The drinks were fantastic I give that five starts 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 unfortunately the rice wasn't cooked all the way through and the steak was marinated a little different for seasoning. Some folks swear by this place I just give my honest opinion. I'll definitely come back and try something else from the menu.

There was a group of 10 of us that ordered a well range of choices from the menu and everyone enjoyed their food. My bf and I got the Texas nachos and I’d say they are the best nachos I’ve had from a Mexican restaurant. The chips and salsa were also the best that I’ve had and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Customer service was great

I’ve come to find a great amount of Mexican restaurants in my area are very high quality but this particular restaurant is absolutely perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing about my dining experience.We for the Sampler as the appetizer and it was so much we couldn’t finish it all between 3 guys. I then ordered the Chicken Fajita as my entree and it came out perfect. Still steaming hot on the cast iron. Our server Leo was a delight. I will definitely be retuning to this place next time I am in the mood for some top tier Mexican food.

Our wait time for food was longer than what we are used to, but everywhere you go in 2022 is like that. What made it pleasing were the amazing drinks and being greeted with chips and salsa while we waited. The food tasted fantastic, and we had a very kind server.

Ordered the pork and they over layered the meal with onions excessively. Husband asked to bring 2 beverages at a time because they over ice and the waiter said we can only bring out 1 at a time. Not our best experience.

We stopped into El Tapatio on a whim, while in the area and I'd gladly make the 1hr drive to revisit. This was the best Mexican restaurant we've been to since living in the southwest. We had fajitas and carnitas, and both were outstanding. Our little guy LOVES guacamole and he was not disappointed. His kids taco was perfect; good portion, lean beef and a fresh corn tortilla. He was so happy. The margarita was delicious and he pina colada was a show stopper with a honey rimmed goblet coated in coconut. The price was fair for the portions, quality and service. They were so gracious and generous with the chips and salsa! It's no wander the place was packed. I highly recommend.

Stumbled in here while on a work trip. Decor and ambiance was great off the bat. Full bar (always a plus). The Molcajete Tarasco was fantastic. Service was better than average. Greeting could use some work, but I won’t lower the score for that. I came here for great food and service and both were better than expected!

Hands down!!! Best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to!!! Food and margaritas are the best! Staff is top notch also! Another restaurant was recommended, but we came here instead! So glad we did!!!! We will definitely come back!!!! Thank you!

Had two great meals here on our vacation from Ireland and couldn't fault the food or the service. Food was better than some others nearby on the 192 with similarly high ratings. We shared a mix of tacos and a chicken quesadilla with rice and beans. Kids taco was great. Even the chicken nuggets for my picky youngest were good. Kids loved the complimentary chips and salsa and worth getting some guacamole. Excellent margaritas too 🍹. Well worth a visit. Service was great. Highly recommend.

The only negative is that we were charged an automatic tip for our table of 6. A lot of places do this so I’m still giving it 5 stars because the food was absolutely amazing, our waitress was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. Bonus points for the live Mariachi Band! The portions were so big everyone took home half their meal. The food was very authentic tasting as well!

They’re always amazing !! No complaints great food, great tequila, they speak English if you don’t speak Spanish, they’re all very nice. The food is authentic and homemade, it comes out fast and hot. Music is good too

Prices are good, service was average, food was average, the aguas variety and flavor were good.

Guacamole, Chicken tostada and Tapatio Sampler (all chicken) were good. Unfortunately the drinks were not. The cucumber melon martini and mango mojito were both so sweet. I was hoping the martini would have been more refreshing and slightly sweet, but both were very syrupy sweet. The frozen passion fruit marg was a pass too.

Fantastic! I had the Molcajete Tarasco which really could feed 2 people and the cost was half that of an entre at some of the chain restaurants nearby. The food was all fresh and delicious, service was great and oh did i forget to mention the margaritas? My only regret is that I can't get them to make a copy of this restaurant and put it in my home town.

This is our favorite mexican restaurant, generous food servings, good ambience, nice place, good choice of music, the mariachi band is superb, good service, taste wise is excellent, good price.

Our group of 15 visited El Tapitio for the first time. The service was great & attentive. I wanted to try something new so, I ordered the Alambre & I was pleasantly pleased with my selection. It was a wonderful combination of steak, chicken, chorizo. pork & ham with peppers, onions, & cheese. And it included rice & beans. The hotter salsa was a good upgrade as well..

One of our favorite Mexican restaurants. Food (my fav is tongue taco) and drinks (good margaritas) are always served quickly and staff are friendly. They even have a mariachi band for ambiance. This time we came to celebrate my husbands birthday and they made him a special birthday dessert.

We had a very enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was extremely nice, and I loved the live music. Restaurant staff was friendly and helpful. Food came out extremely fast, was sizzling hot, and had good flavor. We felt it could have had some more seasoning, but it was still good. We would visit again.

First, their chips and salsa were amazing. The customer service was amazing. The mariachi band that was playing on a Friday night was full of talent. The amount of food they give you for your dollar is worth every cent. The taste of the food, even the refried beans was worth every star. The waiter recommended the fajitas and I am a happy guest! Too bad I live 40 minutes away. I can only imagine their margaritas are perfection.

Excellent food. We had the Molcajete Tarasco for 2 and it was delicious!! Friends had the Fajitas. Very busy establishment, well worth the wait, if you don't get there early enough.
