Really disappointed with our visit today. All previous visits have been good. Through no fault of the staff though. So so much stuff was out of stock. We came for a new bed and every single double bed we looked at was out of stock, also out of stock online. The only other thing we wanted was meatballs. Again none left in the store. Its a long way to travel from where we lived and unfortunately it felt like a wasted journey. Again this is through no fault of the staff any enquiries we made they were as helpful as they could be given the lack of stock. However don't leave your trolley unattended, ours was taken with the furniture we had chosen on it.

I arrived on a Sunday afternoon dreading my trip but happily it was quiet. I quickly made my way round the maze picking up the ikea standard purchases as I went, kallax, some random kitchen tool I didnt know I needed. a cuddly toy, more storage boxes with a quick stop off for meatballs half way. I would say if you are going for something specific definitely check stock levels before you make the trip as the past few times I have had to rethink due to being out of stock.

Visited this store for the first time. The restaurant is right in the middle of the store which is a very odd location. Most branches have the restaurant at the exit which makes sense as you want to go for a snack after you've completed all your shopping. A student promotion was on offer but the website and app was down which is a pointless marketing promotion. The girl at the check out mentioned that a lot of their customers complained of the same website issue. I spoke to the manager but she said nothing can be done. How incredible. How not to run a marketing campaign. Offer a promotion to customers but not offer it really and blame it on the technical issues of the website. Not beneficial for the IKEA brand. Running an inept marketing promotion.

Usual IKEA experience which is always very good. Store well presented and stocked, staff helpful, toilets clean and restaurant is great. No complaints and will be returning when next in the area.

Terrible wait times. Only 3 counters open, self checkout closed, people were waiting 20-25 minutes just to get served. Ikea needs to get a grip and solve this issue. Absolutely ridiculous, will definitely not be back.

Large ikea just off the m62 in Leeds. Convenient location at the Birstall shopping complex. Has a large multi-storey car park with 2m height limit. And then a smaller car park at the back for taller vehicles. Has everything you are likely to need from an ikea. Showroom is well presented. Restaurant is quite large and the market hall has a lot of choice being one of the larger ikea stores. It gets very busy at the weekend, especially the restaurant. If you want to browse peacefully best off going on a weekday evening. The birstall shopping complex also gets really busy and the traffic management isn’t great. Best off turning right out of Ikea to avoid it.

I love IKEA so 5 stars from me. Great for small and large items, storage, room layouts, colour ideas. Didn't know I needed some things till I saw them. Great value for money, good cafe and lots of parking.

We decided to go to the IKEA cafe. We tried to join the queue and the cashier shouted at us "we're closed we're closed. The exit sign has been put up. The exit sign had been put up". How were we to know an exit sign means closed so we left. As we were walking away I saw another member of staff. So asked her when the cafe would reopen. She said it isn't closed they have just stopped serving breakfast but will start serving dinners at the other side. She was lovely. So really if the cashier had said sorry we have stopped serving breakfast but you can get a dinner from the other side. That would have been helpful. Instead of being extremely rude and aggressive.

Amazing as always, was slightly shock at the amazing range of fake flowers! Actually stunned. Going to be using these for wedding bouquets.

Everything you need to furnish your home and more. Easy to navigate your way round found the staff to be very helpful. The café serves a decent menu at low prices. Give your self plenty of time if you're going to take a good look round easy to spend 2 to 3 hours.

Amazing experience, they have got everything you need. Inspiration everywhere, well organised, offers and touch screen to help you find your items. I recommend you download the IKEA app, so that you enjoy specials discounts. The only thing is that is very far away from the bus stop.

Drove to Leeds as it was the only ikea with stock of the item I need. Didn’t realise until we got there that there was a play area where I could leave my daughter to play whilst we shopped. She loved it in there! Food was good, took a little while to wait but it was busy. Staff were friendly and the outdoor play area was great too!

Typical IKEA store full of household items that are necessary to furnish a home without breaking the bank. Great for those just setting up their first home and in the current climate a much welcome business. However it still bugs me that I am obliged to trail through every single department in the store in order to be able to purchase what I needed.

I love IKEA, you get to wander around and see all these home ideas while you shop. Stopped in for Christmas decorations (and some other stuff) this weekend just gone. Great selection of items. It was busy, took a little while to find a parking space and there was a pretty big queue at the checkout but it went by really quickly.

Always love a visit to this IKEA! The store is brilliant and over the years of visiting, the place just keeps getting better. Improvements are continuously made to the theming of certain areas and it just makes shopping that bit more interesting. Access is easy just situated next to Birstall Retail Park and there is enough parking, however we do find that parking bays are on the slightly narrower side. The store always has friendly staff on hand for help and advice and buying your items is normally pretty easy at both manned and self-checkouts. You can't beat an IKEA, with their great quality, low prices and brilliant designs. With a visit to this IKEA, it's never a disappointment.

So many simple solutions for the home at an affordable price. I do always get lost though, despite the arrows! And we were looking for an item for a long period of time, having checked out location and having been directed to various different locations by 3 staff members, before the final one took pity and checked on her device which differed to the website and said there weren't any in stock but more were expected overnight! The free spare parts from returns is a useful aspect when you've lost a connection, increasing the life span of items. And the food and drink are very affordable. Despite the above comment on finding items, all staff were very friendly and tried to be helpful. Two of them outshone the rest, one due to expert knowledge of item builds and the other for taking the extra step above. The store was thankfully busy, but not crazy busy. Good day and now to order the larger items for delivery.

Plenty of parking, helpful staff, easy stock picking, not many people. A delight to wander around this time. Goods bought were great quality and good value. Home delivery service also a great feature at a fair price too.

Brilliant, well laid out store. Easy to follow signs. Lots to see and touch. Wide variety of designs colours and shapes. Nice seasonal decorations were available. Stopped for a quick snack, there was a wide choice of foods available. The staff were all helpful and nice.

Currently it's a building site so I wouldn't bother going as it awful. Dirty and a bit of a waste of time. Restaurant need some customer service training and staff were appaling. Collection point for click and collect is a joke. You can get stuff over railings and trolleys don't fit through gap.

50 min cafe queue is ridiculous. Come on IKEA, what's going on? More staff needed? Better cooking systems for the volume of customers. Really poor

Don't bother! Customer service terrible! atmosphere is cold, confusing. The layout displays are amazing but this is just to lure you in my opinion. You go to buy something only to discover the whole set is not completeor Items missing. No help for returns. They just offer to purchase another item or similar. I wouldn't give it one star if it didn't allow me to go further

Well laid out, helpful staff and cheap restaurant. Visited new years day and was very quiet, had breakfast at the restaurant that cost £10 for three of us including drinks (bargain) Really helpful staff who explained how to order and buy products not available for self pick from and need to be collected direct from the warehouse pick up points.

Got some nice things... Great shop... Just one comment to make, that the disabled toilet at the main entrance was out of order... Was an inconvenience but sometimes these things can't be helped... I hope it got fixed quickly
