I had the 5 bean chilli jacket potato with a side of roasted vegetables and a very good ale for £9.30. No problem to try before I bought from the helpful Shannon. Clean throughout the restaurant. Try the Chinook ale.

Lovely pub plenty of space to sit. Very friendly staff and excellent for a meal out. Very lively atmosphere and perfect for either a long walk out or a social with friends and family Bit of a problem with the Weatherspoons app as 2 tables didn't appear when ordering food.

Its dull and uninspiring. Looks grubby, dirty with stained carpet and seats. All these establishments need updating. Cheap food and drinks but that's it. Quite a lot of people in and the level of noise was so loud I couldn't hear my partner sat next to me. Don't play music at this one either.

Amazing customer service, felt welcomed and wasn't too busy. Toilets were spotless and the food was spot on, came out fast and was served hot.

This Wetherspoons felt a little less clean than other I have visited. Unfortunately I fell I’ll shortly after visiting here and couldn’t finish my meal due to feeling unwell. The service and prices however are just as good as any Wetherspoon.

Generally you can rely on a Wetherspoons. Nothing fancy but great value, well cooked food but if you can't get bangers & mash right there's something wrong. Lumpy mash, thick sticky gravy even more lumpy than the mash & poor tasting bangers & who decided to serve it in a pudding bowl?

Proper town pub. Decent food. Decent prices beer and food. Great staff. Best place to sit at front and watch town go by.

We were visiting from overseas and needed to hang around dor a few hours until our taxi to airport. The manager was very helpful, and after explaining our situation he advised us that there were charging points for our phones should we need them. We had unlimited tea and coffee and the food was very nice. Service was excellent and all staff were very friendly.

My husband and I moved to Huddersfield in September 2022... At that time, we did not rate Wetherspoons and on the occasions we went in, preferred other Wetherspoon branches.. HOWEVER That has now changed and we have become regulars who go in there to eat, largely because of how good things have become under the management of George and his team. I believe I am right in saying George is the General Manager. George is exceptionally customer focused, has a fantastic attitude and has really turned things around. The food is always delicious and we know it will go from strength to strength! In terms of star rating, George himself gets a clear 5 out of 5! As a mature student (in my 40s), my husband and I have to carve out time for togetherness. Going there means I can work, study and have a change of environment and we know we will get good value for money. Thank you so much!

The usual wide range of good quality and sensibly priced beers. Food good. Haven't visited wetherspoons for several years and still surprised to find that they don't seem to employ sufficient counter staff.

The Bishops farewell beer was old and stale, tasted bad. Told the staff, but they didn't replace my drink or take it off sale even though it had gone off, shows how poor they are trained and what they think of their customers

With few exceptions, the staff have an appalling attitude and look down their noses at and are rude to their customers. They've driven this long-standing customer away, and judging by how empty the pub is most nights, they've driven most of the town away too.

The Cherry Tree is often busy no matter the time of day, as with many Wetherspoons. The food is hit and miss, again, as with many Wetherspoons branches. Cheap drinks though, fast service and more often than not there's always a place to sit. Can't really complain as a place to have a quick drink/bite to eat.

A nice bright bar, went in for breakfast and enjoyed it, service was excellent and quick. Easy to find from the train station and the local shopping area.

My first visit, the pub was quiet, not always a bad thing but I was disappointed that the Ruddles Best wasn't available. Staff neither friendly nor unfriendly so just an OK score. I'll visit again to see if the Ruddles is back on.

The outside of the pub looks a little run down. Inside looks dull and was dark. Food was nice but cold. My daughter and I had food. A small pizza and a burger. They were nice but on the colder side. Quick service however.

This place is Ok, but it struggles to do the food side of things with any great success. Went here mid afternoon on a Saturday after the university open day. It was moderately busy. I ordered at the bar, which was fine, the barmaid was quick and efficient. After I had paid I was told 45 minutes wait time. Nicer to say before. However we were in no rush. The food arrived around 50 minutes later. It was average but hot and served on warm plates. Sadly my burger was dry, uninteresting and fairly tasteless. I asked for some ketchup to help, there isn't any. Mayonnaise? Nope. Salt and pepper? No. The others had a panini and a vegetarian wrap. Again it was hot but needed condiments of some sort. Won't eat here again.

The best about this place is the cheap drinks, especially cocktails and the lovely gins they put on offer, they have a big selection. The food is basic but edible and the staff are nice. It's a very sociable place

Nice place to stop for a quick pint or a meeting with friends. Always a table available and no matter what time, always has a great atmosphere. Typical wetherspoons - toilets are disastrous!

Absolutely quality spot. Particularly love seeing the old boys in at 9:02am with a paper and a pint. Cracking way to start the day 👏🏻 only strange part is there must be something that causes allergies in the toilets. Always here poor lads sniffling in the cubicles while they're trying to have a minute to themselves. Probs best to have an anti histamine before going

We visited on a Saturday morning before the rugby, service was good and served quickly even though they were really busy. Breakfasts came out in good time and was nice and hot. Will visit again next time we in Huddersfield.

Always clean and quick service. Nice for a catch up and quick pint, or a bite to eat, whatever the weather or time of day. A bog standard spoons!

We came here for food and as usual in spoons it was really good. Some people inside were really noisy but we managed, not spoons fault. Have been before and would come again, cheers guys.

Great Central bar. Went on a concert day and it was very busy, but the staff were excellent and worked very hard to get everyone's orders sorted as quickly as they could. Recommended. 👌🏻

It is ok for what you pay. I ordered a welldone steak, I got a medium but I did not mind as I eat the medium sometimes. The atmosphere is average. If you are looking for a quick not very expensive meal then it is he right place to go.

Food good had 2 full english breakfast s and eggs benedict in the last few visits all fine.

The staff were friendly, the service was fast and the food was pretty good. I had the vegan breakfast which was £4.15 without tea and coffee. They have an interactive allergy kiosk which was very useful as I am lactose intolerant.
