Stay was fine, clean room, everything with an outlet worked. Strangest late- checkout policy I've come across though: "we can charge you $25 until 1:30 p.m., or $15 until 1p.m." .....?! Don't get me wrong, it's not about the money. It's about all the elegant little ways one gets silently shafted just a little bit here and there. It's not enough to really hurt, but after a while there's this uncomfortable chafing sensation....

Stayed here for New Years. We got to our one bed bedroom at 11pm and the AC unit was broken. It would make a loud clicking noise trying to turn on every 5 minutes while we were trying to sleep. We switched rooms and woke up to the custodians cleaning carts rolling on the concrete flooring outside of our room a few times. The noise sounded like a plane flying over and would rattle the room. Later in the day our key card stopped working twice and had to get it manually unlocked to get in our room at 1 am. Also, we noticed our room was not serviced by the custodians before checking out.

Even though staff was very nice they were very slow as well. Quick about taking your money but clueless on where to get us more towels and trash bags. When we entered the room we couldn't believe pictures online can be very deceiving. Beds very uncomfortable. AC not working. Gave it some time but didn't work. I called front desk which they sent someone who so call fixed it. The 2 nights we stayed the AC worked when it felt like working. Very hot and humid in that room. Only had 2 large towels for 4 people. We asked for more never got them. No extra trash bags in the room either. We asked for them never received them. When we asked a custodian there for one that's exactly what we got just one. SMH. Pool was very cloudy and dirty but yet they just cleaned it.

For the price I wasn’t sure what we were going to get but it turned out well. Our room in the A building had been renovated. Small fridge was big enough to store essentials for breakfast and lunch. Microwave, one-cup coffee maker, toaster. Dishes and liquid dish soap provided but no dish towels. Unit was very clean. Comfy beds, plenty of pillows. Pool area very nice, roomy with a play area for kids. The hot water situation was talked about around the pool but if you get up early or take a shower at an odd time, you have a better chance at having a hot one. A/C unit worked great. Good location for theme parks. TERRIBLE traffic but that’s typical for this area. You might hear the traffic in your room but the a/c will mask it. Overall we’d stay here again.

This hotel exemplifies service. The whole staff was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and understanding. They ensured all my accessibility needs were met including roll in shower and the pool lift. The hotel is also beautiful and has many amenities. Hope to come back one day

This hotel does not, by any means, reproduce the quality standards I've experienced in my prior stays at Royal Hotels and Resorts and its partners. The room heating/cooling system didn't work. Luckily enough the weather was mild. The room had some really old home appliances. There was this old refrigerator that was so loud I had to plug it of the power, so we could have some silence in the room. The phone didn't work. I asked for help and all they said is that I had to wait for a while so it would work. Every time I had to speak to the reception I had to walk all the way there. Blackout curtains didn't work, so people could see us inside at night if we had our lights on! Breakfast was very simple and had limitations on the units of food each guest could have. In the end, when we were packing to leave, we notice one travel pillow we brought was missing from the room. I communicated this to the receptionist and she could care less. She just shrugged me off. Outrageous! Again, I couldn't recognize Royal quality standards in this hotel. I simply do not recommend staying in it. This hotel does not comply to the Royal Holiday quality standards. Close it down and either review every aspect of what happens there or just say Royal doesn't have a hotel in Orlando. It would be better than deliver this shameful experience to your associates and stain Royal's good name.

The rooms were terrible. Even the fridge has oxidized. The were no lights in the wash room. The microwave was dirty and dust in the windows. The property under remodelation. But in their website doesn't say anything about the remodelation and noise. Even the chairs in the room were stain. One of worst hotel to stay in Orlando.

The bed was the absolute worst bed I have ever slept on. When you sat on the mattress you instantly hit the box spring and it made load creaking sounds every time we moved. You could look at the bed and see a big indentation in the mattress. There was also a one inch gap at the bottom of the main door allowing bugs and light to come right through. The room was atleast clean though. If it would not have been so late ag night then I would have left and found a different hotel.

Room was clean, but refrigerator not plugged in, no coffee cups or coffee pot, just the coffee maker. And when we went to the check in desk later that day to ask a question. The girl was rude. No towels at the pool like their Website states there is. The place wouldn't be so bad if they put attention to the details.. There is alot of competition out there, you really can't afford to be lax on things..

No way. Rooms were clean, but that's if you can even get in it before being accosted by people asking for money etc. Small rooms. The offer breakfast in time slots for $10 a person everyday. Whaaaat? Yes. We stayed one night, lost all the money we paid for a week's stay but went to Homewood Suites and was delighted. Worth the venue change. The cleaning staff were super nice though.

We were working in Kissimmee and this hotel was very near the job site and it had an affordable price. Service was nothing special. You have to pay for breakfast but my son loved the pool and playground. Rooms need to be upgraded. But they're still nice and I LOVE their towels.

