Amazing
lodge
nestled
hillside
by
a
gorgeous
lake.
But
that’s
not
all,
it’s
the
professional
and
caring
staff
takes
the
cake.
After
staying
at
a
less
well-designed
lodge
in
Ishasha
QENP
earlier
this
year,
coming
to
Chameleon
Hill
was
like
checking
into
the
Ritz
Carlton
and
finally
finding
luxury.
The
rooms
and
common
spaces
are
designed
very
thoughtfully,
the
killer
view
of
Lake
Mutanda
from
all
the
rooms
and
common
areas
is
just
magical!
I
would
definitely
come
back
again
even
without
trekking
Gorillas.
The
drive
from
the
lodge
to
Rushaga
gate
of
Bwindi
Impenetrable
Forrest
National
Park
is
only
30-45
minutes
away
depending
on
road
conditions
and
your
comfort
of
driving
on
dirt
roads.
Fuel
is
found
midway
between
the
National
park
and
the
lodge
should
your
gauge
be
low,
small
villages
with
craftspeople
are
all
around.
But
the
gift
shop
at
Chameleon
Hill
Lodge
is
also
well
stocked
and
priced
fairly
so
no
need
to
haggle.
