I see 2 doctors in this office My electro cardiologist is Doctor shaikh I have seen him 3 times now This office does not have their stuff together they called my prescription in to the wrong pharmacy After I called them to remind them I was supposed to have a prescription and then it was the wrong milligram and wrong amount The doctor himself has been rude all 3 times or just a Jerk. The insurance change to allegiance and this is where I was put my old Heart doctor in Clermont were very nice very sweet and have their stuff together the staff is nice here. And they try This place is just a mass and I'll be happy when I'm done with it..on to the next.

The doctors here are good if you can get in to see them. The front desk clerk was rude and treated my questions as if I was a two year old. I will be going to a new cardiologist, one that valúes the patient as a person and not just an insurance claim. This place was like a puppy mill...just trying to make a buck.

Dr gets 5 stars, office gets 1. Made and appointment well in advance that was confirmed 2 days before, then I get a call the day before that the dr "took the day off" That is Exactly what she said. Next appointment was over 3 months wait and no guarantee that it wont get canceled again. No wait list for a cancelation. 100% Poorly handled. Where I come from if the Dr becomes unavailable/cancels they apologize and squeeze you in asap, ..if I cancel then I can understand waiting. They should of called asap with a reasonable date. I have been waiting on a few concerns I have. I suggest if you have any cardiovascular concerns you go to another facility as you may never get in and the office has zero compassion. PS I agree with all the negative reviews about the oak commons office. Went once, never again.

This is the worst place you can go. Not for the doctor but for the people working in this office starting from the office manager which is Jennifer she is below 0. If you want a resolution with your heart problem. Please do not READ CAREFULLY DO NOT! BRING anybody here. Service is horrible they have no sensitivity with the patient. They try to empathize but it doesn't work. I've been waiting for a study more the 4 month with no answer and when you call nobody know what is wrong. Please Do not bring your family member or yourself here

The office staff is a f’n joke! I called for a week, leaving messages for the prescription refill to call me back. I gave up on them and called the operator. She proceeded to tell me they couldn’t refill my prescriptions until I seen the doctor next week. When I was admitted to the hospital, they were originally talking about heart transplant. Then if I took my medication and followed doctor’s orders, they could probably do surgery on my heart. Now the prescriptions aren’t important enough to get refills 4 days. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!

Called to cancel mom's appointment. ''Diana" answered my call and midstream my sentence she interrupted, "What is the date of birth?" Told her I was still speaking and she hung up the phone. Called back for a supervisor two and a half hours ago and the supervisor was 'in a meeting.' Never received a call back. The doctor, Jooby John, who mom did see was at best nonchalant. When I called to make the initial appointment for mom, we were given almost three weeks in advance. When I advised that this was more urgent I was told we were 'lucky' to have gotten that appointment and that I should call everyday to see if they had a cancellation. Mom was having severe shortness of breath and palpitations and this is why the referral was maded for cardiological consultation.

We were new patient's this past week absolutely the worse experience we ever had with a doctor's office. Over 40 people waiting in the lobby not enough chairs for everyone. They have you come 1/2 hour before your appointment so you can sit and wait for hours before being seen. When you are finally seen 2 hours later the Doctor comes in and doesn't even introduce himself to us or say I am sorry i kept you waiting , absolutely no bedside manners and we got a whopping 15 minutes of his precious time , ordered 2 tests and walked out of room said go scheduling to setup the tests. 6 people in line to schedule future appointments. It was a fiasco. Wasted 2 1/2 hours our time $60.00 copay. We left shaking our heads and decided to cancel the tests we just scheduled and start the process over and go somewhere else. I will never ever go back. There has to be Doctors out there who still care about the patient/person and not how many patient's did i see or how much did i make today. So disppointed and by the way waited 2 weeks to get the appointment for something that needed done last week.

The doctors are fine. Their care is good. The staff is the worst. I tried for over a week to get my prescription refills and never got a call back.I had to call 10 time in one day and insist they give me a live person before they helped me.I recently tried to get an appointment and I have now waited 2weeks for a call back. The doctors there would do their selves a favor if they would hire better office staff.

This place is dirty. Dust everywhere. Missing ceiling tiles. Old machines. It needs an extreme update. My fiancé (whom has heart problems, not just with him but a long family history) went in to see them for a check up. With our insurance we do not need a referral, and honestly family practice is a joke. They look at you take your money and send you to a specialist. Well to save 20$ co-pay we went straight to the specialist. We had to schedule to appointment 1 month in advance due to always being over booked. We waited an hour to be seen (paperwork was completed prior to appointment). He is 25 years old, and the doctor kept being rude stating that a 25 year old should not be in his office. Saying that if he continues to smoke he will die before his heart gives him any trouble. Which is funny because he has already had a heart attack due to stress. First off its not easy to quit. Second I know plenty of 90 year olds who has been smoking their whole life. Dr. Starke is a rude dude.

