after so many years I ate it so yummy channa chaat , samosa, and daal soup and dessert Ice cream with mango sauce it was very delicious.

Pretty good food nice place. Be aware if you want to take away leftovers they will just throw everything (two different orders) into one container which I personally find bad service.

A very warm and welcoming restaurant. We got a complimentary chai and Mango creme for a group of eight people 🤪 which is very very rare and kind :) The staff is very friendly and serve delicious food for both vegetarian and non vegetarians. It was fully packed on a Saturday evening o highly suggest to reserve the Table. I would definitely visit again :)

Most delicious food I ever had...was on a trip to penzberg and planned to visit that place to satisfy my craving for this amazing food..the atmosphere was really good, staff was amazing, food quality was also amazing... Would recommend everyone to give a visit to this place.

I have been to a lot of Indian restaurants in all of Europe and can safely say that this restaurant is in my TOP 3. The Dal Makhani was just exceptionally delicious and authentic. The staff, specially Laddi uncle made us feel like that we are eating at home. And cannot believe that probably the best Indian restaurant in Germany is in a small town of Penzberg.

There are several Indians restaurants in Penzberg, but this one is the best comparing the others. They have also garden resto, it will be available in Sommer and bring extra nice atmosphere while enjoying the dish. The staff also nice and Friendly. You will have a small chai tea ☕️ or mango pudding 🍮 as complimentary. Really recommend! 👌🫡

More than happy to give this restaurant the full 5 stars. We visited at short notice for a birthday celebration. The food was delicious and there was a great choice to choose from and all at a good price. We love Indian food and this is certainly the best we have had so far in this area. Service was superb! Best indian authentic food i have ever tried in Germany. I was there with my four other friends. We all are actual foodie. We ordered 5 Sabjis and the most important thing is all of them had its unique taste. The staff and service is also very good.

Not to use identity politics, but I am from the SF bay area and Indian descent so Ive had my fair share of Indian food... This was some of the best I've had! Had the fish pakora, and lamb vindaloo (made extra spicy), both were amazing.

This is truly a restaurant of the highest order. It features an extraordinary atmosphere, extremely friendly and welcoming staff and top tier Indian food. This is by far the best Restaurant in Penzberg making it one of my favorite places to go for a meal.

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been around the Munich area. The quality of the food particularly Naan and Mango Lasi is very good.

We have been going to Shiva regularly for many years and always loved it. They have wonderfully delicious and amazing Indian food including vegan, vegetarian and meat options, so our whole family is happy. People are very friendly and welcoming and you immediately feel very comfortable there as a guest. I highly recommend coming here if you love authentic Indian food in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

It's no surprise that the restaurant has a rating of 4.9/5. Authentic flavors. We ordered 4 different dishes and they were all absolutely amazing. Outside of India, I've had the best butter chicken. The staff was excellent. Definitely recommended.

Always a tasty meal! I have been in Germany for over 3 years and this is still the best Indian restaurant we've found. You may ask: what does an English bloke know about Indian food? Well, I'll tell you. In the 1950's and onward, many Indian immigrants relocated to England due to a change in the law that gave Commonwealth citizens free entry into Britain. Of course, these immigrants brought with them their food and culture. Many Indian restaurants opened and generations of families continue to serve a tasty curry up until today. So the British and Indians are not connected just through a common monarch (sorry about that), cricket, and integration into the British armed forces, but also the sharing of a delicious cuisine, one that is considered a national weekend staple of all British citizens. That's why an English bloke knows a good Indian restaurant when he 'tastes' one, and I say Shiva is the best in the area.

We headed to this restaurant after an adventurous hike. The owners are the most friendliest people I have ever met! The food was amazing and tasted just like home made food! There weren’t any food colouring or too much oil in the dishes. The dal makhani was very delicious! We left with our tummy full and heart content. Will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Home like hospitality like nowhere in whole Europe. I have lived in Europe for last 11 years and I was pleasantly amazed to discover this gem! The food absolutely brought me back home (India).. the owner takes special care of your taste buds! Amazing aroma, amazing taste and best hospitality! This place is a hidden gem you must try!

We stopped here for lunch whilst returning from a roadtrip. Much to our surprise this wonderful restaurant has parking and a beer garden. The staff were so kind, friendly and welcoming. It was a real treat. The meals were prepared home-cooked style and reminded me of meal times with family. Thank you for a wonderful experience and the delicious meals.

Very good food and very friendly reception by the staff and management. The staff and the owner are very friendly and welcoming. Even though we went for a pick-up, we ended up staying much longer for a chat and on the house drinks. The food itself is delicious and makes you look forward to the next visit.
