My
review
covers
two
points.
One
is
Marstons
policy
and
service
towards
walk-in
customers
and
the
second
point
is
food
quality.
It
is
Marstons
policy
to
turn
walk-in
customers
away
if
the
shop
has
received
too
many
online
orders.
This
is
the
opposite
to
other
food
businesses
who
will
turn
off
their
online
ordering
temporarily
to
be
able
to
service
walk-in
customers.
We
stood
in
the
line
for
ten
minutes
outside
in
the
rain
to
give
our
food
order
to
their
outside
customer
staff,
only
to
be
turned
away
because
we
had
not
ordered
online.
There
is
no
clear
indication
of
this
policy
on
their
Facebook
page
or
their
website.
Second
part
of
my
review
is
the
quality
of
the
chips.
These
are
par
chilled
chips
and
did
not
travel
well.
We
drove
five
minutes
from
the
shop
to
eat
our
food
in
the
lay-by
toward
the
m62
and
found
the
chips
to
be
hard,
as
though
they
had
been
cooked
a
long
time
prior
to
serving.
The
quality
of
actual
chips
in
the
portion
was
about
half
the
portion,
the
rest
were
bitty
parts
of
chips,
as
per
the
photo.