I made an appointment for my husband and arrived 30 minutes early as requested, we filled out all forms that were too many and we were informed 10 minutes before the appointment that he couldn't be seen because we needed a referral. We don't need a referral to see specialists, but, the front desk person, that thinks she knows everything said I did because my card said "HMO" period. I told her I'm on a plan from my employer and I don't need one... Nothing, she knew better. I told her that I confirmed with the Florida Blue office that we don't need the referral and she said FLORIDA BLUE GAVE ME THE WRONG INFO! She seemed surprised that we didn't''t reschedule the appointment. Really? Please spear me the incompetence! I went back to drop of a formal complaint letter that I left with Anna (MA?) along with a copy of my Insurance benefit Summary that shows WE DON'T NEED A REFERRAL. Avoid this unprofessional office if you can. My complaint letter is probably in the shredder. They don't care!

My father had an appointment for an echo. He waited for the appointment for a whole month due to the doctor office appointment. Finally on the appointment day we drove 50 min which is from my house to them and when we got there, they said sorry the doctor had to leave and we need to reschedule. After that I had an appointment for the echo and after similar amount of waiting for the appointment. I arrived to the office and they told me that the doctor is behind and I have either to wait for an hour and a half or reschedule. I decided to wait because the drive was a lot. Then I got thirsty and I went to get me water, So the doctor Sandra called me to come for the appointment. I told her that I will be there for 5 min. And she got really upset and she was like “I can not wait at all, if u said that you will wait for the appointment, u should not leave the building”. So I told her that I had to get water and if she can wait for 5min I will really appreciate but she refused and told me to reschedule. That was really un professional. I waited for an hour and 15 min and she couldn’t wait for 5 min. And the worst part that she also had an attitude. Its like she is doing me a favor. Sandra is really not professional and I dont recommend her to anyone unfortunately

I have been calling for 3 weeks, for my client who is a MD. I have even used the physicians line. Still no appointment, no call back on 5 voicemails. Even calling the physicians line got transfered to scheduling depts, voicemail. Bad customer service.

Horrible horrible staff and doctor service, if you are trying to become pregnant or are do not use this office for hypertension. They only will prescribe you 2 types of meds one kills your liver. There best bet is to tell you to have your OBGYN prescribe you meds for your condition. Hey Cardiovascular Associates last time I checked you deal with hearts and the OBGYN deals with babies so I'm pretty sure you arnt doing your job. Worse off just letting one of your patients just suffer with no real fix to the problem is horrible. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE.

My mother was a patient here. She likes the doctor very much but the staff is awful. She called the office to see if her Life saving medicine was in and was consistently told by the staff it wasn’t in yet. She finally went into the office and was told the medicine was in 10 days ago even though various staffers told her it wasn’t there. They never bothered to look and didn’t even seem concerned about their mistake. I normally don’t post negative reviews but I think people need to be aware of this, especially senior citizens.

I have been going to this practice for a little over a year. It is very difficult to get information as to my tests out of them. They say they will tell you on your next scheduled appointment unless the test was abnormal. I don't know about others, but, I would like to know sooner to eliminate the worry. Dr. Shaik is the MD most frequently seen. He will ask about symptoms or complaints and in the middle of what you are telling him, he will stop you and tell you that you shouldn't be concerned as others with the same condition have much worse symptoms. I'm not so sure that is totally comforting.

The office staff are horrible. They scheduled an appointment for me and put it under the wrong name. They messed up my tests and never return calls. I cannot speak for the doctors, but good luck getting into one.

As someone who doesn't take the time to write reviews I really had to share my awful experience with this office. They are unreliable, never answer the phone or return your calls, consistently making appointments and then rescheduling or canceling on you the day before. Stay away from this place, they clearly don't care about their patients and the urgency/severity of their medical concerns.

Should have left this review years ago when I had my first issue with the staff. While Dr. Mathias is one of the best heart doctors around his staff is not so much, especially his prescription people. They dump you into a voicemail and you are to leave a message, don’t bother with details as they don’t listen, they call you back asking why you left a message! Smh Instead of listening to their patient on what their insurance company told them, they will yell at you, be rude than hang up in middle of conversation because they don’t like being treated in the same manner they treat you. They also do not even speak to the doctor they just give you information based on what they think you need to hear. Do not ask to speak with the doctor either, bc they will tell you he’s unreachable and you need to schedule an appointment with him to discuss your meds (even if you saw him a week prior to your conversation) it’s all a scheme to make money there, they truly do not care about patients. It’s truly sad how you are treated by the staff. If you can put up with a rude staff, with many phone calls to get what you need, if you can get it at all, then give it a try. Personally I wouldn’t even send my worst enemy to this place.