Honestly this place is better than I thought it would be. It's clean, quiet and comfortable. The 2 young ladies at the desk were very nice and helpful. I'm sorry I don't remember their names. I would be more than happy to stay here again.

Better than expected, especially for the price. Clean room, no frills but we had a little coffee Maker. Clean fridge, clean bathroom. Small microwave and 4 sets of dishes and silverware. Nice heated pool with a little playground. Nice staff. I would request an inside room Next time. Attleboro bit of traffic noise.

This place may be bare bones but you get everything you need to have an awesome stay. The suite I stayed in was spacious. Front desk was lovely. It was quiet and felt safe.

I feel scammed that they call this place a resort. It’s a motel but I’ve stayed at nicer motels by far. There was no hot water at all. The door had a half inch gap at the bottom, didn’t shut all the way. The noise from the street was so loud. The floors were filthy. The sheets were dirty and itchy. We had a $150 deposit we were unaware of. There was ridiculous cleaning fees. $25 per utensil that was left dirty but they couldn’t even provide dish soap or a sponge. The tv was extremely outdated, with barely any functioning channels. There was no tv guide. There were signs that said the fire alarms don’t work, apparently there was suppose to be a fire attendant but that was clearly not the case. There were many boarded up rooms by the office. We were told this was a rare find yet there were several vacant rooms. It’s not a good area, it’s connected to a gas station. If my son wasn’t already asleep we would have left immediately. I wouldn’t recommend to anybody.

  • 4/5 Bryan C. 6 months ago on Google
Well, everything was good, however, if it were up to I would recommend they have either a printed TV channel guide, or, add a TV Guide Channel to the tv. It takes far to long to try to figure what channels are what! 🥴

Stayed there for 3 nights during Country Thunder at Heritage Park. Room was good for the price and location to venue. Parking was right in front our room. Room had a small kitchenette with sink, microwave, coffee maker, and fridge. Mattresses on bed were very worn and uncomfortable. Sheets were very white and clean. No bed bugs!!! Pillows were comfortable. Has 3 floors but no elevator, so people who can't manage stairs need to request bottom floor. The room was very humid and the sheets and floors felt damp all the time. Had to have the A/C on freezing to get rid of the moisture in the room. Overall it suited the purpose of the stay at a reasonable rate. They did offer breakfast for a small fee in the main lobby area of hotel which we did not utilize. Lots of places to go nearby for food and next to a Racetrac gas station you could walk to for snacks and drinks. Overall, would recommend. Non smoking in the rooms and outside of rooms. Appeared to be a safe area to stay too.

The ONLY good thing about this place is the SUPERVISOR CARMEN CoLON...SHE GOSE TO AND ABOVE HER DUTIES TO MAKE YOU FEL WELCOME. No designated smoking area. Apparently they only accepts Sevice "dogs" NOT cats because only dogs can be service animals to them. I came all the way from MD with my Service Animal Cat and I had to "do something" with my baby because their site says "Pet Friendly" and that only applies to dogs. We were considering buying this time share but not after this TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. NO COMPASSION AND LOVE FOR ANIMALS ( unless it's a dog under 2 years old.) Full story with photos on my Social Media profiles.

Great staff. Great spot. Pool is heated and open 24/7. Now that's what I'm talking about lol. Condos are clean and spacious and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. Great vacation.

Stayed here for 4 days when it should’ve been 8 days. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. The first day I walked into my sheets being ripped. The front desk ended up having it fixed the next day. The maid should’ve noticed it, when they made the beds. They (maids) came into clean my room, and left my floor wet, which I almost slipped and fell. Then they cleaned my bathroom and it looked like they dumped a bucket of water all over the floor. I called and the maid still didn’t properly mop it up so I had to finished it myself. My phone didn’t work. I called the maintenance man again who seemed to know NOTHING about what was going on. And still couldn’t fix my phone after 3 phones. The television was not bright at all. I couldn’t see the picture clearly. and I could barely see it unless I sat on the edge of the bed. And the black out curtains were awful. They crumbled right when I tried to open them originally. So they had to replace the curtains… Go someone else and save some money! It’s worth it.

Clean rooms, nice staff. Breakfast that is included is lacking but does the job. Absolutely needs a laundry room, they only had one small washer and dryer. I’d stay here again though, because I liked knowing the room was CLEAN. No critters coming home with you lol

The customer service is non existent at this place, they literally had somebody come to my room after booking and spending over 1,000 dollars to make sure I don't come back not because I didn't anything wrong bc they have a policy that you can't extend your stay. Instead of thank you for spending your hard earned money here, you are met with don't come here again.

