Got everything pictured for under $20 during happy hour!! First time trying this place. Our server was a little slow, but everything else was great.

Not a bad place. The food is pretty good. They have cheap appetizers for happy hour, and I like to go on Tuesday which is burger day. On Tuesdays, their burgers are half-off. If you hit them up on Tuesday during happy hour, you glean get a pretty good meal on the cheap. I went during mid afternoon, and the place was dead. Only like three or four tables occupied. Wait staff seemed like they could have been more attentive, but were probably more interested in relaxing during their slow period than dealing with customers.

Bar Louie has an awesome Happy Hour!!! The Lemon Drop was Top Notch 😋 The jalapeño honey wings and the shaved steak sandwich were delicious! The atmosphere was inviting and the service was impeccable. I’d visit this location again.

First let me me start off by saying everything took forever to get and on top of that we never got our alcohol beverages even though the bartender wasn't busy it felt as of we didn't matter. Second none of the chicken was done I mean none of it and it's like they didn't care. To sum it all up I would never eat at this establishment again poor customer service , horrible cooking and bad bartending.

Got to burbon BBQ with fries. Pretty good food. The place wasa bit busy though, might have been understaffed. Still was a great experience.

Yesterday we stopped by for drinks and appetizers. Some of the staff were brand new and doing well, but one really stood out. Amber took the time to make sure we were taken care of even though she wasn’t a server and then talked with us a bit. She really impressed us as someone who should managing the restaurant (hope someone from management reads this)!! She made our visit there enjoyable and memorable!

Staff is very cool. Their crazy cocktails are excellent along side with a solid beer selection. The food comes from a fryer. I think one of their biggest draws is when the weather is nice they have a great outdoor seating area. They have umbrellas in case it's super sunny. I've always had a good time there. It's because the staff is friendly and the drinks and food are reliable. After feedback given by the establishment, I have edited and upgraded my review. I appreciate an establishment that knows exactly what they are and thanks people for saying it out loud, a literal +1.

From 01.07.2023. Everything about this dining experience was dreadful. From woefully lame attempts at both food and beverage to multiple staff members smoking pot in the restroom in front of minors to to the most indifferent management I think I've ever witnessed, this was a total failure. It was not an overly busy night in the restaurant. Our server was doing her very best to deliver service but everything else in the place was not supporting her. The night manager was contacted on several occasions and I honestly think that made everything worse. The bar service was very slow, the kitchen was worse - much of our food sat under heat lamps waiting for who-knows-what (of course we didn't know it was our food until we watched it being delivered). Almost all of our party of nine did not like their food, my blackened shrimp taco appetizer looked like it had been stepped on (and it may have been). Seriously awful value at $14. When issues occurred at checkout, the manager completely left the burden to an admittedly inexperienced person that wasn't familiar with the point of sale system. From the very start to the very finish I wish I had not walked in this place. I wish I could say it was a swing and miss for this Bar Louie, but there was really never any attempt at a swing.

Our server Angel was amazing! Couldn’t decide on what to get and gave us great recommendations on food and we loved it! Will be coming back for sure! Bloody Mary was top tier🤩

On Saturday 7/8/23. My friends and I dined in at Bar Louie, We experienced great service.The food was fresh and tasty shout out to the cooks! The server Kendahle was so polite and patient with us . We really enjoyed her service and enjoyed bar Louie. We definitely will be back !!!!!!.

I had a great experience at Bar Louie this week! I am from out of town and this was my second time coming in. Our server, Bre, was amazing! She was super attentive and personable! We definitely plan on coming back again!

Positive: Chicken sandwich is always good! But this time it was over cooked! Negative: I’ve been to this location a couple times. My last visit was bad. The waiter autumn didn’t know what she was talking about . They were out of everything they claim but the truck just happen to come once I asked for the manager . The fries weren’t fresh either time, even tho I requested them to be. It took for me to ask for a refund or make them fresh for them to actually be fresh . They charged me for 2 honey mustard but didn’t charge me 1st visit ! SMH.

The food was very good and the service was great. The food came out fast. The only thing I have to say is that there was a lot of trash littered about in the outside area, leading to an increase in flies. That's about it, and those factors were most likely due to wind but the trash was left there the entire time we were eating.

Saturday night and wow super terrible service. Quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had eating out which I eat out about 6 to 8 times a week. It was incredibly slow/not crowded. Minimal staff on, including no manager to be found. Took 15 minutes to order drinks just for them to tell us 15 minutes later that they were out of 2 of the 4 drinks ordered. Tried to order the shrimp tacos but 5 minutes later came back to tell us they were out. Took 20 minutes to get the 2nd attempt drink order. I could go on for days about the service. Terrible birthday dinner experience. Would not recommend coming here on a Saturday. Chicken was also undercooked.