Cardiovascular Associates- I am disgusted by this place. I went to see the doctor, who seems very competent- his staff however is not. Apparently, he ordered 2 tests for me one outside his clinic the other internally. I had no idea about the one that was internal. I went and had the external test done. Then I called the day of my follow-up appointment to confirm the time- only to be told they canceled my appointment with the doctor because the other test wasn't done. I have been calling for 2 weeks to get the other test scheduled and Titana is clearly incompetent. When I call I wait on hold for 20-30 min before anyone even answers the phone. I called today and asked to speak to someone in a position of authority and after being on hold for 30 min was transferred to someone named Myra who didn't pick up the phone. This is NOT how you run a business nor a patient practice. Find another practice.

Test was cancelled, next test was cancelled and then the follow up appointment was cancelled probably because they cancelled the previous tests, no follow up to do by the doctor. Doctors are kind and considerate, probably need someone to run the office the right way. Very sad for patients to go through this, obviously they are in distress ,then a visit to this office adds to the stress.

Had appointment and waited there for 3 hours before I left in discuss. Office a filthy mess with no seating for patients. Over booked to max. No social distancing. Many patients not wearing masks. Stay away from this office if time and health are concerns to you. They should be shut down until revisions can be made. Randolph Dale.

Stay away from this place at all costs and believe me you are doing yourself a favor, they really don’t know what they are doing, the secretary who called me and was super rude for no apparent reason, The doctor send me to get exams after exams, after more exams and at the end of the day AFTER $50,000.00+ Worth of examinations the secretary said they just found out that they don’t take my insurance and could not take cash either after a month an a half of all of it they NEVER prescribed anything for me, feel like they will used anyone to scam their insurance as much as they can and then dispose them all, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

My hubby and I have been going to Dr. Barrett for years. We are 83 years young and can truly say that Dr. Barrett is probably the BEST Dr. we have ever seen. You at times may have to wait for a time to see him but it is because he will spend whatever time it takes to answer all of your concerns. Very personable and concerned about your health. We love him.

Save yourself the hassle and find another practice. It is EXTREMELY difficult for a current patient to get in touch with a human being at this practice. I had issues with a change in meds the doctor prescribed on a Wednesday. Friday morning at 9:14AM I called (on hold for 5 mins. just to leave a message) pleading with them to call me back before the end of day as I didn't want to go through the weekend in discomfort. It's 11 days later and Still no one has returned my call. I tried to call, left messages, been on hold for 23 minutes and texted them from their website and in response to a reminder text they sent me to my phone. Nothing. It's a shame because IMO the doctors are GOOD doctors, but the handling of the admin side is inexcusable!

Dr Barrett is knowledgeable and takes the time needed with his patients. I've never felt "rushed" and his office staff is cordial and very professional. By the way, I have been his patient for 18 years and my husband is his patient as well.

The frying v desk staff is very polite and helpful. My appointment was at 3, but the Dr was running late. The office staff informed me she was running late. When they called me on she was very apologetic about her emergency and gave me and my reports her undivided attention. She and her staff are very accommodating and pleasant.

Dr. Mathias is one of those rare physicians who honestly cares about his patients. He never rushes through appointments and he spends his spare time researching how to best help us as our doctor. He saved my life. I highly recommend him!

From walking into the clinic to leaving, I was attended very well. Receptionists got to me quickly, didn’t wait too long to enter & Allison got to me right away. She explained everything to me in a manner that I understood & told me exactly what I needed to do & what she expected of me. I really like the way she did that. Direct & to the point which is what every physician should do instead of trying to sugarcoat everything.

Dr. Warren is very clear and precise about your issues and what he expects you to do as a patient he's definitely experienced and very professional he doesn't treat you like your just a number coming to make him money he treats you like a person. I changed my insurance just to be able to see him.

Can't tell you if they have good doctors but good luck getting seen. How many times can you show up to be told your appointment has been canceled or rescheduled? Well, 2 times for me because I'm done. Lots of doctors to choose from where you'll be treated better.

Firstly, the improvements to the waiting area are much more pleasant and gives an airy, lighter feeling. Allison Germaine is awesome! She is genuinely caring, and shows personal concerns about your health in making the best decisions regarding improvements or stability to my health. Allison takes the time needed to thoroughly explain test results to your understanding without feeling rushed or like you are only part of a quota. Again, she is without a doubt an asset to me as a patient and, a member of your staff.

The receptionist are unprofessional. This place is unorganized. I was called to come in for testing and was given an appointment time and when I got there was told I was supposed to be there at a different time and was refused to be seen. They act like they can't make an error saying they never do that test at that time. I was there the time they gave me.

Lack of professional work ethic. Only a few chairs in the waiting room do to COVID 19 social distancing but, it was over crowded with people standing against the walls. It was very uncomfortable when I had to witness, Dr. Shaik reprimanded the nurse for not doing her work properly, it turned out it was the digital system error and not her fault.
