A lot of fun to wander around. We went kayaking early in the morning while it was still cool out and it was very easy and quick to get in the water. Would definitely go again! For the trails I recommend to wait until after it rains so the wetlands are flooded, very scenic and beautiful.

Pleasant greenspace. But, more a well maintained municipal storm water remediation site than an example of pre-colonial Florida nature.

Very rude staff, multiple signs and diverging paths led my group to go down the stream a little father than we were supposed to then one of the staff members forced us to turn around as he degraded us and basically implied we couldnt understand a simple sign even though members of my group were using non-rentals too! Upon returning our canoe multiple other staff member made rude comments to us as if the guy went back quickly to make sure we looked bad. Very unpleasant experiece. The scenery was beautiful. My group was civil and cooropertive with the staff the entire time.

Fun place for a walk. Kayaking, paddle boarding or canoeing add to the fun. The trails are great for a walk o run. The fact it is within city limits, makes this a nice little escape.

Lovely park for a walk. Flat concrete surfaces and wooden bridges so easily accessible for all. Lots of wildlife to see

This park is a fantastic place to kayak. Ryan and Alex were the ones working the kayak rentals, and were extremely nice and very helpful and knowledgeable. Being on the water made me feel like I was finally on vacation. The kayak ride was very pretty and peaceful once you get just a little downstream. An unexpected gem!

Do not go here even if you just want to do a walk on the trail. They do not allow people from out of town to park under threat of towing.

If you are taking the Heritage trail south from Babb Landing, you will eventually end up at this small portion of Shingle Creek Park. There is a section of trail that loops through the woods here as well as a small parking lot and playground. There is also a pavilion with picnic tables.

Used to be great. It's so sad they are allowing homeless tent towns. I would not recommend until they fix the issue. Totally trashed.

No restrooms and the outhouse is boarded closed. Parks are a place of fun and bathrooms are a "must have".

👍👍 That is an amazing place to have fun with your kiddos. It is an excellent place to have fun with your children, there are various depths in the pools so you can go with your children since they are babies (under your care). You can't bring food, but there is a place where you can buy food, its pri...

👍 This is a nice park to take your dog. The parks are in the back of the park, and it has two sides: a small dog side and a large dog side. The benches in the parks aren’t great, and there aren’t many places to sit, so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend for meeting friends. There are some awesome outdoo...
