We went there for a weekday lunch. The service isn't fast because everything was cooked to order and it was... fantastic. Well worth a visit, we'll go back for sure.

The Wolfbarsch is a restaurant so exquisite and high quality, you would expect it in the heart of Munich and not in the outskirts of Vaterstetten. But I actually think that's a good thing. This way the restaurant is not overrun with tourists and instead you get to enjoy absolute top tier level fish and meat in a calm yet vibrant atmosphere. Dining here is a celebration of finest cooking craftsmanship. I had a steak made in heaven, my friends enjoyed perfectly prepared lamb and octopus. The prices are on the higher end of the spectrum, the experience and the quality makes more than up for it.

Had my anniversary lunch there and had the lobster 4 courses menu. I can say that every dish was charged with flavor and the price was quite ok for what was given. I had in other occasions take away, for example wagyu burger which i think was cheap (special meat, potatoes and it was almost the same price as in other places) and the flavor was delightful. I totally recommend this restaurant if you want a gourmet experience.

Great taste ever since living in Germany

It’s really rare to find such a good fish restaurant. Very fresh and super tasty 😋 the stuff was always friendly. Nothing to complain and highly recommended!!

A tasty culinary experience that you will really enjoy. I have had Sashimi that almost melt in my mouth - a wonderful dainty and worth the price! BUT: The prices generally are beyond good and evil and not acceptable for non-exotic food like local fish and vegetables. Sorry, but I can't support this. The setup of the restaurant is nothing special, but the exquisite dishes let one forget about the environment.

This is a review only for the sushi takeout. The quality of the fish was generally high with the toro sashimi being the best. However the scallop sashimi was not fresh and had strong smell.