Holy smokes the night I had. I regular this bar because it's close to my house. It was never anything special, but boy the month or so it feels like a different bar. The staff is so friendly I can't sing the praises loud enough. This young man Connerwas helping me today never did I feel like I was waiting he was incredible at conversing and kept up with me. Great experience and whatever you guys are doing is working keep it up

As an update to my review below . . . Garrett reached out to me and I spoke with him today. He was genuinely interested in gathering the facts, looked up my tab in order to speak with the appropriate individuals. The food service industry is facing real challenges "post Covid", and those that meet those challenges will survive. I have historically enjoyed BL, their food and environment, so I'm pulling for them. Original Post . . . Table for 7. Early dinner before an evening at Kirkwood Performing Arts Center. I'm not sure what's going on with Bar Louie. My last two visits (Streets of Saint Charles and Kirkwood) are both suffering from the same slow and below average service and food quality. There were only two other tables occupied while there. The food was cold, and parts of orders were never brought to the table. I had to go to the bar myself to order another drink. Apparently, I interrupted the bartenders texting conversation, as I was told to hold on." Remember, there were only 4 other people in the entire place. Additional waiters stood idle in plain view of our table . . . talking. I've never run a food service organization, but this was clearly a management issue. And having similar issues at the Streets of St. Charles leads me to believe this is an organizational problem.

Went for brunch with friends. Half of our beverages were missing ingredients because they were out of everything or it wasn't prepped in time. When we ordered food we were told we could not order any salads because they were out of lettuce. The food that we ended up ordering turned out okay, but my avocado toast only had 1/2 of the toast covered with the avocado. I understand being short staffed, but if you are out of important ingredients you need to send someone to restaurant depot or the grocery store. Our waitress was very nice though!

The food we received was good, but would have preferred the kitchen speak with the staff proactively when they have 86’ed items that they ran out of. My order was in for a long time when the kitchen informed the wait staff they had none of what I ordered.

I absolutely love this place! My definite go to in Kirkwood, the service is always quick and the staff is always friendly and informative of menu items! I love when Masina is behind the bar because I know I’m going to get great service and a good a$$ drink!

After a long hot day outside and even an injury incurred…we stopped by, hot and starving. Our First time here and what a joy to eat some good food, served by Kate. She was a delight and listened to our stories of the day. Great, asset in a staff member. We felt very attended to. All around excellent service and food. Thanks Kate!

This is the best Bar Louie location probably in the nation. The $10 bottomless mimosas..amazing deal! Masina doesn’t usually work brunch but we are so blessed that we came in on a day that she was because she made our experience excellent. Food was good and the vibes were definitely there

This was my first time visiting Bar Louie and I was absolutely blown away by the amazing service I received. Normally I don’t write reviews but my server, Trinity, was not only knowledgeable and knew the menu well, but she also brought such a wonderful vibe to our table. She suggested the Louie Burger and it was out of this world. 10/10 would recommend heading here for your next meal and also giving Trinity a visit!

Went to Bar Louie today for the first time today and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time! Trinity was my server and she was great. I got the “ All Nighter” burger. Not only was it delicious, but it came out fast as well! I felt well taken care of here. Will definitely be bringing me and some friends next time. Thanks again!

Angel was the best! Her food recommendations were great and knows the menu very well! Very attentive to our table and always checked in and had a lot of laughs. Definitely coming back!

The waitress was very nice and kept the bottomless mimosas flowing but the establishment was awful. The booths were all torn up, the bathroom had a sink and toilet paper holders on the floor, holes in the walls, and a dip in the floor I tripped on.

Street tacos were so good. The buffalo flavor boneless wings were spicy 🌶 (🧡which I like, but some don't)

My friend ordered tacos and instead we received nachos. Now granted this doesn't happen every time I go to this restaurant. This one time we were there in the afternoon and just ordered soft drinks and the guy let us have them on the house. I have always had great experiences at this place. We ate our nachos too quickly to get a picture.

Took my friend here for her birthday. David was an awesome waiter! The food and drinks were amazing and done in a timely manner and the staff is BEAUTIFUL. 10/10 would recommend. ☺️

I got the burger with bacon and fries, the burger itself was cooked properly and tasted good, but the bun was uncooked and almost moist the fries were okay nothing to talk about almost tastes double fried my waiter was nice but one of the staff came up to us and was mad at us for sitting in the place we were seated (the waiter placed us and served us) so I don't get what was wrong. everything was fine but it was still uncomfortable.
