The best park in Huddersfield and surrounding areas. So many levels to it, making it look totally different everywhere you walk... It has something for everyone! I live right next to it so I'm lucky enough to see it through the seasons, with My dog Mabel. There are 2 playgrounds for the kids, one with a zip line. Cafe and ice cream van. Also plenty of tennis courts and a skate park. Honestly, it has everything you need to have a great time here.

This is an absolute beautiful park, great atmosphere, well kept and great access. There are mild inclines throughout the park that makes it great for walking. The only think that I would say was mildly disappointing was the pond, otherwise an excellent place to spend the day.

Lovely park. Lots of space and interesting things to see. Nice and clean. Refreshments available. Tennis can be played, Crown Green bowling can be played. Presume with your own equipment! Really enjoyable walk before we went to town.

What a brilliant park, with so much to do. Great views and so many different things. Beautiful lake, basketball, bandstand, duck pond and a skate park to name a few. Go for yourself with a family or a couple or a stroll alone! It is a lovely park and plenty of seating on benches. Clean, well kept grass and hedges. Loads of parking on main road on either entrance so no worries about that. The ice cream van charges £2.50 for one single cone which is ridiculous.

Didn't see much of it actually. It's all green, lots of space for picnics or to do some sports or play games. Nice place to spend your weekend with the family or friends.

Well kept park with lots of play areas and outdoor activity grounds. Played about 2 hours of basketball and then sat in the shade while reading a bit. Very relaxing and quiet!

Lovely park, nice and green. No rubbish plenty of swings and slides for the kids to play on whilst the benches are hogged by parents enjoying the picnic. Plenty of wildlife from swans and ducks to insects hard at work pollinating the flowers. Lovely day out.

An absolute gem of a park. A good size and very well maintained park with lots to fo including feeding birds, playgrounds and a small train track. The birds are very friendly the pigeons will actually stand on your arm and let you stroke them! I counted three playgrounds and I saw a tennis court also. This is a must visit if you're in Huddersfield on a nice sunny day!

It's very big park and beautiful. We had a great time. It's very relaxing. Lots of things to do for the kids, like skateboard, tennis, swing, cycling, basketball, feeding the ducks, walking dogs, picnic or just chilling.

Beautiful park and gardens on the edge of Huddersfield. It's got tennis courts, skate park, bowling greens, a Pavilion with cafe and toilets, cafe inside the conservatory, children's play area, fountain, bandstand, lakes and a war memorial. It's a well maintained and popular park.

Spent an hour in this lovely park this afternoon while we were in Huddersfield. Enjoyed a little picnic on one of the many benches in & around the park. Lovely wide pathways, a lovely bandstand, a massive playarea, a nice sized lake, so quite a bit to enjoy. The park slopes up towards the church but nothing too steep for people with mobility issues. Nice to see wildlife using the lake although it was severely lacking in water due to the hot weather and hopefully will be replenished soon and save the lovely ducks calling it their home. Greenhead Park is definatly worth a visit as its not far from the town centre.

Beautiful place to visit! Was nice to have so much space even though it was busy, plenty of places to sit, walk, eat, drink, play you name it, dog friendly and restrooms to use too. Lovely place for all generations ❤️

Beautiful large well kept park with bowling green and tennis courts. Nice little cafe and lovely play areas for children. Lake with ducks but unfortunately the paddling pool and fountains were empty. 😢

Lovely bank holiday spent with the children. We visited the funfair and the park. So nice to see some normal life again.

There are 3 playgrounds, 2 large ones and a smaller one for younger children and babies. All very good and well kept, the kids spent ages happily playing and they'd of easily spent longer had I let them. Nice little climbing frames on the way up to the cafe too, the kids enjoyed this little touch. The cafe is very well priced, I usually cafes within parks quite expensive but this is really good, good choice of icecream flavours too, inside the cafe it is a little small to move around inside especially with a pram but we managed! Also a beautiful walk to be had within the grounds, can easily spend a few hours. One of our favourite local parks.

Massive park, lots for the kids to do...made even better last night by a group of musicians playing drums etc last night near the bandstand. Had hoped that the paddling pool was filled as it was another 26° scorcher today.. Had to be content with the 3 different playareas..all well maintained and clean

Nice little park to walk round and take your kids to play in the park. Got public toilets and 2 nice cafes for food & drinks, it has a skat park, tennis courts and bowling so lots to do. The only problem with the place it hasn't got a car park, the only parking their is, is parking round the park on the main road and if it's busy you will struggle to park they are some disabled spaces in-between each gate to get in.
