Great place to chill, have a few beers and watch sport on decent screens.

This is the 2nd time in 3 months I've hired the function room, for my sons 18th and daughters 21st. Great access from 2pm beforehand to set up, very reasonable hire costs, excellent bar prices and lots of room for balloon displays, banners, tables and chairs and stage for a DJ. Both times the breakage deposit has been sent back no qualms and I'd definitely use Charlies again. Our guests had a brilliant time. Thank you so much. 5***** from us. All the best, Lisa x

Visited a few times now with and without the kids. Totally transformed the place. Great for the kids, having a pool, snooker and air hockey tables. Pleasant staff also. Love it. Tickets booked for October for the hypnotist night in their large function room, can't wait.

1st impressions made a lovely job of the club bright clean Really good friendly staff, some spending time chatting with customers disregarding the customers queued at the bar and didn't go around collecting glasses enough,we always took ours back to bar but some tables had a collection of Glassware 1 lady (customer) was actually collecting glasses,disabled toilet door doesn't close properly,had to take someone to the loo on guard so no-one could see in or come in overall Really lovely atmosphere friendly staff and customers all in all a great place well worth a visit and bar at affordable prices

This is a new venue to the area with a sports a theme, the place has seen a massive investment and has been refurbished to a high standard, the staff are very welcoming and friendly and the place hosts a variety of entertainment at the weekend, its definitely worth a visit.

Great place to have a good time. Great for parties and group gatherings. Great live music venue....... bands......stand up......old time dancing on a regular basis and big band swing music. Cheap beer. ☺

An old looking working mens club in heckmondwike/Liversedge which is both welcoming and lively this club is an excellent place to visit especially when they have live bands playing. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the beer is good too

Been here once for a wedding. Very spacious in the function room, I was surprised! Dance floor was a good size which was great for the kids to be able to run about without bumping in to tables. Just 1 little thing to pay a bit more attention to the toilets. They had a strong smell and it wafted in to the main room now and again

Lovely bar. The staff are amazing and so friendly. Pool tables are good, free Duke box. Absolutely recommend.

Excellent place, great and polite staff. Dogs welcome and plenty stuff for kids. Really recommend.

Had an 18th 11-2-23 from beginning to end staff and venue absolutely perfect thank you Gemma and all gang for the more personal friends not staff approach you were truly amazing x

It's closed down now don't know if it will ever open up again it's opened up again as Charlie's sports bar not tried it yet