We were fortunate to have been gifted this stay at this hotel, but I’d like to say the word “resort” is certainly misleading; if nothing else, I’d classify this as a motel. If you’re going for minimal expense and a place to lay your head, this will suit you. The service staff have been nothing short of friendly and professional. The room cleaning is never disruptive to any of your belongings, and the breakfast has a decent amount of selections for everyone. Our first night, we were in a room closer to the main road which was quite noisy most of the night. In that room, the tv was not functional, but when we called the desk they were very helpful and ended up switching our rooms as something was wrong with that television. That process was very simple and the staff were very helpful. However, the few issues I have are with the general location. As mentioned, if you’re closer to the road/gas station, you’re going to get a lot of street noise throughout the night (sirens, loud vehicles, etc). The other issue was that in the corner of that connecting lot between the gas station and hotel there is a few homeless individuals who make camp. While they had not been disruptive with us, I did hear quite a bit of yelling (between themselves and other guests) throughout our trip, and this occurred and progressively became louder during the evening. Again, this was mostly because of our rooms location. The other issue was that one evening, there was a very loud verbal argument that progressed into the midnight hour. There was banging around, and I was genuinely concerned for the well-being of whomever was in that room. On the hotel phone, they have an operator line and a security line. During this argument, I called the front desk several times to see if they could come check on those guests/ask them to quiet down (since it was late), and no one ever answered the phone. I also tried the number listed for security and it was not an active number, which was incredibly unhelpful in the circumstance. I wasn’t quite sure if it warranted police involvement, but not being able to contact any hotel staff was disappointing. The only other thing that was unfortunate was the lack of hot water and low water pressure of the showers. It may have been our room and not others, however we stayed in two rooms and both I experienced both issues in both showers. The hotel itself wasn’t unpleasant, but certainly not a resort, and definitely reflects the cost friendly price. Overall, it was a good stay, but if you are planning on staying, I’d try and request a room in the building further from the road/chaos of the gas station.

The pictures look better than the actual place. The room was small but clean. The TV in our room never worked. The beds were pretty good . But I couldn't pass over the swampy smell of the water . I had to shower immediately once home due to the nasty smell on my hair after showering there. Breakfast was not the best either. Honestly, for the price we paid, it could have been better.

The hotel has nice rooms and the staff were very friendly. The location isn't really near much 20+ minutes from any of the theme parks. I'm assuming the hotel has had trouble with guests in the past but they have the strictest policies I have ever seen. We were afraid the entire time we were gonna get charged for the slightest of thing in the room.

Upon arrival there was no water. Front desk said the water was off due to a repair that was being fixed. They said one hour. It didn't come on for at least 3 hours before we went to sleep. Also the phone did not work nor did the light next to the bed. The 2 outlets did not have electricity working. The front desk kept putting us off..we feel it should of been disclosed that there was no water upon arrival. Nor did they believe we should of been compensated for anything. We couldn't use the toilet nor could we shower. This establishment should be shut down. Its dirty..smeels like mold in the rooms..no ice available let alone bottles of water. Please please reconsider your stay here.

We are Royal Holiday members and recently stayed at Park Royal Orlando. I was disappointed in the room but didn't spend much time in it. Thank god. We did figure out after two days there was a blackout blind underneath the inside blinds. Tricky. It was very old school. The housekeepers were good but we didn't need them in our room every day. I didn't see a do not disturb sign? We will not stay again. Needs a major overhall. The help was good, the place not so much.

I checked into my room it was dirty the sheets were nasty with food crumbs in the sheets. They were not friendly when asked to clean the room all they would do is change the sheets on one of the beds but was nice enough to leave another set so I could change the other bed myself they refused to clean the room properly . Don’t expect clean rooms from this place

  • 4/5 Michele 1 year ago on Google
For the price, you're getting a decent deal. The room was clean and quick access to nearby activities, restaurants and stores. Here are a few details to keep in mind: the noise factor is pretty high, the entrance/exit can get very backed up by traffic, the location is known for crime activity and there are no elevators. My elderly mom who was visiting was put on the second floor .. just why??

Everything thing was great until the end of the trip. As I was checking out and on my way to the airport, I noticed that I wasn't wearing my necklace that my boyfriend gave me. I immediately remembered that I left it of the bathroom counter at the hotel. I gave the hotel a call the same day, and the woman at the desk told me her manager didn't have anything reported to her. I wanted someone to go and check the room right then and there. She took my number and said she would call me back. I had to call her back , but there was no update. I waited until the next day when housekeeping was to go in and clean the room, afterwards I called again because they must have seen it, but nothing was brought to the desk. I'm unsatisfied because management should've taken a more proactive approach in retrieving it themselves instead of leaving it to the honor system of their employees. It was such an important thing to me, and now it's gone forever.

Great price for what you got. Cleaning lady came every day. Nice pool. Clean room. Nice kitchenet prep area in the room. Would return if I come back to Orlando. Recommend.

Value for the money is excellent. We booked on airbnb for $50 a night and got a big mini fridge, microwave, toaster, nice size TV, kitchen sink, dishes, and a great outdoor pool. Cleaning staff was honorably persistent despite multiple "too early" grumpy mornings where I dismissed their knocking. 10/10
