Update after 5 days and trying some other "Soup Curry" in Sapporo and Hakodate: THIS is Definitely THE Place to head for if you're looking for Lamb soup curry ramen. The others are just not there for Lamb. The flavour depth of the curry here is far better. Original earlier review: Obviously the wrong place to go to if you don't like hot spicy food and if you don't like lamb (which features prominently on the menu). If you do like lamb in a very hot curry, this is the place! Interesting to note that there's also kheema on the menu. Even the vegetables which are in the curry are well executed. Not just vegetables boiled in curry. Some are battered or otherwise coated before being tossed into the curry and this gives a very good texture. Non scary prices but more than your usual ramen shop. I feel it's ok considering that it isn't the same thing!

So impressive. Simply fantastic. Their portions are huge and they don’t skimp out on their meats either. I’m in awe at how they managed to achieve this level of quality at their price. I’m still reeling from how good their curry was. Who thought it was a good idea to make curry with lamb meat like this? Because I’d like to bow my head towards the general direction of the person every morning. Filling, tender, crunchy where it counts, generous supply of rice, beautiful presentation, curry base that sits just right with the ability to adjust the spice level - It’s like if there was a child curry, this curry would be what that child curry would aspire to be in the future. Slow clapping. Even now, at a distance.

The best soup curry in Sapporo! This is coming from somebody who has had their fair share of soup curries from living here in Hokkaido Recommend the lamb soup curry and Zangi chicken, but of course.

Had omurice and curry here, and it is possibly one of the greatest meals I have ever had. Everything was perfect, especially the umami flavoured curry and the fluffy omu. Very very highly recommended.

I had soup curry twice in Sapporo and this was my preferred shop!!! The customer service was amazing and I feel they spent a lot of time and energy to carefully make the soup. You can choose from lamb broth or chicken broth. You can choose from having nine kinds of vegetables to 13 kinds of vegetables. You can also have rice that has all kinds of healthy looking grains in it. They give you an apron so that your clothes don't get splashed on while you're eating. After eating this meal my body felt so healthy and he did and energized and full of vitality. I didn't feel like they're relied too much on MSG like some other places. It also was not greasy at all. Usually vegetables in soup curry are fried so you should note that if you do not like fried things. I'm usually sensitive to old oil but I felt fine after eating the curry here. If you don't like gamey smell or taste I don't recommend the lamb. I loved it and thought that it was a good value and you can increase or decrease the amount of rice. If you get a smaller size of rice I think you can subtract 20 or 30 Yen from your bill or something like that.

4.4 - The pork soup curry was so tasty and fragrant. P.S. Level 2 is considered spicy to me already.

My second soup curry after the one I had at Sapporo Factory (Higuma Sapporo Soup Curry). I ordered sheep broth with hambagu. My first sip of the soup was that it is more salty than flavoursome. I didn’t find it as spicy, rich or tasty as the Higuma one. The vegetables were also less tasty. I definitely prefer the one I had at Higuma as I slurped up the soup there but here I didn’t find it that tasty. Maybe it’s the soup base? Also the restaurant had this funny musty ‘smelly feet’ odour. Maybe cos they allowed customers to take off shoes but it was quite pungent and took away my enjoyment of the meal.

The meal was mind blowing. I never expect to taste the best curry of my life right here in Japan. Thanks for the wonderful dishes. The servers were fantastic 👏 thank u so much for the wonderful memories and hospitality ❤️ the server was very kind to offer us the private room for our first dining experience it was our day 1 in hokkaido and it heals our long day of travel. you can smell the strong curry smell the moment u enter the building and it makes u crave for a good curry dish. Pls try the amazing raw lamb curry soup I tried it twice when I was in hokkaido. It was a great find. I'll definitely be spreading the word and introducing this to everyone I know.

Amazing bowl of curry to warm our tummy on our first night in Sapporo. The lamb was tender and soft. Love the amount of veg in the soup curry as well. Restaurant is located inside a building and it took us a while to locate…

(Tourist here. You can also ask for a menu in English or another language too!!) Got off the plane and found this place. I had ordered the lamb curry, omelet, and rice set. This came with soup, salad, and a tofu dessert with a spice level of 5 (which was a good guess as it was perfect). The curry was so good and matched well with a cold Sapporo beer. I definitely recommend this place. No negative complaints. Friendly staff and a super chill atmosphere. As a side note, you should call ahead for a reservation. I had went without one on a weekday and they just had one open table (I was lucky.)

The soup curry was delicious with big portions and reasonable price. I ordered the pork with 9 types of different vegetables. It only cost 1400yen. The service was good at first when the 2 guys arranged table for me. But, when the young lady who taking order was not patience and she a kind of rude I would say. But, anyway the foods is delicious. And is near to Odori park.

Very good Soup Curry. I was blown away by the depth of the spice mix that went into the curry. Coming from Singapore, we're no strangers to curries, but this one has all the flavour and depth without the oil and the coconut milk (although you can ask for a coconut soup base). We tried the Lamb Tataki soup curry ramen. This is good if u like lamb (it is slightly gamey). Also had the Chicken Zangi soup curry. This is tasty and I'm really happy that they served the fried chicken on a different plate. The soup curry came in a small casserole still bubbling. I wished this place would turn up over the more popular locations when one searches for soup curry on Google. It's really good! Perhaps it's because they don't seem to have an English menu. But their young and energetic wait staff are more than happy to explain how it works. The menu does have pictures. This restaurant is literally round the corner from the Sapporo Grand Hotel. Do check it out if you are around the vicinity.
