoes and zucchini). Staff is really friendly and fluent in German, English and French though.

Best castle ever in everyway.. Come and see for yourself, or else you will never know...

Die Zimmer sind schön gestaltet im modernen Mittelalter-Stil. Die Lobby und das Restaurant sind eindrucksvoll. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ideale Kombination mit dem tollen Museum. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Die Lage ist beeindruckend. Hier kann man ein Wochenende auf dem Schloss verbringen. Dazu gibt es ein tolles Museum und Rundgänge für alle Altersstufen. Der Haken ist leider das Restaurant – reguläre Gäste sind willkommen. Als Jugi-Gast mit Halbpension aber fühlt man sich als Gast 2- oder gar 3. Klasse!

Took a trip from Interlaken do a walk from Burgdorf and take a picnic using our Grand Tour snack box as this is one of the places you can get a refill. Went to the counter and was told that they couldn't do it. Totally spoilt the day. Would give less but not possible.

This place is very nice. Beautiful views, nice clean rooms. Restaurant. Common area with work places. (There is no common kitchen, but restaurant is available). You can visit the castle museum and enjoy special place 🏰 Personnel is very friendly. Price is also nice.
