One of the best wildparks I have been to since being in Germany. Quite a large variety of animals and all of them are very friendly. They have decent sized areas to roam and most of them can go where they please around the area. This is a great spot for families to take their children or come to have a picnic during the day.

One of my favourite wildparks (probably my favourite of the smaller, privately run ones). It has a very nice, casual vibe and the staff we've encountered have been super friendly. Lots of friendly animals you can feed and pet and good value for money (9 euros each for adults). Most of the mammals have beautifully spacious enclosures and seem happy and well looked after. Some of the birds of prey could do with better enclosures, but many of them are being moved into nicer avairies soon anyway. The nice wide spacing of most of the fencing is nice for photography and it has some very special animals like the rare white red deer (we came the first time specifically to see and photograph them). Although some of the specific attractions like the bird show and arctic fox feeding are temporarily suspended due to the winter season and Covid restrictions, there's still enough to keep you busy for around 3 hours (and the arctic foxes can still be handfed from outside of their enclosure by buying specific dried food from the nearby vending machine, just watch your fingers!). As my husband would say '10/10. Would get dribbled on by a moose again'.

Potzberg is an amazing place to hike and enjoy nature. In the winter it is also an excellent place to go sledding and let out some energy. I highly recommend visiting the wildlife park as well whenever it is open. the staff are amazing and the shows are spectacular!

This wildlife park became a family favorite. It’s a little bit out of the way but totally worth the drive. There’s a wide array of different animals that you can see. I loved how much you can interact with many of them. The bird show is fun even if you don’t speak German because several of the birds are named after famous Americans and it’s funny to hear those names randomly popping up during the show. Highly recommended.

Really nice park. The walking paths are well maintained. We brought our stroller wagon and it wasn't an issue though some of the trails can be a bit steep. Also some of the fences are electric so make sure you watch your littles. You can get really close to the animals. At the entrance there is a playground and a pen of goats you can play with. The restaurant has great food. Highly recommend the schnitzel and fries. You can also purchase pellets to feed the animals.

My family enjoyed our visit here very much. There was a little bit of an issue when we first arrived, being able to pay and get in to the park. We were there during the Christmas holidays, so we assumed they might be closed; thankfully, someone found us before we left, and we were able to pay our entry fee and purchase some food for the animals. The park / zoo is large and has a lot to offer. Several species that we hadn't seen up close before, a few petting areas, and a large walk through area. It was a great way to get the family outdoors and do something fun with the kids.

We had a really great time here at the Wildpark. You need around 2-3 hrs minimum to relax and enjoy the park. It is stroller friendly but certain paths are not so smooth. Make sure you carry enough cash with you because they do not accept cards here. That’s a big disadvantage because there no ATM nearby and everything from entrance ticket to restaurant only accepts cash. There’s wide variety of animals in the park and it happy to see that they roam around in big enclosures. Only certain birds are caged and some tied up with their legs ( which I found as not so nice to be honest ). The bird show at 3pm was nice as we could see very big eagles flying. But unfortunately the commentator explained everything in German which I could not understand. Alll in all , I would totally recommend to come here and enjoy half a day.

Went there months ago and it's a nice Wildpark. I would give it a 5 stars if it wasn't for the staff who treated us so disrespectfully. I've asked at the entrance if dogs are allowed and they said it was not a problem. So as we were walking around we saw the eagle show and walked there thinking the birds are somehow held. The man presenting shamed us out loud for coming there with a dog. Next to us were at least 5 employees and none said anything before the show was starting. Then kept saying that there are so many signs everywhere. I specifically looked and saw no sign. Next time treat your costumers like human beings. I really wasn't trying to kill my dog or break the rules.

Diese wird mit sehr guten Informationen über die Vögel und mit interessantem Fachwissen um die Vögel herum abgehalten. Die Pfleger haben zu Fragen stets eine Antwort und erklären alles sehr gut. Die Gastronomie befindet sich in einem Blockhaus, welches sich sehr schön in die Anlage einbettet.
